best on youtube! any plans on doing another online course at some point?

Thank you! Honestly I think I’m likely to just start putting everything on UA-cam- it works around my schedule better than the paywall stuff did, and I’m also kind of appreciating the challenge to get ideas simplified enough to fit into 8-12 minutes (while I was doing some 30-45 minute videos for the courses and not even saying much more)

Always on point with your videos! Would love to see how to take portraits with flash. How would you go about Flash+reflector

Thank you! Same setup for flash, clamshell for beauty style shots. But I’d typically use either a 16 inch beauty dish or a 24 inch soft box for head-only shots or a 38” umbrella for head and torso. I’d love to use bigger modifiers but my space is tiny and I typically only shoot shoulders up. If I’m using speed lights I put them in a bowens adapter to fit those modifiers, otherwise I’ve got a pair of interfit honey badgers if I want more power or faster recycle time. I’ve got a video planned to break down when and how flash saves the day in my salon, kind of how it can be practical and easy for salon use.
