Brilliant, simple, clear and concise tutorials. I used three of your tutorials in parallel to replace my power/volume rockers, rear camera and usb-c charging port to complete success. Keep up the great work. One small PS. Removing the battery was one of the most nerve-wracking things I've ever done. Ha! Just take your time folks. It'll eventually release.
Amazing video, helped a lot! As other people commented: You need a lot of force to remove the battery - for me until the point it was totally bent. I grabbed a spare before because I thought if I'm going to open it I can (after 2 years of dash charging) replace the battery in one go. I suggest grabbing one if you're at it. Second point: Needed a bit of glue for the power button. The flex band has a bit of resistance and didn't stay in place. Drop of UHU worked like a charme. I think I spent like 25EUR in total for battery, tools and the flex button. Gotta love the OnePlus 3T :)
Thank you for the guide. Was a bit scarred of pulling out the battery though - large force required. Had a bit of trouble to get the switches in position when remounting the back panel - not enough glue left on the body. Managed to arrange them though. Succes!!
Just did this successfully. Here are some tips. 1.) When taking the phone apart I found using my fingernail starting at the corner & then to the sides worked better for me than tools. 2.) When taking out the battery, use a hair dryer to warm the adhesive so it comes out easier. Pull a little & then apply heat. Repeat as necessary. 3.) The part of the cable at 2:55, I needed to add super glue to the back of the replacement part to stay put. Good luck. Remember to take your time & be careful. Took me about an hour.
Hi @helmetcamboy.. I hv a Oneplus 3T too.. But I couldn't get the volume and power button flex..Was told dat as the phone is outdated it's no longer available..Could you tell me from where you got it? Thanx..
Thank you for the video on replacing the buttons and also selling the parts. I have just completed the button replacement on my first mobile repair and these instructions where great.
Thank you for this tutorial. I did this on my OnePlus 3T and it worked. I have an advice for everyone: You need some glue to let the new connector stick. It won't stick well without glue because you need to remove the old glue to put in the new connector. Second advice: Try not to bent the battery. You can heat up the glue between the battery and the screen and use the tools to remove it without bending it.
Success! Had to buy from another reseller because you guys didnt sell to the Europe (Portugal) and didnt have the correct tools so I scratched it a tiny bit.....
My repairs were successful thanks to these instructions. However, in the process of screwing the Torx screws back in, I accidentally stripped one of the heads, so I will be unable to perform further repairs in the future. Is there any technique to remove a stripped Torx screw from the case short of getting a really, really, really, really tiny drill and drilling out the entire screw?
any ideas on how to put the old buttons into a new backcover? the backcover i bought doesnt have buttons in it (volume rocker & power button) had to swap everything into the new backcover. but now i'm stuck at the buttons.
I pulled my battery and it bent like hell. It takes a lot of force to remove that bugger and the battery simply isnt designed with that much rigidity. Because of how much the battery bent, its unusable now so ill have to order another one. Not that any of this is Wit Rig's fault, its just how OnePlus secured the battery into the phone. Also, 80% of the adhesive to hold the battery in came out WITH the battery so now i need to put some glue in there to hold the new battery into place (which i now need to order)

hey any idea where a good European spare parts merchant can be found? I have this issue plus an issue with the simcard reader(s) would they be linked? also if you would do a sim replacement video I would be overwhelmed with emotion :)
Europe is MUCH more expensive than China, sadly. I'm going to buy mine from www.parts4gsm.com , they seem relatively cheap (although it's a bit more expensive if you don't live in the Netherlands).
Hello, my 7pro has a compliant. The down volume button was jammed. And also by pressing on it no problem. I suddenly switched offed it. Trying to restart but the jammed volume button going to boot option. what's the solution... Kindly please reply
My flex wouldn't stick. I guess it has beed replaced in the past, so I tried to close it with buttons hanging loose and power button snapped of :/ Be sure that it sticks before you close the case.
So the process was quite painful because the buttons didn't want to stick. But hey, a little electrical tape and everything is holding together. I just have to not open it again :')

Be sure that it sticks before you close the case.
Better take it to the nearest OnePlus center.

after watching the video how many people tried doing this by themselves??
