I recently rediscovered this song and actually thought it had aged really well. The glossy production is amazing and their soothing vocals are something I miss in modern music.
I love the production and the chorus is killer! I’m not sure it was officially released as a single in the US. All Saints were great in their day and had numerous hits in the R&B/pop genre. As Shaznay has said We are not the Spice Girls we are All Saints.

I 100% agree with your thoughts on this song & the band, when I think about All saints first thing that comes to my mind is that their music definitely hasn’t aged very well, it sounds dated and unremarkable with mainly biased middle aged people defending the group and coming off with very ridiculous excuses to defend them despite many of these excuses being proven to be false and very contradictory making the band look bad (as if things weren’t bad enough for All saints, it’s as if their cursed or something, the last thing they needed is their fans making them look bad!) Today in the UK they’re forgotten, & the two of the foundering members of the group have admitted that the quality of their music wasn’t very good. With one them called Melanie stating both during the peak of their success & still till this day said that she didn’t like any of All saints music including this song and is baffled 😕 by it chart success. And let’s be honest the real reason for their chart success & media attention was because they’re mainly white and two of the members were from North American (They’re from Canada 🇨🇦.) If they’re women of colour singing this kind of music (which originally was case with All Saints.) they wouldn’t charted or receive that much media attention or critic acclaim for their time. Because why in earth would their fans be so obsessed with calling all the white members beautiful and not say anything about Shaz who was clearly the most beautiful member of entire group and has the best showomanship, it makes no sense. All I could say that their last number one called “Black coffee ☕️.” Is the only track I love from them, it’s all of the bands favourite song too particularly the Canadian sisters in the group.
