    I was a youth pastor 15-17 years ago, pre marriage and pre kids. Finally got back into it last week, now married almost 14 years & 5 daughters deep, including 2 in the youth group. This channel would've been so dope back in the day, but glad I found it today because it's a godsend. Thank you!

      @anthonyhernandez7073 - that's so cool that you now have both perspectives of pre-kids and now with kids! My goal with our content is to always provide the information I wish I had when I was starting out 😀

    Do you have a video that goes over what a year of events looks like? From lock-in to summer camp, to filler events throughout the year, all things that you usually have planned for the ministry's year.

    • @MinistryCoach
      @MinistryCoach  5 днів тому +1

      Unfortunately, no...we have events inside our YMGA course & coaching program that detail some of the bigger events that we do throughout the year. We will be adding more to that this year as well.

    My youth group is in NYC and we do not have mid-weeo service because our children live in NYC area, suburbs and even NJ. Do you suggest implementing these tips during our Sunday service meet up? It's difficult to engage with them outside of Sunday services. Thank you and God bless you

    You have said to never combine middle and high school. When does your middle school group meet and when does your high school group meet?

    • @MinistryCoach

      Our middle school ministry meets on Tuesday nights and our high school ministry meets on Wednesday nights. Both meet for every weekend service, but each have their own room and pastor 👍

    Just starting for youth group buttttttt having problems connecting with them…. They really don’t wanna be active on a group chat to have a Youth Name or Logo or anything in general! So do I just cut off the Text Group Chat? And save it for Sundays only? I’m totally bummed out about it

    Can you do youth group on Friday or Saturday?

    • @MinistryCoach
      @MinistryCoach  4 місяці тому +1

      @yvonneberko3674 - yes, you absolutely can...I wouldn't personally recommend those days just because students and families often have other things going on during those days, but if it works for your church/community, you can surely do it; however, I would recommend a mid-week day: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

    Do you guys use other rooms for your small groups?

    • @MinistryCoach
      @MinistryCoach  3 роки тому

      Yes, we use some of the other classrooms at our church for small groups so that they have privacy and less distraction. If you have the option, I feel it's better to separate them like that so they feel comfortable sharing. 👍

    My first job was working a now extinct department store Wards. Do you have an response time for the kids after your message typically before small groups or do you move to small group and have prayer then?

    • @MinistryCoach
      @MinistryCoach  3 роки тому

      I remember Wards!!! We do a prayer after the message, break into small groups and then they have some time to pray in small groups as well. Thank you for watching!!
