- Update your old MacBook Air to a new macOS for Free, in this video I'm using a 13-inch MacBook Air early 2015 using macOS High Sierra and I was able to update it to macOS Monterrey. On the video we even try to update to macOS Sonoma and Ventura, but my MacBook Air model only support up to macOS Monterrey.

I don’t get it. Every time I try to go to Monterrey it says for me to put my Apple ID in. It 100% works on other things but it says it is wrong and I’ve changed it so many times and it keeps doing it.

Hi Alex, I have MacBook Air (13 inc,Early 2015) I have deleted everything, emptied the trash bin but it still says here is not enough space to install macOs Monterey.What else I can do ?

I wondering why after installed， MacBook cant turn on
For some reason the app store won't accept my correct password (I verified it with what is on my phone) and it won't let me reset (the website is messed up from being outdated and it keeps timing out). Any thoughts on how to fix this? I'm the same version- trying to go from Yosemite to Monterey...

Try to delete all the stuff you don't need on your laptop, get a USB Drive and move files there.

If it only supports the devices..some older devices didn’t get the updates mostly on OCLP Monterey upwards..
Basically don't buy anything older than 2011

This is a good video but guy remember that these updates aren’t compatible with older macs for a reason. I got greedy and decided to run sonoma on a late 2013 iMac. Here’s what happened.
Safari would not work.
My mouse kept disconnecting.
WiFi wouldn’t work even though I was using Ethernet.
Apps wouldn’t load.
Constantly having to restart.
I suggest only upgrading to one version above what your Mac is compatible with. So if it’s catalina I suggest only upgrading to Big Sur. I had to do a full factory reset and re install of Mac OS X and then reinstall all updates up to catalina. DO NOT GO TO SONOMA ON UNSUPORTED MACS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
In my experience anything 2012 and later should work fine, make sure you have an SSD and ideally 8GB RAM or more. In the case of your iMac you need to read this: github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/issues/1008
