Puerto Rican Plena! Surprise parranda on 12/7/19!!! Thank you again to Fabiola Marí Mendez, Jesus Algarin, and Juan R. Nieves for coming all the way from Boston to NJ to my parents house for a surprise parranda! I also want to thank Figue ER Joe, Papo, Ivan, Pedro, Anibal Hanibal Ortiz and Ana Maria Alvarez Ortiz for also coming from Trenton and Elizabeth, NJ to join in the parranda! Also, nothing makes me happier than to see my abuela Lucy Alvelo happy and enjoying herself with the music she instilled and inspired me with!! 🙏❤️🇵🇷🎶

Ok I can't write en Espanol lol, but I'm happy new year to all of you. This was my family when I was young. Going house to house eating and having the best time. When people pass and you end up with mixed race kids like myself it goes away. I miss it and to tell you they were the funnest and most heart warming times in my life!!!
