As a parent of a 2.5 year old I don't understand why parents are allowing their 4 year old to be on tiktok...unsupervised...that's the issue.

Especially when there’s a wealth of wholesome family content you can watch together, or read books, or go outside??
My sister is 7 and I tried so hard to stop my sister watching UA-cam and TikTok but my mum just lets her do what she wants. I don’t think my mum understands the rubbish content on those platforms but I can definitely see my sister mirroring the content of the children of family UA-camrs and it’s killing me because she’s just doing what she thinks “other kids her age” (aka staged / scripted UA-cam videos) are doing.
I feel like if parents stop using UA-cam and TikTok as virtual babysitters, they wouldn’t have to worry about policing what their kids watch.🤷🏾♀️

My twelve year old thinks I’m the worst because they are allowed to watch tv while they’re getting ready for school, as long as they’re getting ready, and for an hour or so after school.. no phone, no iPad, no games. Granted my child is autistic and it’s very hard to get them to understand appropriate boundaries with electronics.
This is called pedo-jacketing and it's been happening to a ton of LGBTQ+ content creators and people in general. Just because a queer person makes content for children does not mean they have malicious intentions, if just making content creation marketed towards children was a crime then someone like Jake Paul would be already in jail.

I love the argument that kids shouldn't be watching fuzzz99's content, especially the parents pearl-clutching about their kids potentially stumbling across him. Like are we at the point where children are being granted unrestricted access to TikTok and it's the creators' responsibility to cater to them?

If a creator knows they have a young audience they do have a little bit more of a personal responsibility to not be shitty I think. You know like jo jo seewa had a younger audience at one point. So I think creators like that have a little bit more of a responsibility. But it's ultimately up to the parents to keep their kids safe online and teach them how to stay safe. It's no one else's job to filter what your kids see. That's the parents job.
@pineapplepapercrafts7942 I agree, but I also think it’s the case that now the average younger person (under 30) *is* a content creator, even if it’s just for their friends. They’re posting videos and photos and TikToks. I’m not sure this dude even meant to be a creator for kids, he mostly seems to just be posting about his life. Sure, I’d say it’s for young people, but I don’t even necessarily mean young in age, I mean young in personal sexual and gender identity. You could be 40 and just recently come out as trans and find utility in his content. So what if he’s “cringe”? We’re always telling people to be themselves and be true to who they are… unless we find them annoying. Then all of our worst assumptions about them are probably true, so they’re probably a predator. Only kids are allowed to be annoying, and adults should have learned not to be annoying, therefor anyone who persists in being annoying into adulthood must be trying to relate to and thus prey on children.
Also, I’m someone who is a serious introvert and finds loud and OTT people extremely grating, and to be honest he doesn’t bother me that much. He seems so infinitely good-natured that the positivity just shines through and kind of softens the blow that my senses so often take during social interactions lol.

what i find to be upsetting as a queer person is a lot of the false accusations of grooming CAME FROM OTHER LGBTQ+ people. LGBTQ+ people especially should know the danger of the word groomer because of hate crimes and legislation being passed. it’s so fucking upsetting. I work with kids and am queer and the term groomer is wildly upsetting to me, I fear being accused of being one.

@@bebop2523 even criticising "obnoxious content" has wider issues, mainly the way in which neurodivergent people have been dogpiled in society (and especially in schools) just for displaying behaviour counter typical to the norm. Im not saying mole is autistic, but it's no secret that the traits they're being hated on for are very common traits experienced my many of that group (being "cringe", energetic, loud, not conforming to social cues, not acting their age) and so the treatment of these behaviours are very closely linked to the stigmatisation of neurodiverse people.No ones forcing them to watch this type of content so going out of their way to bash on it only furthers the idea that ND people cant get the grace to just merely exist in society without being outcast for not conforming; bullying in spaces like schools for being neurodiverse is already a massive widespread issue, we dont need more content encouraging it because "well it's ok to do this, because they act different"

i love that all of those people are essentially just asking "why would someone want to make content for kids" as if children's authors, children's TV and Movies, children's doctors, nurses, midwifes, nannies, kindergarten teachers... all just didn't exist. As a parent, I am so sick of hearing other parents complain about things their kids may encounter in life that they'd rather shelter them from because they don't want to TALK to them. They don't want to have an actual conversation with their kids about things in the world so they want the world to reflect their views to make it easier. It's lazy parenting, just raise your kids, teach them things, get to know them. But don't blame the world because they turned out different then your "vision" cuz you weren't there.
My dad does this to me. Blames the world because he didnt parent me correctly. It's sad.

It's crazy to me how the internet hasn't gained ANY empathy since the days of Amanda Todd or Megan Meier. Simply logging off and "ignoring the hate" doesn't solve anything. Up until recently I worked for an LGBTIQA+ youth charity, and honestly, stuff like what's happening to Mol right now is why I left. The work is so important but I had to prioritise my mental health. Social media and news media are both so toxic right now, and the political situation in many countries (including where I live) is getting really nasty. I'm afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better.
(Also, if 26 is old? Then I fear what that would make me in these weirdos' minds...)

It's probably because all of us watching today were also kids. Some of those people grew up hating/being insecure about those years but instead of like, coming to terms with it, they started policing other people and projecting those insecurities. And it gets dangerous because they just start making blanket statements like these. It's really that case of your content left the target demographic.
As a survivor of sexual (and every other type) abuse as a child... Mole is not a Groomer. I believe Mole is/was just trying to put content out there to help other people figure themselves out. Contrary to what that other man said, parents don't talk to kids about sex and sexuality. They just don't. My mom was forced to when one of my younger sisters ran to her screaming about how I was kissing a girl. I'm pansexual, for the record, and I didn't realize this until I was in my 30s.
If I could get a good mic, I would put out content like this, to help educate kids. Not grooming them. I'm 42, and raising my now adult daughter was exhausting enough (≧▽≦) But I think the world needs more education. I'd also like to do game play videos and other IRL stuff. Just need to get a good mic first ( ◜‿◝ )♡

What's worse is if these parents truly cared about children they'd look into the adults physically involved in their kids lives. Yeah there are internet predators for sure but statistics show it's normally someone close to them or their family. I don't think the content is specifically for kids but it may also be helpful to kids that can't talk to their parents or gender identity. Feels like the internet has given the mic to people that really shouldn't have it. I hope the creator recovers. That's gotta be tough 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
If they truly cared about their kids, the children are less likely to even exist in a space where they can be groomed/ would be less likely to "fall" for the grooming.

Agreed the app isn't for kids and there have been lots of studies that show TikTok in particular is bad for kids. If the parents make sure the kiddos arent on the app and engage with their kids regularly they'll know if something off is going on. But yeah there was a teacher at a school I went too and he made ahem "music videos" with his students and other kids and said things like "send your problem sons to me". Some parents didnt care much and welcomed the time away from their kid. Others were like wait no way my kid is going to that. Long story short and he was doing stuff with kids and the videos... With the kids who's parents weren't really involved. And I can't help but wonder if some of the parents that chased out our only out gay teacher had spend a fraction of their energy on that actually talked to their kids and engaged with their lives he could have been stopped sooner.
I will ALWAYS say if your FOUR year old child or child of any age young enough to be that easily influenced is on an electronic with internet on it you should either be right there with them or they shouldn't be online at all. People who say dumb shit like that are just outing themselves as crappy parents. Why the hell is your child under the age of 10 on TIKTOK? Do they not KNOW of the vile shit people put online ?????

People are so busy making enemies out of, falsely accusing, and staring down people like LGBT identifying people to prove that they're evil for not being in line with their old fashioned and harmful standards while people of their own "group" are actively harming innocent people and getting away with it. They don't care about anyone especially not kids, they care about being RIGHT. The world revolves around them and everyone else are background characters.
"don't post videos if you can't handle hate" is usually a good piece of advice for people just starting out. It is normal to get ridiculous or hateful comments once in a while, and it helps to know that and be able to deal with it - it is NOT normal for creators to have people pile onto them, attacking them for their identity and accusing them of literal crimes. People shouldn't have to be able to deal with that, because it shouldn't be happening. It's not just a few trolls leaving a comment once in a while, it's a targeted campaign using right wing rhetoric to ruin the life of someone who is just trying to create a happy, safe space for people.

People have opinions or promote content that a few others don’t agree with, and those others get extremely aggressive about it and otherwise chill people get so swept up in the hunt that they don’t stop to think whether the person receiving it is deserving.

As a nonbinary/ftm I think this kind of content is very important. Everyone needs advice on binders, makeup, how to use your voice, and just knowing there are others out there when you first come out, even if you are 20+ like I was. And doing this content in a "childish" manner makes it feel non-threatening and welcoming.

One of my best friend shared me some stitches of people being mean to Mole, and she was so confused on why people acted this irrationally angry. I looked around and it was so obvious it was just because he is 'cringe'. I told her " people don't like that he is hyper and expressive, they think it's cringe and attack him for that."
Conveniently, in most cases I've seen, the person targeted with those false claims are neurodivergent and/ or part of the LGBTQ+ simply partaking in harmless hobbies like toy collecting or Japanese fashion styles, as some of the alt fashion from Japan can be very colorful, very sweet and/ or based on childhood nostalgia.
Those are some things I noticed happening on tiktok, and as someone who is autistic and part of the LGBTQ+ partaking in some of those " childish" hobbies, it's very scary.

Agreed! I dress alt/japanese "lolita" fashion and my friend tends to dress very goth. The amount of teenaged boys who have harassed us both in public and online is astounding. I feel so bad for mole and in all honesty its disgusting how much gate he's getting

I've seen it the worst for those who are both LGBT+ /and/ neurodivergent, he doesn't have much volume control and seems to do a lot of stimmy things, and NT people see even small unmasked ND behaviors and often seem to read malice into it or even get enraged in a way they seek to justify instead of unpacking it.

Who is going to tell people the ages of the adults who act in kid's shows? He literally brings up blues clues, do you not know how old he was?! The adults from the wiggles? Are we going to go after them?? This stuff really boils my blood because a lot of the younger generation are trying to chase adults out of fandom spaces entirely and it entirely reminds me of that. The guy who created & plays the character of Blippi once uploaded a video of himself standing on a toilet, completely naked, & projectile sh*tting on his friend who is also naked & lying on the floor with his a*s cheeks spread open. It's as disgusting as it sounds & was obviously removed from UA-cam for inappropriate content.
I mean, it's pretty safe to assume that this dude's 4 year old kid isn't watching those videos, but the fact that he's fine with his son watching content made by a cishet man who would even think about doing something like that & uploading it to youtube, yet he's outraged by this trans man's videos that aren't even made for kids (& his son shouldn't be on TikTok anyway as the lower age limit is 13) is ridiculous. & for anyone who makes the argument that maybe the dad isn't aware of Blippi's past, that very well may be true, but if the dad is as concerned as he claims to be about the content his child is watching & the people who create that content then you'd think he'd do a bit of research on the stuff he's letting him watch. As a parent, I think it's so dumb when people blame content creators for the content kids watch. It is true some people do try to target kids, but that's why the parent(s) *need* to be, well, the parent! I’m a regular person with no online following and I have 4 separate stalkers, and because of them I’m terrified of posting anything on any social media because it makes them feel like they have the right to reach out and/or find me in real life. As a trans man who works with children it is people like these accusers that truly scare me. If anybody were to hurt a hair on the heads of the kids I work with I would spare them no mercy! I would never hurt those children! Being able to help them learn, and watching them grow makes me so happy and want to get my early childhood education degree so much faster! But parents are responsible for what their kids watch! Just because content is childish does not mean it is for children!

When I was in middle school I ended up being friends with people who were kinda “cringe” and they were bullied so much. Fuzzz recently came out with a youtube video, and apparently they got fired from their job. Fuzzz is a teacher, for what grade? I don't know. But apparently someone sent the school a thirst trap fuzzz posted. it was old, but honestly if fuzzz is a teacher, they should have deleted that thirst trap, like anyone can see that, even parents.
They were a substitute teacher but still I think teachers should be allowed to have their own lives and not have it always revolved around them being a teacher. They are a teacher during their work time but after that, they shouldn’t still be responsible of other’s kids. Parents need to be more responsible and be involve in what their child watches online. There’s parental control on almost every device so your child shouldn’t stumble upon videos you don’t want to them to see

sigh. i hate it here. i got in mad trouble at a previous job (im an outdoor education teacher) because i exist as a queer adult around kids. the closeted kids who would come to our campus immediately were very interested in talking to me because i look queer/introduce myself with they/them/theirs pronouns, and i am always happy to offer advice, within reason, to kids who want to know anything about what that means. there was a girl in the cabin i was supervising who obviously came from a more conservative family, and she told her parents that i was actually a Cis Man. the local conservative community FLIPPED out and i got a fox news article indirectly speaking about me, my boss, and how trans people are coming for your kids. pissed me off and scared me. my workplace got mad and implemented a whole bunch of transphobic and homophobic policies to cover their ass from this imaginary problem. luckily i've left and found an awesome new job, but it's fucking terrible that people are so afraid of their children learning Anything in the world that might conflict with their narrow world view.

tysm 4 dis video. back in 2021 i was struggling a lot with my identity and was looking into presenting myself more masculine. with that thought in mind, i was scrolling on tiktok one day and came across one of fuzz99s videos that just so happened to be about wearing a binder! it really informed me on the guidelines of wearing one and even answered the question i was too scared to as, “am i old enough to wear one?”. i got one shortly after and despite being more feminine now, i dont regret my gender exploration and im glad positive people such as him were informing others in the community

I've been observing a lot of people nowadays and how they behave, since there is a huge "tsunami" of grooming accusations at the moment. People who call every content creator a groomer, don't actually give a fvk about children and abuse victims. They are USING children as a weapon. If you disagree, they can call you an abuser, an enabler or a nonce supporter, you name it. If someone is actually fighting against abusers, they are 100% aware that they need good evidence, because false accusations can ruin one's life.
Children can not consent or make sound decisions, the Internet idiots noticed that and began to call everyone they dislike a groomer so they can easily get rid of them and say all that "I waz just worried about da kidz!" BS. It's actually HARMFUL TO CHILDREN. When you hear so many false allegations, you finally get sick of them, so when the real threat comes up, you can't even notice it until it's too late. It's similar to the "boy who cried wolf" situation, but a bit different. What can I say is to not believe people as long as they don't have actual evidence. And someone simply being cringe/male/gay/ugly/childish does not count as an evidence. It seems obvious, but a lot of people seem to not know that. Everyone is calling him 'it' on his recent video, what the hell. People never cease to disgust me, and this is just another example. How sad do you have to be to attack someone who you deem to be annoying or cringe? He is literally acting just like everybody was when TikTok just came out. He's not hurting anybody, and he's not controlling who watches his content. A lot of the people watching him and picking on him are clearly adults anyways lol.

The thing is that it's no longer socially acceptable to bully people for being cringe, and they can't do that and also hold onto their self-perceived Moral High Ground of Ethical Superiority. If they can't bully someone for having harmless content that makes them uncomfortable, they've found a way to distort it and say "Look how justified I am in hating this person, because they are hurting children!"

Thank you for doing this. I saw a video criticizing them on another channel a couple months back and when I said that what was happening was wrong I got attacked and told how dare I stand up for a gr00m3r. When I said I saw and heard no proof in the videos the creator used and that proof following such accusations is important I was further trashed. Hurting people for entertainment is wrong and false accusations don't just disappear they haunt people's lives for the remaining years and can haunt the memory of a person. People must remember not only is it important to hold actual monsters to account but to make damn sure you have solid evidence before you destroy an innocent person.

Exactly, I miss that old saying that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Like you don't have to like a person's content but bullying to this extreme is not okay. Let people enjoy things when it doesn't hurt anyone else.
When I see a TikTok or a video that makes me cringe, I stop watching that person's videos and watch something else that brings me joy.
Not to mention half of people being mocked for being "cringe" when I look at cringe compilations is usually just LGBT people, fat people, or neurodiverse people just existing.

Reminds me of an interview Janet Jackson had done back in the 90’s. As an almost 30 yr old women her music started to be more “adult like”, ya know love, sex, heartbreak, etc…… she had someone get made at her because it was not something they thought their young daughter should be listening to. Her response was, “I’m not their parent, you are.” Getting mad at someone for not being PG enough so that parents feel better about their kids liking the content/music/art etc….. Parents need to parent, because I and everyone else shouldn’t be responsible for “correcting” your parenting faux pas. It’s harder to fix and work with an 18 yr old who has had absolutely NO rules teaching them accountability, because eventually they will be that childish 40 yr old that whines and cries for attention.

What people serious gotta understand is that 'cringe' behaviour is often associated with neurodivergency, and if that pisses you off, you gotta reconsider your values and approaches towards other people. Let there be parts of the world that doesn't make sense to you, and let that part of the world do its own thing so long it doesn't actually hurt anyone.
Neurodivergency and LGBT+ stuff often goes hand in hand, making it statistically more likely for an eccentric personality to be LGBT+ on top. Pls, world, just let us be. If you don't wanna put in the effort to understand us, look the other way.
And if you're gonna freak out if your kid proves to be autistic, ADHD, OCD, LGBT+ og any other alphabetic string of letters, you gotta reconsider your parenting, cause your love shouldn't be conditional unless your child ACTUALLY tries to harm you. Something similar to this happened to me on Instagram in the cosplay community. Basically, two of my exes pretended to be my friends until they got so pissed at me that they tried to accuse me of being a p3do, ableist, and biphobic for a bunch of dumb, empty reasons. That shit can drive a person to suicide, and all because I was annoying them and not picking up on social cues. One of them has recently been spreading these rumors again and saying I’m using my autism as an excuse to get away with horrible shit that I never did. It makes you feel so hopeless because no matter what you do, they always win and get to walk away knowing that people see them as heroes for speaking out. Meanwhile, I’ve lost close friends (who understandably cut ties just to be safe and to trust ‘victims’ over me) and cosplay, one of my biggest passions, has basically been ruined for me.

The thing is it's almost a self-report to say Mole would target children with their content since they're using an app that's TOS say it's for ages 13+ (remember kanye being hella mad about North being 11 and on Tik Tok?). It's like when rappers tried to say Lil Nas X made old Town road, knew children liked it and then forced them to listen to his last album about being openly gay...and that's grooming apparently when as Lil nas X points out is on the parents. They know he's a gay man, he's a rapper, it's gonna be sexual and not for kids... I just can not.
As a parent to a teenager who is part of the LGBTQ+ community I am grateful to those who are part of the community and share their experiences because it has helped my own child figure out who they are and be more comfortable with that. Especially when it is someone who is a little older and may have more experiences to share. I also have a 3 year old who isn't allowed on any kind of social media especially tiktok, that place is not for kids! Heck every now and then something comes up on my fyp that isn't stuff I want to see as an adult let alone a child.
I'm genuinely so glad to see people speaking up for mol because the amount of hate and the accusations were getting out of hand. I've seen multiple people say he was trying to make KIDS message him in his DMs by turning off the comments, and referencing a video clearly made for an adult audience as their proof. There's nothing wrong with finding him to be too much, but the great thing about the internet is that you can choose not to watch his videos and even block his account without any kind of repercussion.

It seem the number of people being called groomers or other things is increasing by the day. That's good if there is evidence but it seem like more than a few instances have absolutely not proof to fall back on.

I had tiktok at a young age. As a kid I couldn’t go to my parents out of fear. This person would’ve helped me feel safe a lot.
I'd never heard of him or seen his videos but I quickly looked him up on TikTok & he just seems really sweet, fun, & wholesome. The 'queer people are groomers' narrative that's being pushed by the likes of Ben Shapiro & Matt Walsh has led to these kinds of witch hunts & I fear it's only going to get worse.

I hate how the people who accuse LGBT people of grooming and indoctrination are like "leave it to parents to have that conversation with their kids" will accuse a parent of abuse if they let their kid be themselves. It's important for LGBT lids to have an outlet of discovery and safety because their own parents won't let them.
Bro I completely agree! This was the argument I was having when UA-cam started to no longer allow people to cuss and everything had to be family-friendly because kids were on youtube, yet even though there's an entirely separate app (UA-cam kids) for kids, parents are still too idiotic to monitor their children on the internet and allow them on regular UA-cam then get angry when little Tommy is crying because he saw something traumatic. Being able to not have to censor yourself was something that separated UA-cam from mainstream media, now that uniqueness is no more. I have no idea why parents allow their children on the internet unsupervised, if you don't understand the internet why the fuck would you let your child touch it.
