dude honestly even though Depop has its problems, it seems like for the most part its a good community. there's something refreshing about selling something nice that someone else can enjoy and then taking that money and buying something you enjoy from someone else. i absolutely love watching your content too its so relaxing and i love watching it while making listings or while im at work
maybe doing shop look overs for people that purchase an item from your shop and then dm you? i’d love an excuse to buy something that also allows me to feel like i’m doing something positive for my shop too!
do more of these! youtube is def the right move for this year. been getting a ton of vintage related content in my recommended. your channel will reach a ton of new people :)
You’re so right about the scams Can’t tell you how many times I just didn’t receive a shirt bc the seller just didn’t ship it due to scamming or the listing being old and Depop never helps or protects the buyer It’s the Wild West for sure
I feel you heavy on the kids being so territory at bins even though I'm. 18 and been in the vintage scene for about 3 years but it's getting worse for people younger then me they are so violent and will literally go over the yellow line at the bins to see what is coming just to them argue and say it's there bin idk man but my generation got to step up and be better people.
i was in the thrifting scene circa 2012-2016 or so when i was a younger teen, spent multiple days a week at the thrift store after school. and ive definitely noticed theres now an ingroup and outgroup in THRIFTING. when i started, if you thrifted, you were in the in group. didnt matter if you were thrifting bc its all you could afford, or if you just wanted a super special vintage piece to sell at a local flea market. if you thrifted you were welcome. now theres such a territorial aspect of it, and an in group and out group. not as fun anymore. i feel unwelcome not from staff but from other gen z young adults, they're loud and rowdy, and territorial, anbd they point and laugh at the mentally ill homeless folks who frequent my local shop. its fucked.
You’re so right about the kids being more aggressive this generation and a lot of it being because of covid. My son is in that generation (he’s 19, he’s not aggressive thank god) but, he does feel like he missed out on a lot because of Covid. He talks about his own generation being toxic (not everyone) but alot of them and aggressive! Anyways, Excited for your new ideals (still love the older stuff too). Btw you definitely look in your younger 20’s 😂, that’s a good thing, great genes! Have a great week! Thanks again for another great video❤
I don’t quite remember how I first came across your content-perhaps another UA-camr mentioned you-but I’m an avid enthusiast when it comes to vintage. Love the channel's vibe.
One more thing, you definitely should charge to help people with their shop! There is absolutely nothing wrong with making money from that. It wouldn’t be fair if you did it for free , it’s like people taking advantage of you. lol I think if you can fit it in your schedule you should definitely try it. I sell on a couple other platforms but, want to start a Depop . I would definitely pay you too help me with a few ideal to start 😊
Toronto Canada: Thrifting is no fun. Goodwill has completely bugged out. Value Village, which I believe is Savers in your neck of the woods, is taxing out of control. Almost every time I am in a thrift store, I see Five Finger discounts. I am speaking of aggressive shop lifting where they are filling up duffle bags. Salvation army is such a pig pen. It's nice that the youngins are getting into thrifting but it seems to be impossible to source here
best depop seller been watching ur videos since 2019 and still always so hyped to see a new upload from you lookin forward to see what you do this year keep killin it!!
The thing about the meta glasses are that they shine a light when your are recording making it kinda noticeable ur recording. Only con I feel like. Good for the bins but if it’s a normal thrift store I think workers would start asking questions.
You could do like 2 random Depop look overs a month then if people want to pay for theirs they can, that way you’re not burning yourself out for free, but definitely looking forward to all the content in 2025 and definitely want more thrifting 🔥😁
Love the video per usual! Just a random thought to your twitch stream topic, would you go live on UA-cam? May a different vibe from twitch but at least it’s tying into this channel! Just a thought, keep killing it!
I haven't been thrifting as much because of the y2k kids. They act like they own the racks and get Hella close to me while adjusting their giant pants.
im basically gonna start doing more depop listings and more trip to the thrifts here on youtube since tiktok might be banned here in the states and probably stop using instagram
id argue you look between 27 and 32. my boyf is 30 but has a baby face and is very thin due to gut issues, his beard is what makes him look like 26 instead of 22. you give the same vibes.
I got banned from depop! I listed a Christian Dior tie vintage it was authentic. I emailed them but they wouldn't accept my claim said I needed an original receipt. I'm bummed about it.
there are soooo many unwarranted bans going on right now over depop flagging things as unauthentic. i will for sure be covering this in a future video.
i bought the meta glasses and returned them same day i got them. they only record a max of 3 minutes at a time and have a bright flashing light on them when recording that you can't cover or toggle off. i got the insta360 go 3s with the magnetic pendant and it's sooooo much nicer.. id love to see your opinion on the glasses when you get them!
been seeing a lot of accounts selling band tees on good tags like screen starts n giants etc for really cheap. think someone’s just reprinting grails on good old blanks?🤣
Yoo loveless!! I appreciate your videos as someone whos heavily influenced with the whole thrifting and fashion scene. But I want to get into reselling, I would love to see a video where you can help and share how and where to get clothes to resell and how to shop and properly price them. That would make an awesome video under your channel man. Keep up the goated work 🔥🙏✌🏼

that’s a good idea!
i don't even resell and i'm invested. i like watching your stuff, listening to you etc. hope you get that subscriber award soon!
glad to hear it, thanks for watching :)

Dude I found that same Metallica ride the lightning shirt at my local thrift for $3 last week…was sitting on the end just waiting for me 😅
W loveless!! loved this longer one :) and agreed, the newer younger vintage kids need to learn to be better :/
W jeff ❤️
You’re so right about the scams
Can’t tell you how many times I just didn’t receive a shirt bc the seller just didn’t ship it due to scamming or the listing being old and Depop never helps or protects the buyer
It’s the Wild West for sure
Um depop definitely protects the buyer.. after 14 days you just have to file a refund and you always get it via proof
@ they’ve never helped me 10+ times it’s a gamble for me buying in there. At least I know there’s good sellers like our boy
The arcteryx scene on Depop is so bad rn. So many fakes man

It’s getting out of hand here in the states as well
best depop seller been watching ur videos since 2019 and still always so hyped to see a new upload from you lookin forward to see what you do this year keep killin it!!
you’re the goat for that 🫂❤️
Love all your ideas for 2025!🎉❤ Excited for you in the new year!🎉❤
Im here for the stand and fold chat videos😊

makes sense, i wouldn’t use them to film many interactions. just my pov while looking through stuff haha

I haven't been thrifting as much because of the y2k kids. They act like they own the racks and get Hella close to me while adjusting their giant pants.

I was gonna cop the metas too but I thought they only recorded vertically

hmm interesting! i’ll see how i like them when i get them in. i didn’t know there were other options like that!
been seeing a lot of accounts selling band tees on good tags like screen starts n giants etc for really cheap. think someone’s just reprinting grails on good old blanks?🤣
the fake market is insane now. i should do a video covering it 🤔
sick t-hsirt
Hi 👋 new subscriber.
Seriously, it’s used clothing, not a birth right. 🤦🏼♀️🗿
You should see if your your gf wants to be in some of your videos , unless it’s not her thing 😊🙏
Yoo loveless!! I appreciate your videos as someone whos heavily influenced with the whole thrifting and fashion scene. one thing i personally cant stand is when some dumb ass tries to off the back and keeps at it after saying no.
not the off the back kids 😭
First 😊
