Hi :) I just got a leap motion controller. I installed and tried every version of the leap motion controller software, installed a graphic driver for Geforce experience on my windows 10. I get my hand tracked in the diagnostic visualizer in leap motion controller app, but when I come over vseeface it doesn't work. I also separated the leap motion controller's driver to universal serial bus controllers driver. it still can't detect the leap motion controller on the graphic driver somehow! I'll be very thankful if you help me :)
I have seen a few comments from people whose models do not track their hands at all. I'm currently on the latest VSeeFace (1.13.37c) and using Leap Motion software v5.3.1 and was having the same problem. It turns out that VSeeFace won't track hands if you don't have fully mapped Left/Right hand bones. My model only had the Proximal bones (first bone from the wrist) because paws. To fix this, I just went into Blender and added two new bones to each finger: (EG: I extruded from Index_Proximal_L to make Index_Medial_L and Index_Distal_L). Once that was done, I exported to an FBX file and took it into Unity to fix the mappings in the model import settings to add the new bones. After exporting to a VRM and loading up in VSeeFace, the model is now moving its hands when I interact with the Leap Motion controller. (I realize this is a lot for people who aren't into doing model work, but you can probably google for how to add bones in Blender and configuring bone mappings/converting to VRM or talk to your model maker to let them know what needs fixed). Hope this is helpful. Took me like an hour of fighting with it and thinking it was broken before I loaded up a different VRM and it worked fine. :D

I need a bit of help, my model is not moving even though my tracker can see my hands. it makes the bone shapes like its tracking hand movement but my model's hands are still at her sides. can anyone help me? (using vseeface) EDIT: i now have a new issue. the control panel keeps trying to open my steamvr and i already have it set up for my vive and i thought the control panel would be something that wasnt using a third party program. can someone please help me?
I cant even get it to move the arms at all no matter what ive tried I dont know what to do, I cant seem to uninstall VSeeface to install ultraleap first then vseeface no matter how many methods i try im blocked at the last step and im unable to uninstall it could you help with that?
I’m wondering if it could be used to help add hand motion to a full body mocap for FBX export elsewhere like onto Blender or Unreal Engine. Would be awesome if so.
yeay yeay it's here but I just don't get it should I stand while using it how is the range work ? this is the thing I still don't get it ! sometime when I am far from leap motion it catch me when I got closer it lost track how do you place your leap ? front of you ?
I found that keeping the camera on your body causes the motions to be a bit more shaky, and if you turn left and right but keep your arms forward it still moves the avatar. could be good or not depending on what you're looking for. I added a mount from above and it seems to work great when it's stationary in one spot but also gets your whole workspace in the cam view. also be aware of the lighting in your room.

@@hidden7235 nope. I don't use it anymore. It was a waste of money spent too much time trying to configure. So I just have the head motion and mouth. No need to use my hands since I'm using it for pc gaming and not chatting like others do.
Mine's set to chest & pointing at me, but my hands turn to jell blobs every time I move my fingers & my elbows never bend. Got the latest VSF & LM, had 2 computers with this issue. Why doesn't mine ever work like yours? Do I need the Unity plug-in?
i just bought this leap motion. it works good with VSeeFace. which is my number 1 reason to buy. But unfortunately all the game in leap air apps can't play with V4 SDK update version.
I'm assuming you're using a Vroid model, my question is how are you getting your avatar to bend his elbows? I messed around with the visualizer and it doesn't show leap motion adding "Bones" passed your forearm.
Anyone know how to unpause tracking without having to restart pc? Everytime I disconnect the cable and what not it says tracking has paused. The only thing ive been able to try to do is the bottom right of my pc i find the icon and right click and it says "Resume tracking" but it still does nothing.
