Morry Alter visits the Fulton Fish Market in 2005-it's last year in the South Street Seaport. It's now located in a new facility in the Bronx, NY. Sad to say goodbye to this historic location, but shoppers won't miss the fish smell! Air date 10/18/05, WCBS. Edited by Jessica Somers (me).

I remember the fish market of 50 years ago. Sloppy Louie's, there was an old shop filled with nautical items, the smell of it, the fish mongers. yes. it was mobbed up. Sad part is that now that it has been "sanitized" and the old businesses gone, it's like visiting a mall in anytown USA. I miss it and thank you for posting this
