Hey I love the fact the Ignition starts at 4:27 into the video like a 427 cu in engine. You guys really made the best Cobra video I've ever seen online.
4:26 I've seen those six switches on Ikarus & Optare bus dashboards, even a few T8 Van Hool coaches I've driven. They actually don't look out of place in this
A if i was Stuart i want to chin him 2 MIke!!!! pipe down so i can hear that engine, i know you're excited, we all are. 4 Thanks Mike & Stu for solidifying what i already thought i wanted out of life ;D C Thing of beauty :O
If you watch the whole episode - youll see that the tyres werent fitted ABSOLUTELY correctly. The dots on the sidewall of tyres indicates the heavy piont of the reunforcement section of the bead - and the tyre should ideally be fitted to the rim with the valve opposite the bead joint dot..
Nope. The dot on the tire should be lined up with the valve stem. That puts the heavy point of the tire on the lightest part of the rim, which allows less lead to be added to the rim for balance. Sometimes the wheels can be run with no lead, but if you take them in for balancing, the technician will throw lead on anyway. He won't want to tell you that you just paid for balancing, but no balancing was needed.

Wow. A Chevy V8 in a Cobra replica? Maybe if that’s what you had laying around. I’m sure it’s fun to drive but that doesn’t excuse the transgression. I guess if I had the same setup I’d drive it like that on EVERY ERRAND. Wait, I have a Dodge Magnum and I do that anyway. Well. Not like that.
@@rockytalkndawoods3057 The most common engines put in these self built kits are Chevy small blocks, usually a 350. Same holds true for the 32 ford deuce
That's me. I chose to come down through here and see some of the comments, But, I didn't even watch any more Of the video once I saw it had a chevy engine in it.
The Chevy engines are much more available, much cheaper, parts are easier to get and it does a decent job of emulating a ford engine. If you care about originality you'd go for a ford, but if you care just about the experience, the Chevy engine makes the most financial sense
HMMMM WHY IS THE NUMBER PLATE DIFFERANT ON THE SOLD CAR ,,, DID YOU SELL THE NUMBER PLATE MIKE , IT WAS WORTH A BOMB ,,, ACC 809A AS OPPOSED TO THE NUMBER PLATE YOU SOLD THE CAR ON ON WHEELER DEALERS, ,,, NAUGHTY BOY ,, OR WAS THAT THE NEW NUMBER PLATE FROM THE DVLA? IF SO WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OLD NUMBER PLATE????
Thank you brits for giving us a beauty to shoehorn our engine in
Team work makes the Dream work ;D
Don't forget the ac ace and aceca.
I lived in Hampton Court walking distance from AC in Thames Ditton

Mike Brewer... what an exciting person
he lifts up people's spirits
I bought myself a Cobra 2 years ago..... and I drive it just like that, every chance I get!
Bangin' Gears originals tend to be veryyy expensive, so is it a replica? If it’s real then fair play.
@@ravenousbane3617 yes it's a Factory Five Replica
Wow u must get alotta girls!
I'm going to Buy a Cobra replica any advice on who makes a good job of it and what's the best engine of choice 🤔

4:48 listen to this !! 😍😍😍
Mike you done us Cobra Bois proud
@5:25 This is me dropping my mother in law off at the airport after a long visit!!
Drive it like you stole it and steer from the rear love it
Where is this car now.
MOT records show it hasnt been tested since 2011
I love Chevy small block engines
But the Cobra needs a Ford 427 engine!!
I can't argue with that. I love big block chevy but the car's original 427 ford engine and its sound are the essence of that car.
Its not a Cobra. Its a replica so doesn't really matter
632 chevy for me thanks 😊
Mk1 260 (4.2) then 4.7 mk2 then mk3 427
Is it just me or does this replica have some weird proprtions? The body is too long and too low.
Absolute sacrilege putting a Chevy in this car!
Haha now that's a getaway be fun to have on a sunny day
This car is forsale see it the other day 36900 big mark up on that
A if i was Stuart i want to chin him

I wouldent abuse a car like that on T -drive. Just sayin..

As he is determined to flat spot the tyres (5:26) we can only assume that they will be replaced ???
Nice but you dont put a chevy engine in a Cobra
Meh....needs FERD ENGINE. That's right, a damn FERD!
You bought that for 17.500$ ?
*Who lets someone Test drive their car like that ??...What if he Spun a Rod or wrecked it???*
It was probably edited to look like he hadn't bought it yet; this was probably after the deal was made.
If he did that test driving a car of mine before buying he'd end up in A&E

Seams sacrilege to have a bowtie in a cobra. I think it's an english thing because in America you couldn't sell it for the parts.
