Love the new unit! My husband(along with his brother and a couple things he hired out) just built me a 16x20 metal building on our property for my eBay stuff. Had to do something because it was overtaking our house 😳 It’s almost complete & I can’t wait to get all the stuff moved in there ! 😊

I had alot of cardboard from a storage unit I won and been wrapping my books with the cardboard and in a poly mailer, so far zero complains and lots of positive feedbacks .
To find the lost Roku piece: you gotta pray to Saint Anthony. He's the finder of lost things. You say your prayer and then, "Tony, Tony, turn around. Something's lost and must be found!" Saint Joseph is good but not necessarily at finding stuff. ❤

Walmart selves were empty today. I was shocked! Glad your're taking the ceramic tree home to add to your collection. Think that's the one I wanted, but couldn't swing last year. Thought it had maybe sold. Great ideas! You certainly deserve a nice get away. Do check the weather, it seems kinda strange. Put a bottle of dawn in the vehicle with you where it can be reached. This literally saved us once when a truck passed and splashed oil and trash up on the windshield blinding us. Regular windshield washer & wipers wouldn't touch it. Have fun and great picking. Cat
For a great thrift shop in Northern Florida, go to Betty Griffin in St Augustine out on Anastasia Island! It's the best and all for an amazing cause. I used to live near it and furnished our home. We could see their donation area from my driveway.
Great video -- I love organization too. Clear containers is a great idea too and flipping the empty ones over -- love it. I remember when you did NOT do custom labeling and Julian said he knew where every item was in the room -- those were the days LOL Kayla you are a GREAT addition to the business. I bet you were a great nurse.

USPS searched my package once as I was mailing it. I've mailed hundreds of books, and that has only happened once. Dude claimed the system randomly told him to check it. Another worker I told the story to wasn't buying the "randomness" of it- said she's been working there for years and never had they system "randomly" tell her to check a package. Regardless, I'm an honest person so it was just a book. The postal employee almost looked disappointed as he opened it and said, "Oh, it's just a book." I said, "Yeah, just like I said." (he had actually asked what was in the box when I said to send it media mail)

I concur with the other commenter who suggested thrifting in the Melbourne area or Central Florida. We vacationed near The Villages and there were a bunch of thrift and antique stores in the area. Do a search on your map app and there will be PLENTY of choices.

Florida thrifting can be expensive but we live in Ocala (Central Florida) near Dunnellon and there are a few left that are worth it! Divine Providence Ministries has clothes for 5 cents, jeans for 25 cents (as long as it's not boutique) and other good deals but it's cash only...brothers keepers, habitat for humanity and sheriffs ranches are our other faves but sheriffs has gotten more expensive lately so it's harder to find anything...There's a Sheriffs in Northern Florida (Live Oak) and last we were there it was still decently priced...if you go toward tampa (expensive) red white and blue thrift has great sales and is really big...we like to pick a destination a few hours away and then search for thrifts along the way :) Springhill and Orlando also have some decent stores and decent prices...good luck!

Webster Florida has a huge flea market. If you decide to go further south, there is a huge flea market (called the Ft Lauderdale Swap Shop) right off of I-95, on Sunrise Blvd, in (northern) Ft Lauderdale (the "garage sale" stuff is sold on Thursday = cheap prices).
Light house ministry is a great place to thrift on Saturday...reduced prices and anything 70% off is .50 cents😊

It seems so much bigger because it is MORE THAN TWICE the space. A 10 x 10 space is just 100 ft.² but 15 x 15 is 225 ft.² And for just $25 more per month, you scored big time!
I have a love/hate relationship with using storage units for inventory. It's almost better to purchase something and make monthly payments, than lost money on storage rentals. Mine seems to always get filled up with stuff that I don't feel like listing (death pile), which never meets the cost of the monthly rental fee.

So my friend that has the vendor market where I have my booth has a huge yard sale at her own house once a quarter to clear out her personal inventory, and she marks everything at $1. Now, she doesn't put her higher end items in it but it makes TONS of money and clears up lots of space for new inventory. Just an idea for you guys if you need to clear out some slower selling stuff.. And I would love Kayla to come organize my booth lol. And just an update, I will be getting the bigger booth we commented about earlier, just have to wait for the space to come available at the end of December 😁

Hey guys and Kayla, i just bought something off Ebay. When i went to purchase Ebay showed me more from other sellers cheaper. Is this happening as me too being a reseller?
Doing the math, and assuming an 8' ceiling, 10'x10'x8' = 800 cubic feet. 15'x15'x8' = 1800 cubic feet, more than twice as much storage space!

depends on the post office, real busy post office rarely inspects media mail even though they are suppose to do at least 1 out of x amount. But if you get a slower post office they tend to check more, they have the time. Or if you use a very small very slow post office in a small town down the street from you like me that is barely keeping their doors open they check every media mail that goes out and if it isn't stamped it was checked coming in , they will. The post office worker claims it is mainly 7 ebay sellers that are keeping that post office open and i am one of them and he thanks me quite often for it. so that little post office tries to make sure to catch thieves that are abusing the system and show that they are earning their wages here. so many of the little towns around us closed their post offices.
i always leave my boxes open because i know it will be checked. after he checks it at the office i can seal it up and it is packed my way. otherwise i have seen him open up other media mail and take the packing materials out and throw it away and have the item loose in the box so i like to do the sealing myself. only additional thing would be they do add a letter inside letting the buyers know it was inspected and they will put a stamp on the outside letting all the other post offices know it was inspected already so they don't need to spot check that one.
if it is caught at the shipping post office it goes back to the seller for insufficient funds but if it is at the final post office then it gets finished ship but with postage due on it.
for a little post office he does catch quite a few people that try cheating by shipping media mail when it does not qualify. i did notice the other day that there is another list just inside the window but out of customer view that had a list of about 8-12 names on it and it read open all packages sent by these people so they must try shipping things they shouldn't be or not declaring properly what they are shipping?

Why would usps care about media mail? I don’t get why they would be so interested in books and magazines of all things...
Anything with advertising cannot be sent by media mail. The post office wants to make sure things like magazines are not being sent by media mail.
People will try to use Media Mail for non-eligible items to get the cheaper rate so the post office will open anything suspicious. MM is the cheapest way per ounce/pound to ship a package but it’s restricted to very specific items.

USPS has gotten worse.. i had 3 destroyed packages last month!
Usps lost two bills I paid ,& sent out in the mail . now I m stuck paying more because of the darn post office.

Did the USPS have a warrant to open the mail? If not, they violated the 4th Amendment for illegal search and seizure.
100 percent within their right to search and package they deemed suspicious or potentially dangerous fradulant. This has been the law for well over 100 years. If they suspect potential fraud they may search the package without a warrant. This is all outlined in the USPS Domestic mail manual. Since you gave them the package you allow them to search it. They are not coming into your home or car.
According to what I've been told, they don't need a warrant to open media mail as it is considered legally "not sealed against postal inspection" and when you declare it media mail you are deemed to automatically agree to inspection in accordance with standards in the Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM), Section 170. Media Mail packages must have a delivery address and the sender’s return address and are subject to inspection by the Postal Service™. Upon such inspection, matter not eligible for the Media Mail rate may be assessed at the proper price and sent to the recipient postage due, or the sender may be contacted for additional postage.
I’m sad that you never responded to my eBay message with the purse I purchased, as I asked for you to ship to my P.O. Box vs physical. I wanted to repurchase but you never responded back. 😢😢
I personally only ship to the address on the order. If a customer asked me to ship to a different address I usually cancel the order.
@ I have both my physical and P.O. Box in my profile, some sellers use fed ex and ups while others use usps. I had ordered Ann item that required physical address shipment so I had “changed” my deliver address for that item and failed to change it before I placed my next order. I reached out before the item I purchased shipped. They agreed to use my mailing address. But then shipped it via usps to my physical where the usps doesn’t deliver to. I don’t have a box outside my driveway. They cancelled as it went back to them but offered to repurchase. And left me with crickets! That’s my logic for my comment. Fyi

USPS Stole my package value of 3K i insured it and they don't want to pay me im still fighting the package left my home town 9/3/24 was scanned in Omaha 9/4/24 and the package disappear.......they stole.....
