I've swapped a complete toilet myself in a regular bathroom. Can't imagine doing it in that tiny closet.. Well done Pete! Well done Deb for not heaving!
Yes, classic Amel feature. Although it took a few cracks of the head in the beginning to remember to slide the top cover back after dropping the door on our way out 🤦🏻♀️
Thanks so much for tuning in and glad we are doing something of interest. We really appreciate having you along on our journey and are always looking to learn from other sailors like yourself 👍🏻⛵️😊
I like the short intro, very 'newsworthy'. That sure was a stinky job, we could smell it 3500miles away 😂 Looking forward to seeing what other jobs you tackle 😊
Thanks guys! Funny how you do a job like this and think “great, that’s done!”, and then start using all your nice new set up and realize tweaks are still needed 😉. We’re learning it’s an iterative process, and I’m sure you experienced cruisers already know this 😂
Hi there - it’s 60 litres. When we bought her there was a 80 litre tank in the V-berth (with expensive macerator pump) but it didn’t work/empty properly. We had the new one installed and it empties by gravity and works great. Also a “pump out” connection installed on deck which was a requirement for sailing in Turkey last year 😊

Thanks Cynthia - we hope we won’t be doing that again for a very long time, if ever! Hope you’re new bathroom came out as you wanted 😊
Love the companionway door countersinks in the frame. No figuring where to store boards

Just caught your channel and glad I did, enjoying it very much. Very natural great coverage thank you and look forward to following you in the future.

Gutted not to see Pete heaving!!
You’re funny. Apparently his own poop is nowhere near as toxic to the nose as a bit of puppy poop! 😂
Need to install holding tank. What size is it? Wondering if position of tank would improve pump out capabilities
