I've had some absolutely AMAZING Lifeweavers in my games. The thing is, people don't play him and the people who do are absolutely goated with him. Yes, you still get a troll every once in a while but that can happen with any hero.

I am a almost level 70 Life Weaver and absolutely enjoy his kit. I absolutely love the buffs. It allows me to be in the team fight more and makes it easier to decide to damage. The petal changes are a blessing and a curse. Love being able to have it reset to give multiple teammates high ground without everyone needing to hop on at the right time however riens and Zarias have gotten smart and learned they can take my petals too. Got to be aware of where my petal's placed and where the enemy team is at. Granted I'm a gold player but these are basically the exact changes I've been asking for. Just because Life isn't popular doesn't mean no one mains him. He's very technical with a lot of skill expressions. Add that plus not everyone no one knows when a pull was good because the fight was 75% to 25% in the enemy favor or that some times I use it to get you out of the middle of the open because everything you are doing can be done behind this wall. But that's just metal ranks. I'm sure it's a little different as you climb. Just note if there is a life on your team if you get to 25hp for Squishies and 125hp for tanks odds are you are getting pull especially if you in the middle of the enemy. It's just too risky to see if you live or die when we can chill for half a second and get healed to go back in.
No mention of Junkrat being able to combo Echo and Pharah finally as well as the other 225hp heroes. Already noticed a difference after a few games, I love it!
My thoughts too, but it's not like it matters rn. If teams stick together or if you just have a juno, your other support won't die, unless the juno is distracted or has the reaction time of internet explorer. You basically have to have near perfect aim to be able to kill someone through juno heals.
True, but right now, Sombra is terribly bad, even if no one asked for her buff, she is terrible, even if she's soo annoying, she's easy to counter, you just need a good traction time. As an ex Sombra player, I can tell you how hard it is to play her and to be useful
True. It is a mental buff. However with many heroes getting health nerfed (reaper didn’t), it makes those heroes easier to kill. The amount of times I got killed last season when the hero had less than 25 health was insane.
I was unsure if Hanzo really deserved a spot over other DPS heroes since I feel like a lot of the hitscan DPS got their own breakpoint buffs against the 225 hp heroes, without losing hp themselves. But since you then made a spot for all the hitscan DPS in one I couldn't really complain anymore.
Im unsure why we are taking Sombra even further into the category of "if you hit your virus, stuff can die. If you miss your virus, you do nothing". I would rather die to good tracking from her smg than because she ran right behind me and shotgunned a virus at a distance she can't possibly miss from and it did most of the work.
She also cant take as much damage so she will most likely die way too fast from other stuff. I would have rather given her a smg buff rather then virus since to get the kost from virus you have to hack more often which for newer players and some average players its way to risky personally i would like to see a revert to these changes since with the lack of damage means some heros are tankier to not die to her a quick and she wont just explode instantly however to compinsate i would nerf her smg to make it fair
- Make virus stop you from using abilities - make hack do damage overtime instead and un-stealth you - make it so you can't go into stealth whilst hack is dealing damage and for 2 seconds after
I think as ball players our sombra match up actually got slightly easier. She's more killable and none of the buffs really do much against ball. Still sucks having to play into her more though
The new style of the last videos have been amazing. As a LW enjoyer these changes comes great, i really dont care about the healing changes, the one i really likef was the petal one, cause now it don go to waste. And i dont know why, but I've been struggling against Dva more but only in clash mode, dunno if its something on that mode or what.
I don't think Hanzo is a winner this patch at all. He feels absolutely awful at 225 HP, losing decidedly to enemy hitscans, and with often no available counterplay to tanks that so much as look in his direction. Sombra and Echo are melting him before he can even fully charge an arrow, and most of the 225HP supports are too small and squirrelly to reliably shoot.
That was definitely my experience using her yesterday. Hadn't played her in a month. It just went to smoothly. One clipping heroes way more frequently than before.
Surprised pharah isnt on here since the 225hp was considered a heavy nerf for her but now a ton of other heros in the same boat not only brings back her 2 shot but also makes them a lot easier to elim with phara spam, especially since dva cant counter her spam as hard with the matric nerf
I think the changes to Lifeweaver's blossom are (intentionally) over-tuned right now in order to spike up players maining him and we will see either a reduction to the passive charging rate _or_ see a cap on how high it can charge passively midseason. While I personally would prefer the passive charge rate to be directly tied to thorn volley, I suspect that is not a playstyle the dev team wants to promote for Lifeweaver just yet, maybe something later down the road.

I always play monke☺️. My favorite dps (Hanzo) finally gets a little back after that tough blow of losing his one shot headshot-AS A SNIPER CHARACTER. Not 100% back, but better.
Sombra just is so annoying my group of friends just quit playing for the day because the opposite team had no good players but sombra and we lost because of her because they were a sombra main who knew how to actually use her.

Like reaper still has 300 health, life steal and a get out of jail free card so essentially he can just walk on you as hanzo. Even if you hit a head shot, as long as he's shooting you his life steal makes it so you can get the follow up then he gets healed and you die. Also it counterwatch, as soon as you hit a saucy flik on a a 225 as hanzo, there swaping reaper and walking on you. wasn't getting value of crit hits as much as just finishing kills with body shots; body shoots have been way more viable since they nerfed his projectile speed along time ago, but this, this is not a buff man. I did placements on an old account from overwatch 1 where I was high diamond, low masters, peak gm hanzo sweatlord that would tee-up a cheating xim key and mouse players hitscsnning on ashe, widow ; I know rank reset ect. But I couldn't get him to work against gold and silver players currently cause there so tanky. 46% weapon accuracy and high damage its just they high health pool characters do not die and tanks still has so much health a damage output losing health is detrimental. I think console players are much less skilled and often play more aggressive, borderline suicidal. Playing hanzo now feels similar to zen in the past, players just kamikaze you and there's often no punishment for that overextention. For years I was able to dominate low elo lobbies on hanzo now its an extreme challenge and if I mained him I believe I would be stuck in gold forever on this account.
Kiriko is a big winner too She can two shots 225hp heroes (it's back!) And she does +50% more damage on body, yes 50%! Mercy, Hanzo and Sombra winners? they just take two shots 😎 While flanking, -25hp is not a big deal since she teleports instantly when seen anyway
Mate she still dominates DPS heroes like it's nothing. Got so sick of tanks being the deciding factor in games I decided to play tank which I never do. In a QP match I dropped 60 kills and 1 death on DVA and had 10x more fun than trying to play a hard hero like tracer.
Till this day, I will never understand why they gave Sombra a damage over time ability. It definitely does not belong in the 5v5 format and like so many other changes in the game, it's too much value at little to no effort. The buff was completely unnecessary and I strongly believe their thought of making the game "fun" is removing skill so it's easier to play.
@@andrewmasc3174 Impact damage is a crit when used on hacked targets, before it went from 25 to 50 and now it goes from 35 to 70 which is a lot stronger EDIT: Before nerfed health hack+virus targets would be left with 110 HP, now with nerfed health and buffed virus it's 65
I have a very weird take on Sombra. I think the 25 less health hurts her more than it hurts any other DPS. I'm sure its just a relearning moment for them right now, but at the moment Sombras seem to be dying more frequently. I'm putting it down to poor target picking in my skill bracket as they may have been focusing 250hp heroes instead of the 225s, but thinking anecdotally to last season, the pain point with Sombra was the frequency at which she would escape with less than 50 health. Sure, this is the learning point I mentioned, they need to bolt earlier into their attacks now, which in turn is a buff for people she is attacking as her spending less time engaged with the backline means she leaves whilst doing less damage _and_ you spend less time distracted by her per engagement and this might even be the justification behind the virus change. I think she, just like Lifeweaver, will probably see the most balancing changes mid-season. I think the virus damage might get reverted, stealth speed bonus reduced from 60 to 55 (and then to 50 for season 13) and an increased throw distance and duration for translocator because having her designed with small windows of high killrate in addition to being so easy to kill is going to make her very unenjoyable to play and play against. Forcing her to disengage from backline earlier is the only good part of her changes.

I have Feedback: - I love the concept of the video and the logic of explaining why X or Y hero is better now or is a winner. - I would recommend the fun and enjoyability comments on each hero to be left to personal preference or to be more emphasized that is your own personal or to the enjoyers of such heroes. I say that because there losers and winners obviously and if my character is useless (to my perception) because of this character that now is a winner it makes me not happy, or simply because people will say stupid things like "chill", I obviously don't think that, but i think avoiding that would make it easier for the longevity. Keep it up, nice video!

Genji is such a loser this season. I love genji and play him relentlessly, but so many supports are insanely mobile and it's incredibly easy to peel for them before genji can even get his value. I'm fine with grnji being c tier or b tier but currently he feels unbelievably bad to play like Low D tier or F tier. #buffgenji
The changes in seasson 9 really hurt her, after the health rework and the dps passive, her healing became useless and the damage boost breakpoints were awful. And we need to remember that in seasson 9 all the projectiles of the game got buffed, so mercy got more vulnerable against every hero of the game since her movement got worst and worst since seasson 3
Why tf are we buffing sombra? Literally the most annoying character to have been developed. Maybe even worse than at launch brig. Lets make a character that is invisible, takes away the purpose of overwatch (abilities), and has an almost guaranteed one shot? Wow what a great idea

You can precharge lifeweavers heal now if you switch to his damage without letting go of the heal button

I noticed a huge diference when playing reaper. Really easy to kill some targets. (NO, ITS NOT THE MYTHIC EFFECT ON MY MIND)
If you manage your cool down on DVA I think the change won't be as bad as people are claiming.
