My first trial was at Horncliffe quarry back in 1980 as a 17yr old, i rode there, did the trial (well, in a fashion) and rode back home on my Honda TL125s .... Happy memories!
Danny, don’t listen to people that make negative comments like the previous one, any reasonable person knows you are not beating up the beta brand it’s a ridiculous comment to make; particularly when you went out of the way to legitimise why you were doing what you were in an honest explanation. I think your show is a breath of fresh air and I look out for it every week now. You are a natural presenter and have the trials experience with the right balance of humour to carry it off. Adding improvements and bling is part of the trials. I have had two factory betas and have learned something advantageous today about pegs and the clutch I didn’t know before. The things you are focusing on are the essence of the trials and imho you have got it right. There are hecklers to be found on any street corner, ignore them and carry on.
Hi Robert, thank you for this incredible comment and taking the time to support the channel. It means a lot! I always answer the haters, it’s fun and I have had years of people giving me jip at the railings riding shows on the push bike so to me it’s water off a ducks back... I always just present them with the choice, that if they think they can do better then I am happy to critique their work also? I really enjoy promoting trials and the sports essence and purity. It’s given me so much happiness throughout my life so why wouldn’t I help it grow. I will keep trying my best and thank you again for your time and support!
I practiced every day for about 6 months and thought I was pretty good so I started clubman and expected to piss it in. My very first trial taught me how little I know. Most sections had off camber turns on golf ball size gravel. I was humbled very quick.
interesting movie. but gets full of laughter when you say it gets a little cold 😂😂 live in Sweden so it can get cold here 👍👍 but very very good film and tips thank you very much 👍👍🇸🇪

Hi Danny You do really excellent videos with very good subjects. I have a recommendation for a future video. Please cover suspension and suspension set up (not just replacing shock or forks). It would be even beneficial if you could bring in some one with expert skills on the subject, most people here (in the US) don’t have the first idea about setup. I have a copy of an article that is no longer on the inter webs that was done several years back that is the only in-depth article specific to trials. This would be a good reference starting point for you.
Get in touch with Andy Kelly top guy and will help you out but remember he makes all these by hand so dont think it will be next day service but defo worth the wait trust me.
This has just got me through a 30 min treadmill session so cheers Danny....loving the episodes and the longer version is even better. I definitely feel I dropped a bollock buying an enduro and not a trials and your channel is reaffirming this!!!! Booked in at trialsday with Stu on 12th May so I’m sure the enduro will be on marketplace that night 🙄 Keep up the good work mate 👊 P.S is everyone in trials as camp as you portray when moaning about changing original parts 🤣🤣
How about you add a kickstart to the correct side of the bike. Or even better stick a Honda 4 stroke engine in it then swap the frame out for a nice aluminium one from Honda. Then you could chuck in some Showa forks and shock in it Now that would make many clubmen happy for many years 😘😁 love the channel keep it up.
@@TrialTube yes!!!! As most clubmen (myself included) could offset the weight by staying out of the pub at the weekend 😀 so I reckon I’ve got at least 27 years before the weight of my bike makes a difference.

good vid again Danny lots of info can't wait for the TRS review . i think Beta need to give more upgraded parts and stop living off the good clubman bike claim . A lot of manufacturers give these as standard for the same price , just a thought
