love this band, listening to it makes me feel like a kid again, my parents used to listen this kind of music back then. Very nostalgic feeling. I listen to this when I go to sleep sometimes
I feel the same way about SOME clean vocals. It's too much angst, like a pissy teenager. It really turns me off, like immediately. Some clean vocals that I really enjoy: Plague Bringer ua-cam.com/video/0UTXrcXQkxU/v-deo.html (29:55) Slugdge ua-cam.com/video/5nNUXLnW9oU/v-deo.html
Cleans aren't great on this but I do normally like cleans just to break the monotony of screams. It's part of the reason I don't like deathcore. I get bored of the same vocals over the same blast beat every time. Plus a clean chorus is just easier to remember for me making the song more memorable
I know what you mean on that certain sounding clean vocal. I think it’s the fact that most bands that employ them try to hit those high notes and it just doesn’t quite mesh with what’s going on the rest of the song. I think that’s why I didn’t mind Phil’s on the latest Whitechapel album because he stayed within his range.
Can't believe I never thought to recommend this one, a phenomenal album!
Fuckn epic
Fantastic 🤘🤘🤘 i realy liked this 🤘🤘🤘

Thanks Jake!
Man I haven't heard the name Diminish The Gods in years, I'm friends with their former guitarist Roy A.
