IMO, the tutorial isn't the best. I've seen lots of youtubers missing the mutants in the tutorial AND their first enclosure because they didn't spend enough time with the animals( didn't collect all the poop, all their blood, etc). The tutorial for the animal part is just so bad xd

The game could have been so amazing I wish it was more like a several nights kind of play style where you keep the animals healthy and due to limited supplies you eventually can't and the sick ones end up mutating so you either have to take them out or maintain them calm with meat And the meats could have been different characters who could give a different story line if/when you decide to not grind people for meat Just my feelings on the game play loop
Storyline sucks as much as the dialogue. It has mixed reviews and most people disliked it and found it tedious, so bad and annoying gameplay loop. It's not well-made, it's a fuckfest of bugs and dodgy development down to the character writing. At least these models are good.

If you choose the save the humans instead and shoot the animals, the humans will eventually find outside forces to help you defeat the Mother and the zoo. something like that.

Sadly they had a pretty bad launch so I'm not sure it'll be worthwhile to invest any further into the game. I can certainly see why given the poor story and bugs, as well as the sub-par gameplay. But if they put more work into it, a sort of 2.0 that fixes a lot of the issues and changes how you deal with infected animals would be great.
That’s what I was just thinking!! I was like, yes, the models are impressive and I am happy about the _concept_ of being able to save even the infected animals, but I just don’t know how logically some of them are supposed to come back from this. The hippo, the moose, AND zebra are literally missing half, if not all, of their face!
You know I was just asking myself that, I also asked how the hell did a parasite caused such wild mutations. The creators probably should have went with a paranormal explanation, that would probably make more sense with extreme the body horror is and the animal's ability to just perfectly revert back into a regular looking animal despite the fact that not too long ago they were looking like a reanimated corpse.
Zoochosis was so much wasted pontential. Monsters looked fantastic, setting and idea were fresh and unique, and the creators just...executed it so poorly.
i hope that with time they patch and/or update the game to make it better. this game had the COOLEST idea but due to stuff going on behind the scenes it just.. came out undercooked. im giving the developers the benefit of the doubt, but i sincerely hope this game gets better with time. please, zoochosis, pull a no mans sky 🙏
To be honest, even though it is stated in the game that meat can calm the mutants, but if you look at their mutations, it seems like their physical can't be saved anymore. But after they were given meat and calm down, why did their physical condition also return to normal? 😅😅
