NEW PSR--SX KEYBOARDS ... WHEN?
Question is, what improvements? As long S-Art2 is exclusive in the top class, a new PSR SX wouldn't make any sense.
Keep your PSR SX and add a used Tyros 3 or 4, you get more value, than a new PSR SX could.
Vous pouvez améliorer de façon considérable votre PsrSx 900 via le YEM, avec l'ajout de drums kits Pros et Des sonorités bien choisies. Ensuite il reste juste à améliorer les styles ou en créer de nouveaux. Une très bonne continuation musicale 🎹.
Mich bewegt die Frage, wie viel von den schönen Sounds und Features der Genos 1 bereits konnte, das allererste Beispiel klingt ja nicht gerade so, als könnte man es nicht mit einem PSR SX 900 genauso spielen.
Ich möchte wetten, wenn Yamaha dazu übergegangen wäre, erstens den Speicherplatz für Styles so großzügig zu gestalten, dass die Ausnutzung der maximalen Patternlänge niemals zu einer Fehlermeldung führt und zweitens sehr lange Styles mit 8 oder 16 Takten hat, würde genau dies auch kommuniziert werden und nicht etwa verschwiegen. Ich selbst benutze ein Modul von Ketron und genieße es, dass der Drummer auch alle 8 Takte ein kleines Fill In macht.
Ich verstehe nicht, warum so eine Kirmesmusik so ein tolles Instrument repräsentieren soll. Total enttäuschend.
I am really disappointed with this release. It took so long to launch a new version where rhythms and sounds that were already available in the first keyboard version are showcased. I don't see innovation that gives more power to the user for sound editing. There's no innovation to offer users the opportunity to edit drum kits and save their own configurations. I don't see innovation in an interface that is currently very poor for drum editing in style creator. There is no innovation or improvement in the interface for style editing, especially in the events section, which is not ergonomic at all. I don't see innovation in sounds like saxophone and accordion. In short, Yamaha is limiting the user to what they can do on the keyboard. We lack flexibility and autonomy for many things. A new reverb? The old one was sufficient, they could have saved time and worked on something more useful.
you are not alone - there are thousands of disappointed fans. thats why they´ve deactivated the comment-section on the first presentation-videos ;-)

When the Genos 1 was released, the Revo Drums were always boomy, no kit with a Jazz sound. When I dislike a snare with too much low end, the Genos has the same drums as the Tyros 5.
Meanwhile I use a Tyros 3, let it play the drums on my Ketron module, it sounds way better this way. The only limitation is, that most patterns are 4 bars only and the style editor shows error messages, would I try to create long patterns about 8 or 16 bars.
