- Pastor Vlad continued on the series "The Secret Place". He went into detail of the story of Elijah and the poor widow and the divine instruction the prophet gave her that could change our life.
Focus on the presence inspite of the problems (2 Kings 4:1)
Presence of a problem is not an indication of God’s absence or his approval.
Focus on what’s left, not on what’s lost. (2 Kings 4:1)
God will use you to be part of solution to the problem you were a part of creating. If God changes my life without changing me, I will find myself in the same problem soon. Jesus wants to make my life better but also make me better at life.
When you lost everything, remember, the Holy Spirit did not leave you. If you recognize that Holy Spirit has not left you, he will being to lead you.
Face your fear (2 Kings 4:3)
Before God removes problem, he wants to remove fear. Flood of the past will not repeat in the future When clouds gather, look for the rainbow. Fear is faith in the reverse. Faith and fear both ask me to belie in something I can’t yet see. I choose faith
Secret place is the secret to God’s success (2 Kings 4:4)
Close the door of distraction so that God can open windows of heaven
Empty your mind of life’s problems so that God can fill it with his peace
Oil will multiply in the pouring. Talk to Holy Spirit in private and you will walk in Holy Spirit in public. Holy Spirit flows as I get filled, fellowship and follow him.
The flow of Holy Spirit is proportional with my faith
Sell in public what flows in private (2 Kings 4:7)
Principle of Provision: Sell. Pay. Live on what’s left.

Got this message on right time, passed few weeks I've been having a rough time.. The exam for which i ve been praying for so long, the result came that i didn't get through the exam... I was broken totally, because i was praying for this for so long and still i didn't get through..

It just brings tears to my eyes how pastor and wife had to live on what was left. It was also a funny story. Thank you for sharing that. Just a testimony of how much many ministers had to sacrifice for the ministry. God doesn't always start them off on riches, cause the world will say that's what they wanted all along. I know now what it really means why our Lord Christ Jesus washed the feets of "His disciples".
For so long, being a pastor's kid, a volunteer, my life was like a tumbleweed, I always find someone, some church to feed me with deeper things of God but as you always say, "it's in the secret place" not only in Sunday but in everyday, from Monday to Sunday. Lately, my prayer life and meditation life is not good. Please do pray for me and for others also that going through like me, I know we are many like this.
I don't want to continue my life just to survive. I would like my life to continue in serving God, following the orders of my King Jesus Christ and always remembering my Savior.

Yes, the other day God showed lead me to Psalm 119:26 "i gave an account of my ways and you answered me;" (NIV)
Jesus reminded me to give an account of evth...(whatever is running in your mind) to Him (ya even though He literally knows evth)... For me I write it down in my Journal when I'm in His presence. This really helps me convey... Then He starts speaking to me through His Word!
