This is awesome 👌
Great job look forward to see it go down the track
Nice job 👍🏻😎
Great job man!! I’m putting in my order immediately for my inter- chiller. Great video
Thanks for watching man. Sorry for the late response😅
Great job Chris. You know better than trusting other people's information.🤟🆒 Awesome content as per usual 😉👏🔥💯👍😎
Appreciate that, Grahame! 🤙
Good job brother. And thank you for sharing some key details. I just ordered a Stage 2 myself from Kirk. I'm in florida. Cheers!
Just now seeing your comment.. That's awesome man, how you liking the kit? Where about are you located in Fl?
Nice Chris....If you would show the track mode button powered by the relay. This system is going to do the job for sure.
Thanks for sharing. I just started my install and need all the info I can find.
So where how did you go from factory condenser into the supplied condenser? I may be missing pieces lol
Quick question: Where do you get the AC hose crimping tool? A reliable one? Thanks!
Nice video, any updates on how you feel about it now that you have ran it for a while? How does it recover after 4-5 hits and the IAT2's get above 90 degrees on a 80 degree day?
With the IHI, after 4-5 passes the IAT's would get to the 130's and would recover in only a few minutes. I believe (depending on outside temp) they would typically come down to 80-100°. The chiller makes the car recover phenomenally fast. Also the starting temps are much lower than factory. I/C would start at 28-32°.
Do you know what the part # on that electric solenoid valve is? Thanks and awesome car!
I'm not sure of a part number. If you look up FI interchillers he may be able to help you.
How much room is left to put the front clip on once finished Chris? Have seen some folks cut the front cross bar and center it in between and it wont fill out so far. Did you remove all the inner support structure from your front fascia?
I did have to readjust the interchiller and dryer after my initial install. I had it mounted up a bit too high, so it wouldn't sit properly inside of the bumper. I only had to remove the foam from the bumper and I had to grind down the lower grill screws a little bit. I would definitely recommend test fitting the bumper before you mount the chiller.
For the bumper mount, did you have to make any changes to your bumper or did it all fit correctly?
All I had to modify on the bumper was to grind down the tops of the lower grill mounting bolts. Nothing crazy, just grind the tops of the screws flush with the clip they screw into. Hopefully that makes sense lol
The bumper has plenty of depth to accommodate the chiller. The only issue with clearance is top to bottom.
Damn man. Three weeks? Was it from waiting in parts? I did mine in 14 hours because the kit didn’t say much about using half off hellcat lines and the half from the redeye. I put the Freon res by the stock chiller location so everything was hidden and i cut the center of the bar out and mounted it in the middle. Good job! It looks great
I also used the stock valve so i didn’t use their wiring and i could control it in the screen. The 2019s have to be in track mode, 2020+ can activate the chiller in any mode. My temps were 34°-45° but my Freon was never on point. You can also get some adapters on Amazon for $10 to run 134 Freon
I spent some time waiting on parts and also just didn't have the time to invest in doing it all at once. It became a much bigger job than I expected. 🥸
@@KelleysGarageOfficial the instructions weren’t that friendly for redeye owners lol
How cold dose your stage 2 get?
Lowest I've seen is 24° on a 90° day.
After starting the chiller did the drier(black canister) gets hot?
The dryer gets cold as there's freon running through it.
@@KelleysGarageOfficial mine gets hot... is it bcuz of less ac refregrant?
@@essaessa8636 could be. Are you sure you have the lines connected right?
@@essaessa8636 they tell you to mount it where there is airflow to help keep it cool in the instructions
im used to air 2 air and my new car has air 2 water im thinking about runing this type oof system but im still iffy about it.
Can't beat it.. Best system there is!
