hello, in this video,you can know how RD power supplies come out, and the differences between RD6006/RD6012/RD6006P/RD6012P, because recently I catch cold, so I use synth voice for dubbing。
in short,
RD6006 and RD6012 are early modules, they are 4 digit power supplies, they have old setting manu(of course you can update the firmware to get the latest function now), ripple is higher than P series, but if you just need to use them to power on loads, there is no problem.
if you need the output has lower ripple and you have high accuracy request, you can choose P series, RD6006P/RD6012P are 5 digit power supplies, they have much lower ripple, suitable for phone and laptop repair, and they have new functions shown below:
·add cut off current and cut off temperature for battery charging
·add output power limit to protect the load
·custom parameter display color
·add detail mode display besides the tradition mode and curve mode
·you can use left and right direction button to switch the display style at main page

@@tohaason rd series power supply can be considered as lab power supply too, maybe the functions are different, for example, the devices from other company may have dual output, so RD power supply whole set should be at the medium level of the lab power supply
