I'd honestly say that there's still a chance for a season 2. I know that Glitch said themselves that it's the end of the story, but to me, I'd say that the ending doesn't look all that bleak to me. We've got V back, J's getting some screentime, Khan's back with something new too. But the thing that speaks to me the most is the ending shot, where they fly off the remains of the planet on the spaceship, which makes it a positively open ending to m (assuming it's the ending, of course, which i hope it is). Maybe Liam doesn't know where he'd lead rhe show next, adding to that that Glitch has 2 shows in production, which is quite a strain on their animators and budget. If we DO get a season 2, it'll be a while for sure. Assuming that the last shot ISN'T the end of the episode, it'll likely have a bleak ending. Of course I'm just speculating, but if they only have a single ship, the planet is destroyed and Cyn is very much alive, they don't have a lot of chances. My best possibility here is that it could end on a cliffhanger, such as N sacrifising himself for the crew, like jumping onto the tentacle and cutting it, letting others fly away and (most likely) dying himself. (Whatever happens to V, I hope that she gets her body back, it's too iconic and entertaining to watch to go) TL;DR: I'd say that there's still a possibility of the show coming back in the future, not even mentioning fandom keeping it alive.
Is it me or the ending is just so clear? Uzi, N and the rest will kill cyn, stopping the absolute solver but thet all die in the process. I cant see a different route things can go with the current context Oh yes, J is evil. Mentioned in the description of her plushie in the glitch store
