You are amazing . Totally beautiful tutorial and I will probably stay in this space a little longer ... "Look up at the stars and not down at your feet." Stephen Hawking
If I wanted to use the Funnel comp to work with a comp that I've already created has text with a landscape background , would that work? Thanks in advance!
Yes, you should be able to. The funnel comp has a lot of layers that all reference each other or are connected in some way, but as long as you keep them all together, you can move them to another comp, or bring other layers into the funnel comp. And there's a precomp where you can drag in your own footage or image, and have it projected onto the funnel, if you didn't want stars falling in there.
@@CraigTracey-ye3tn I think the setup in this template might be a bit easier to figure out. I copied the layers from the Infinite Horizon template into this project, so it's essentially the same, but I did a few things to improve it in this template.
It's not something that can be explained in a UA-cam comment, but you can watch this tutorial and maybe get an idea: ua-cam.com/video/2_K8GNtfi94/v-deo.htmlsi=mDjVTJqw4TGfi-hR
@@creationeffects wow, I didnt expect you to reply that fast, first of all thankyou for answering. I have watched the video you sent, and im close to create the effect that im looking for using fractal noise, polar cordinates and cc ball action. one more question though, how do you 'mask' the cc ball into 1/2 part? i tried using linear wipe but it doesnt do the job, its very harsh and the cc ball effect doesnt play nice with feather that comes in linear wipe effect

@@creationeffects thanks! + do you think this would be preferred over using infinite horizon, or would that preset have an advantage over this?
