Here's a quick tip for ya.
When mounting ANY big bike, either tall or weighty (works even with the 2.3 triumph)
First turn the forks towards the side stand, this alters the seat height by upto 50mm honest. Mount the bike by standing either on the side stand flick or the foot peg and swing your leg over and immediately turn the forks (whilst on its stand) straight ahead with your right leg outstretched. This stops the bike overbalancing to the side stand side. Then put your left foot on the ground your right foot on the right foot peg and then swing the forks/bars to the right. Gently push on the right foot peg and straighten your left leg and the bike effortlessly stands upright. Once upright straighten forks to maintain balance.
This works really well when heavily laden and with a pillion and takes the load off of your shoulders or any dicky hips joints etc... Its a matter of lever principles 🤔😊👍

Great video and good banter, this will age well, and also good job on your bike reviews, other channels just tell people about Ducati, BMW, etc and nothing smaller that one could use

I have rolled off my center stand while seated with EVERY bike I have ever owned and never in all my 42 years of riding had an issue with it wearing out or have it collapse or had any other of the horror stories that you may have heard of happening. Keep it well maintained and you never will! Good maintainance , as with all things bike, is key!

@@bleepfakes Same as the 125s then :-( 4000 miles is just too short these days it should be at least 6000. If you do reasonable mileage especially as it's an adventure bike then the extra expense of servicing means it's not as cheap as it first seems.

Looks very good but your thing about changing a sprocket to alter the gearing is flawed. The gearing is set within the gearbox a different sprocket will just raise ( or lower) depending on the sprocket, all of the gears. So 3rd, 4th and 5th will still be the same relative to each other just higher or lower. Or am I missing something?

Having owned a Chinese bike (Kymco K-Pipe 125) I'd recommend a liter or so of Locktite as my first purchase after bringing the bike home, as China apparently has no clue about keeping their bikes from vibrating apart.

With a 17” front wheel, is it really going to see any off road action? With a good tank range I could see this as a good bike for the NC500 but so is my CBF1000. Sadly it’s one of those bikes that seems to fall between two worlds and yet.....I like it! I like what they are trying to do and I cannot understand why Suzuki didn’t do this with the Vstrom 250. Imagine that bike with a V twin 400cc engine and a nice wedge of torque low down. Now you’re talking.

What of space for adaptation such sump plate or lighting. It would be interesting to see the lights at night.
How about using the bike actually off-road and its handling for the job other than posing and reviews. If you don't use it for off-road then surely you would get a road bike.
How does it handle fully loaded on and off-road? Are tyres tubed or tubles and how do those tyers supplied measure up in grip?
