Great collection! I just hope Mattel makes a Made to Move Ken doll! The only articulated Ken dolls that are affordable are the Hunger Games and Divergent ones.
The need to make MTM in the darker skin tones first tho. There just aren't any 😪
That's what I think as well! The Made to Move black doll doesn't match a lot of the darker skin tones.

you must be talking about Ophelia, she is the Cinderella doll by Mattel. I don't remember which version she was but she had on a wedding dress and her hair high up in a bun when i got her. I rebodied her onto the palest skin tone MTM, Purple top.

Awesome collection. I plead the fifth on the number of dolls I have. The two things I don't like is One: the eyes looking sideways cause you got to pose her differently the straight forward eyes n Two: legs that don't bend. Ugh. It's like the very first Barbie....stiff. Like their going backwards. Or maybe Mattel did that on purpose so we'd have to buy more MTM dolls. Smart. Hugs DC

growing up all of my barbies where white with blue eyes and blonde hair and the same face, so i never wanted to play with them. i only had about three barbies that weren't the stereotypical barbie. now that i'm older i'm planning on selling a ton of my old ones so i can invest in more diverse dolls. i'm a huge fan of the new body types and i'm super excited to start switching some heads around to get some dolls i really love. your channel made me realise just how diverse dolls can be, thank you so much!
Awesome idea! I'm growing my doll collection to have a variety of different dolls too. It's amazing how in such a short time, I learned soo much dolls. A lot of it is thanks to Broken Barbie TV, their collection is GOALS man.

pastelbirdnerd I haven't been collecting that long, really. As an adult anyway. I used to have a lot of dolls when I was younger, but they were mostly given away. I've started collecting again the beginning of this year, and so far I have about 30 dolls. They look waay more interesting than the kind I used to have as well. I have a few of my old ones and geez louise! They look so bland and boring in comparison lol

dollcrafter2015 hahahaha! so much controversy about her. I can see how she looks a bit mannish. I do think she is an excellent candidate for a repaint. I am a fan of Emma Watson. it's a shame they didn't do a great job on her pretty face in doll version.

TwistedBarbie the doll next to orange top is a 2017 fashionista, I will upload a review of her soon. she is the petite one with ice cream cones all over her dress. her hair was originally in a high ponytail. sorry, I forgot her original name because Mattel stopped naming their dolls and I can't remember all these long complex descriptive names they keep using on new Fashionistas. lol
Your collection is awesome! And I love that storage unit thing you made. I'm working on cleaning off a bookshelf to store my repainting supplies, but now in thinking of modifying it to use as doll storage . . . I just have my whole collection stuffed in a dark blue storage tote to keep light and dust off them, but it's really hard finding what I'm looking for in a box of around 50 Monster High dolls and 20+ Barbies . . . And I'll soon be adding Obitsu dolls to the mix, so something must be done as far as my storage system goes, because that box is packed and I'd like to actually use it for doll furniture instead. You may very well have just given me the solution. :)
Kattriella Draws I used to keep them in boxes but got tired of digging around for dolls. and hair tangling. so I came up with the storage unit. if you wanna save time but don't mind spending a bit of money, look for plastic drawers that u can see thru. U can slide dolls in there, lying flat and stack the drawers on top of each other. it will also look very organized.
Broken BarbieTV I don't have anymore space for something like drawers in my room, sadly. (If I had it my way, my dolls would have taken over the house already, but my family APPARENTLY thinks we need places to sit in the living room instead of doll storage. I don't get what's wrong with them.) I totally understand about the hair tangling, though. I nearly had a heart attack when I realised my ComiCon exlusive Iris Clops Monster High doll had gotten her hair tangled in another doll's jewelry. It spent nearly an hour carefully picking it out so I didn't mess up her hair style . . . And I thought doll collecting would be a RELAXING hobby.
You have an awesome collection! It's cool how you have them displayed. Your repaints are really good too. Like yours, all of my old Skipper dolls have really frizzy hair too haha.

Made to Move Ken and Made to Move dolls for the new body types are on my list of, " PLEASE, Mattel, just let us adult collectors have this so we can save our sanity . . ." The thing is, Made to Move Ken would probably have molded hair, and then the customizers like me would just blow a gasket.

Krissy :3 They also still need a Made to Move doll for their darkest skintones. I've seen some GORGEOUS Fashionistas that I want for my collection, but they don't have Made to Move dolls in their skintone. Mattel, you're falling behind! We know you have the body molds, and we know you have the plastic colors. Now combine them! I know remaking the new body types in Made to Move form will require resculpting them to include the joints, but they already have most of the components. Surely somebody can figure out how to combine them.

My dolls are really messed up and kind dirty with broken clothes and the heads of the dolls I have are about to fall off because I have had them for years so I'm gonna start buying new dolls and forgetting about my old dolls that I have had for about five years.
