Some tips I can give based on my personal experience: 1. It's best as soon as you reach the 200+ stamina cap to maximize your amity with a potion, skill book, gift vendor. This will give you a 25% discount on articles which will be useful for the following tips and will save you on your silvers in the long run in a couple of millions. 2. Do the world boss event and game event. Most of them are very rewarding so never miss out opportunity on them. 3. Go buy jewel, skill book and gifts whenever they refresh. If the refresh is a 3-5min and you can afford to wait while doing other stuff then do so. Gifts are best used to level up your workers. 4. It's best to keep a stack of jewels, Lightstone of a certain grade before bulk fusing them to improve your chance of obtaining one of a higher grade. Say, you'll need 30 purple gems and bulk fuse them to get a yellow than trying randomly. 5. Buy from Talish Shop every skill book, condensed energy or any valuables that cost less than 5 black pearls. Check also the free Lightstone and relic given by the game. 6. Check the auction house you might find a good deal and plan your sales accordingly. Also, sell stuff you don't need and which worth the silvers. Some purple gloves can go as much as 500k 7. Use the Black Spirit Mode for hunting while doing repeatable quests. 8. Always wait to buy yellow workers, prioritize on workers with high dexterity Dexterity = less working time and resource strength = more material produce stamina = determine how much the worker will be willing to continue the task before requiring a pause, it's the least important stat since you can spend your own stamina or gift to discipline or encourage them. 9. Know when to upgrade your gear. It's worthy to attempt to upgrade around 55% chance when using green or blue quality black stone, 85% when using epic black stone and 90%+ when upgrading yellow and red gear. 10 Black spirit mode will work during maintenance if u can set it ahead of a maintenance schedule you're a winner. 11. Gears can be used between multiple heroes. So don't sell your upgraded epic gear if you'll be alting. They'll be still quite useful. Hence the importance of having good Accessories being the hardest gear to upgrade their tier, it's often more economical to upgrade their stats than changing tier. For e.g, A purple accessory +4 would cost around 110 pearls it has the same cp equivalent to a yellow accessory that costs around 500 pearls. 12. Plan your upgrades and when to buy the next tier gear. If upgrading to the next tier will drop your cp then be patient, since extracting 100% of the stones will cost real money and hence only 60% can be extracted. It's best if you're in the ability to buy your next tier gear to save your stones as from then Your cp is important than the gear tier or even stats. Once you feel like your next tier can bring about the same cp or even boost it do your gear tier upgrade as soon as possible. 13. Upgrading your base is more important than nodes. Tree hacking as such is the most efficient use of stamina. 14. For people who don't put real money in the game. There's still a way to alt efficiently. Some classes enjoy the same stats from armor gear. For e.g Mana regen is useful for magic users but useless for a fighter class It's better if on your account if you're making a mage to stick to magic class users like a witch and so on. Any red gear not meant for your co-related hero classes can be sold on the market and ease the cp development of your alt and main 15. At your camp, you'll often see green exclamation marks on some visitors. You should do their quests as they reward you with a lot of contribution points that you need to hire workers. 16. Any fish that you hook must be kept. They can be later used to do repeatable quest and award you with contribution points. 17. The most effective way to do guild quests: Hack x5 tree, Do 1 arena and set x2000 monsters slaying along with your black spirit quest + a repeatable slaying quest in black spirit mode with a 3hr meal and empty your back beforehand. 18. Keep your upgraded epic gears, they can be used by your alts at low level. 19. It's best to buy your potions from a full amity vendor. Stock around 500 on your horse and another 500 in your base. and 200 on you. This minimize the weight you carry and enable you to minimize the cost of having to buy potions from the nearest town. Your horse can also carry your stamina potion. All seeds should be store in your camp storage 20. Always focus on Lightstone that maximize the chance to upgrade the Lightstone tier and jewels' tier. Once you'll reach the end game, then you can swap those chances with more weight limit or added stats.

Yep, I tried fishing in a few different ways because of this because it just didn't work. Limited/small amount of silver and xp that overlevels you preventing you from gaining loot :( no matter what I did fishing just isnt worth it
I wish I knew the "fiddling around" points, whatever they were called, didn't replenish nearly as fast as I would like. Did they ever make those points recharge faster or do away with them all together?

Visceral Nyx every character alt you make can gain bonuses account wide so the main benefits from it and gets stronger. While I don’t think it’s as effective as simply improving your main, it is a method to get past areas you are stuck in.
I think the limit to loot drop per area is measured against your character level -- not your CP. So not only a new character can gain account wide boons like contribution exp, they can also reduce your potion consumption when in Black Spirit mode by retaining loot drop rates against lower CP monsters. I can't remember if weeb said you should not use auto hunt. But honestly, not everyone is going to play BD like a full-time job. Black Spirit auto hunt is pretty important for an average player.
I sure wish I didn’t open my pre registration costume on my Valkyrie. I main mage and it ticks me off how i lost my chance at a mage costume because of curiosity. Please let me know if there’s any way to change the class lock on costume or not

Go to settings, game and set the follow friends option. Go to your camp, let everything load and then visit your friends camp. Once their camp is loaded, leave from their camp and if you are lucky. You will end up on same channel as them. You have to be on the same server.

i dont think hiring workers and then deleting them is worth it. Contribution points are much harder to get as you level. Takes quite a bit to level up contribution level to just get one point.
Indeed. I suggest doing quest line twice for rewards + contribution. Hiring/deleting characters is more for as soon as you get the base, you sent them away and as soon as they get back take rewards and dismiss them. Doing so will obtain quite a few stam pots. The stam pots are then used to obtain wood to level up base faster. I crunched the numbers and its slightly faster :D it's pretty try hard tho so you don't have to do it

I played on xbox launch right up to awakening. I had got my first tet piece was pretty strong. made it into apex guild. then overnight my striker went from op to poop. kept up the grind till I kept going for another tet. I would go down to tri down to dou then back to try . repeat. wasted weeks of grinding and real money for rgn based gear system that was somewhat rewarding. I considered playing this but current looking for something different like swtor for pve . if your super competitive I would ride this game a couple months and dump it or dump your wallet into it one.
I got 2700 but had to stop playing because don’t have android anymore waiting for dec-12 should I start a new chars on the newer server or continue with that one, because know I see people in the 4K, will I be to behind?
People at 4k are people who have spent thousands/tens of thousands, Ignore them. I suggest starting on new server, everything you've learned + my videos will give you a good start on launch and many more players. To answer your question, The average would be 3100-3300 atm so you're already very far behind on soft launch servers (aisa)

Alts are very useful if your willing to run the story line multiple times over as the rewards for completing it are very good! You do it as its quite fast and you pick up the family CP that you missed previously etc making you more powerful overall. However, farming at end game gives awesome rewards once strong enough so its actually better to afk farm then to create alts.
For now they r good for skillbook,blackstones and boss stamp farming for your main char. Just transfer everything over to ur main after u reach like nord calpheon and delete the char and make new one.
Disapointing that this version of BDO offers so little compared to the korean version. Can you make a gear upgrade path to follow from start to abyss? On the korean BDO i was basically blindfolded doing whatever by tria.. didnt have a clue how i even receive all that gear 🙄
Could you elaborate on the advantage of the multiple characters and transferring gear? Let's say your gear is only good enough for a certain point in the game. Even if you transfer that to a new character, aside from getting there faster, wouldn't you still be at the same point in the game?
No, As you'd get all the rewards for completing the quest line again which is a ton of stones, upgading your armor more, which is higher CP so overall you'd be stronger.

Does afk fishing cause problems for my character? Because afk fighting just costs a stupid amount in potions unless I make them which takes a lot of recourses. I’d like to afk fish but idk if that’ll be harmful.
Black spirit afk fighting if your spending to many potions in that area. Do not fish, it actively hurts you as your level increases but your CP doesnt so its harder to farm areas that is safe that doesnt cost a ton of potions.
I pretty much gave all the details you need. Transfer gear, go through quest line on alt then transfer all rewards back. Theres no secret method or number to stop at. lv 48 does have a high level upgrade stone so I shoot for there personally (it takes a lot of play time)

Though i can tell why most people say its p2w, they must be stuck at lvl 50-54 with 2400 cp. cause ive been there and all you have to surpass that was to head to the market and buy a much better equips (such as: grunil armor set and a liverto) which costs 10k-15k silver, thats when youre finally able to escape 2400 cp!

Using Asus Rog 2 phone (tencent) version and max graphic settings is locked for me. I can only play the game in poopy 30fps and only set the resolution on high when my phone can handle so much more.
Do as much of the story line as you can before you create an alt, While collecting family based CP bonus such as knowledge etc. This way your alt will be very strong to begin with.

Sorta accurate.. So in your inventory, if you click on your weapon. It will bring up the weapons stats, look at the bottom right of the Box that appears. It tells you down there which character can wear that weapon. Works for off hand also!
Could i transfer my enhancement stones from my other character to my main? Cause i want to main valk, and if creating other char to gather stones for me to use for valk, then i'll gladly do so

Here is a Gear Upgrade Setup for New Players in 3 Steps to hit 3000+ CP : Step 1 : Get Blue Gear +7 and Green Accessories +3 Don't upgrade Blue above +7 !!! Step 2 : Get Purple Gear +15 and Blue Accessories +5 Don't upgrade Purple above +15 !!! Step 3 : Get Yellow 2 Socketed Gear +30 and Purple Accessories +5 Don't upgrade Yellow above +30 !!!
I did fishing on my first character, that was a mistake due to increasing my level but not my cp making it harder for me to farm mobs that actually dropped items! ~coffee
You dont really need to play through the main quest again if you make an alt because of the family cp and food mechanics. Some of your CP progress will "carry over" to your alts so your other characters start out stronger. The same also works for your main, some of the CP progress from your alts also transfers to your main so both of them are getting stronger at the same time. All your gear and money is useable by alts, as well as all unlocked features from your main so you can focus on just leveling up your alts. Another thing is the Tower feature. You can just leave your alts there and they will get tons of exp when youre not using them

you can just craft it. just make sure to spend all your stamina in gathering resources and having a camp plus helps a lot.

i dont think hiring workers and then deleting them is worth it. Contribution points are much harder to get as you level. Takes quite a bit to level up contribution level to just get one point.
Indeed. I suggest doing quest line twice for rewards + contribution. Hiring/deleting characters is more for as soon as you get the base, you sent them away and as soon as they get back take rewards and dismiss them. Doing so will obtain quite a few stam pots. The stam pots are then used to obtain wood to level up base faster. I crunched the numbers and its slightly faster :D it's pretty try hard tho so you don't have to do it

I played on xbox launch right up to awakening. I had got my first tet piece was pretty strong. made it into apex guild. then overnight my striker went from op to poop. kept up the grind till I kept going for another tet. I would go down to tri down to dou then back to try . repeat. wasted weeks of grinding and real money for rgn based gear system that was somewhat rewarding. I considered playing this but current looking for something different like swtor for pve . if your super competitive I would ride this game a couple months and dump it or dump your wallet into it one.
I got 2700 but had to stop playing because don’t have android anymore waiting for dec-12 should I start a new chars on the newer server or continue with that one, because know I see people in the 4K, will I be to behind?
People at 4k are people who have spent thousands/tens of thousands, Ignore them. I suggest starting on new server, everything you've learned + my videos will give you a good start on launch and many more players.
To answer your question, The average would be 3100-3300 atm so you're already very far behind on soft launch servers (aisa)

Alts are very useful if your willing to run the story line multiple times over as the rewards for completing it are very good! You do it as its quite fast and you pick up the family CP that you missed previously etc making you more powerful overall. However, farming at end game gives awesome rewards once strong enough so its actually better to afk farm then to create alts.
For now they r good for skillbook,blackstones and boss stamp farming for your main char. Just transfer everything over to ur main after u reach like nord calpheon and delete the char and make new one.

Just get to level 55 and get rewards from story quests and then farm after that.

Could you elaborate on the advantage of the multiple characters and transferring gear? Let's say your gear is only good enough for a certain point in the game. Even if you transfer that to a new character, aside from getting there faster, wouldn't you still be at the same point in the game?
No, As you'd get all the rewards for completing the quest line again which is a ton of stones, upgading your armor more, which is higher CP so overall you'd be stronger.

Iqbal Khan I’d suggest building green or blue as they become more frequent as you progress but keep those high rarity accessories in mind and slowly stockpile them.

Does afk fishing cause problems for my character? Because afk fighting just costs a stupid amount in potions unless I make them which takes a lot of recourses. I’d like to afk fish but idk if that’ll be harmful.
Black spirit afk fighting if your spending to many potions in that area.
Do not fish, it actively hurts you as your level increases but your CP doesnt so its harder to farm areas that is safe that doesnt cost a ton of potions.

I pretty much gave all the details you need. Transfer gear, go through quest line on alt then transfer all rewards back. Theres no secret method or number to stop at. lv 48 does have a high level upgrade stone so I shoot for there personally (it takes a lot of play time)

Though i can tell why most people say its p2w, they must be stuck at lvl 50-54 with 2400 cp. cause ive been there and all you have to surpass that was to head to the market and buy a much better equips (such as: grunil armor set and a liverto) which costs 10k-15k silver, thats when youre finally able to escape 2400 cp!

@@marksenpai2266 I think LD Player is best if you have a Good PC. Bluestacks is alright for your Average PC. LD Player has a lot of Customization which means you get very good Graphics and get to setup your PC to run optimally.

Using Asus Rog 2 phone (tencent) version and max graphic settings is locked for me. I can only play the game in poopy 30fps and only set the resolution on high when my phone can handle so much more.

Do as much of the story line as you can before you create an alt, While collecting family based CP bonus such as knowledge etc. This way your alt will be very strong to begin with.

No armor is Universal just weapons aren’t
Sorta accurate.. So in your inventory, if you click on your weapon. It will bring up the weapons stats, look at the bottom right of the Box that appears. It tells you down there which character can wear that weapon. Works for off hand also!

The hard limit is the time it takes to delete a character and that is 3 days. Running quest line is cool and all but don't run it 20 times lol

yea dont see the point in making another character. dont feel like having to grind through the story again. it gets boring and relaly theres no point
You dont really need to play through the main quest again if you make an alt because of the family cp and food mechanics. Some of your CP progress will "carry over" to your alts so your other characters start out stronger. The same also works for your main, some of the CP progress from your alts also transfers to your main so both of them are getting stronger at the same time. All your gear and money is useable by alts, as well as all unlocked features from your main so you can focus on just leveling up your alts. Another thing is the Tower feature. You can just leave your alts there and they will get tons of exp when youre not using them
