Everyone who says that he would have won if he used a different stride have no idea how altmile works. First of all, he was on GB2 so Brave Lancer could not be used because he is GB3. He could have used Brave Lancer's Brave, but that would mean one less attack which would have been the same result. Aerial Altmile would be exactly what Fides would do minus the retire, and the extra power would not have helped because the 16000s would become 19000s which are still blockable by the grade 0s. Halbawcks is a +2 in comparison to Fides who is a +1, but Halbawcks skill is an Act and Shion already had a Redon who he called to one of his columns using Altmile's skill. That means with Halbawcks he could have called one extra grade 1 to boost, which could result in a power increase of ~+10000 to the column in comparison to Fides buffing the rear guard for 5000. However Valeos unnecessarily used 10000s to guard attacks that could be guarded with 5000s so the result would be the same. If he had used two G guards, sure he could go for Brave Lancer and win, but the way his deck was scripted by the writers he could not win this. Which is ok by me but when I see people saying things like he should have gone for Brave Lancer I nerdrage :p

And it has 25000+ power for a base of 36000! I wonder if all Zeroth Dragons are going to be like that one was... On that note, the United Sanctuary Dragon might be like: Retires all rear-guards you control and gains 5000 power for each (Shadow Paladin) Calls 5 units from the Deck and gives 5000 power to each (Royal Paladin/Gold Paladin) A second skill to manipulate your Deck (Oracle Think Tank/Genesis) Can heal 1-2 Damage (Angel Feather) Just an assumption... We all know Shion's not dead, for plot connivance he's probably just unconscious. I'm also really hoping Chrono doesn't get Diffridden or gives in to Gyze. Though I feel like the former is more likely to happen... This is a bit of an early assumption, but here's my thought of what Gyze is going to be like: Grade 5 Quadruple Drive (x4) 45000+ Pay a second Grade 3 to Stride on top of a Zeroth Dragon And some skill that is incredibly over powered and almost impossible to survive. Maybe even an automatic win skill.

Pretty much already know Shion was losing because of the ending last week, still a good fight though, lots of new cards and skills, plus we lean more about Fides. Interesting stride skill used, fixing and opponents atk to a certain amount regardless of triggers, 1st time I have seen that skill. Alright we see a Zeroth dragon and the cost that comes with them. Wow! triple critical trigger, they definitely wanted to make a statement with this episode. Also know more about the mark on Chrono's hand and how it light up each time a team mate is defeated, the question is what happens once all 6 are lit? Gyze revives? Might learn more from Gastille in the next episode.
so at the end of your turn when it goes back to the Generation zone, you can to exclude all cards in the G-zone. that means No more Generation break or striding. basicly it shuts off every deck that is based around Generation breaks. but old style decks before the G-era will be safe
Oh dear.....i wanted support for aqua force for so long b-b-but.........THIS IS MARVELOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A vanguard unit with a stride skill that locks the opponent's vanguard power at base, pesky dmg triggers can ride their power somewhere else because the vanguard is going noooooowhere unless they use up their g guards or pgs' or a ton of hand shield or units on field with some shield skills. And a unit that can attack 3 times without a penalty is just the perfect AF unit to put it in if you're tired of tidal assault (which is still viable for early game of course) or another generic g2 unit. And last note.....holy fudgebomb is Megiddo a dang amazing card, drop and hand? Viable definitely to granblue players and the destructive columns plus waves that come in, ooooooooof ..... great Gatsby where is Vanguard going with this?

Zeroth dragons are applicable for all clans of the certain ...(branch? I forgot but ex. Megallicana, United sanctuary, etc.) AND have no sub clan specifics, so as long as you can pay the cost of course...and lose striding while at that.
I feel like these ultimate stride cards should be a bit more harsh. Even if you were to remove all G units from your side there are still decks out there that can run perfectly fine with no G units. Perhaps instead of removing G units you reset your vanguard to grade 0

I believe Chaos Breaker Dragon and the Star-Vaders from the Link Joker arc were sent to destroy Fides and recover the Zeroth Dragons. They were sent back after Omega was defeated and the Void was weaken by Blaster Blade and King Alfred. Chaos Breaker must use Noa as a host since his link/source Omega was destroyed.
Maybe someone should tell Shion that he over guarded which cost him the game. Intercepting with escort was overkill, but understandable since calling redon would've allowed him to hit for higher nunbers. There was no need to throw down Selim for the second flood hazard, 31k without drive checks against Altmiles base 11k, Igraines 25k shield would've been enough.
