Similarly the weird “ch’s” represent the letter Cheth, which is just a throatier H sound as we find in german. 2) The Holy Spirit best corresponds to Yesod, according to Dion Fortune. 3) The Veil of Paroketh denotes the separation of Higher Mind and the mundane mind level Finally, pardon my half-baked Kronk impression. 😏 Peace
@Awaremacht A fair point perhaps- I do want to study that text someday (and your assumption is correct that I haven't read it, though I am aware of the mystical import of the 3 mother, 7 double, & 12 simple letters). However my purpose here wasn't “to be an expert in Qabalah”, but rather sharing the valuable spiritual principles I’ve found, to get people interested in studying this great subject of Qabalah for themselves, and for the benefit of those who are already studying it, to help clarify points. If we all waited to become total experts before “being allowed” to so much as mention a subject, then good things would not get the notoriety they deserve -- whereas purveyors of mundane subjects have no such qualms/self-imposed restrictions. In short, that wasn't my goal. But I accept your recommendation
@Awaremacht The vibration is as importand as the letter, i thought he did very well, partly because he is so easy on the ear and organised in his delivery. I'm Jewish but was dabbling in witchy stuff and my grandmother would hate it if I called myself a witch but didn't mind one bit if I said I was a Kabbalist... I got into a conversation with a random rabbi at a store and asked why witchcraft was forbidden but kabbalah was okay and he said "The Torah did not forbid controlling nature via Kabbalistic means, only via witchcraft and the like. The former consists of forces God placed in the universe which have the ability to override the ordinary Laws of Nature. Very few people possess the knowledge - as well as the personal piety - to access these forces, but they are legitimate." I love how this is part of my ancestry and culture!
Wow super cool that a random rabbi said that, i love it. I suppose that's like alchemy, where you're changing/raising your inner state in order to magically & naturally change your external life. Still gotta love the earthmagic witchcraft stuff tho, you can def combine the 2!

Thank you Paul. I have just begun my study of the Qabalah and gained a much better understanding and appreciation for how the Tree of Life works. Your discussion of the flow of movement starting with the positive, explosive emanation from Kether to the negative Sephirah of Binah, explained the reason for the Column of Severity being negative, female, receptive, and dark. Thank you.
It has also given me a visual understanding for the flow of the zig-zag lightning bolt. I have read these concepts but actually translating them into the magnetic pull of opposites, polarity, duality in action, has helped me ‘feel’ the movement of the energy.

"..Or go immediately up, and follow paths like Bhakti Yoga" Very interesting, I never viewed it that way -- I like it! What other schools of thought, orders , or religions would you consider middle pillar?
I would say mystic Christianity & Islam, and Theravada & Zen Buddhism. Those are some established paths I know of that focus specifically in that way -- seeking God-realization first and foremost, or solely. Depends on the practices you use, or perhaps it's your intended outcome that matters. Definitely a topic worth exploring more
Have you explored the channels See The Pattern, Randall Carlson, and Thunderbolts Project? If so, would you consider expanding on the interconnectedness between their knowledge/information and your knowledge/information?
I've only heard of Randall Carlson (through Bright Insight/ Jahannah James). They said he has a great series about Atlantis , but I haven't watched much content from him yet. (Where should i start?) Haven't heard of the other 2 channels but I will look into them! I'll see what kinds of topics they discuss , i definitely have much to say on Atlantis for example
@@PaulClermont See The Pattern has amazing playlists, like the great precession for example. A lot of it ties into EU model, so Thunderbolts Project is a great baseline because they include so many people's contributions. There's a lot to explore :) For Randall Carlson, he has his channel: The Randall Carlson (kosmographia playlist for Atlantis I think...) . Graham Hancock is another one to check out (put After Skool Randell Carlson, After Skool Graham Hancock for a starter...I'll follow up with better details and recommendations soon :)
So would you say that the top three sefirot represent form, function and ultimate understanding and the trinity comes from the interplay and ultimate understanding of origin?

@@PaulClermont haha so funny you say that I always wonder that myself. As a 90s baby I feel like I had the path just laid out for me I just wasn’t ready to see it yet. The more you learn and grow the more fun it is to go back and see all the messages that were laid out.
Nice video ❤️. But tell me something... Working the paths of the Tree, do you begin from up going downwards as I heard a stilled Magickian explained or do you begin from down going upwards? Will love to hear your concept on that. Thanks and please respond,
To me it makes sense to begin on the bottom (the 32nd path, from Malkuth to Yesod), since we're raising our consciousness up towards Kether. I'm not experienced with pathworking tho, so I'm not sure if it's best to go in chronological order, or if you should just work on a path that appeals to you. There's a book by Israel Regardie and the Ciceros that explains pathworking- i had a copy but it went missing before I got to read it
I was recommended by a UA-cam video to read 'A Garden of Pomegranates' by Israel Regardie as an introduction to learning about the Qabalah. It begins at Kether and goes down the tree to Malkuth. I am currently stuck on Binah as feeling I am losing my understanding of the content. Would you recommend an easier book for a beginner? Or is this the easiest one?! Thank you for your video!
Hey sarah- I've only read 2 Qabalah books so far that i can attest to, this one & DuQuette's "Chicken Qabalah", both great. (Ironically i was gonna read Garden of Pomegranates too but it got lost while moving a few years ago) Both books emphasize different aspects; Fortune's book is perhaps challenging (cognitive) but it's clear organized & thorough -- she gives several chapters of overview and then fully explains each of the 10 Sefirot in the 2nd half of the book. DuQuette's is definitely easy reading though (he uses satire) and he emphasizes different aspects than Dion, moreso the structure, themes, hebrew letters & tarot; he doesn't delve into analysis of each individual sefirot like Fortune's. So if you're just looking for a light entertaining quicker read right now, maybe go with Lon Milo DuQuette's book. He trolls a lot during the preface and intro pages, but eventually gets astute. That could be a good starting point if you're losing steam. If you want to understand the 10 sefirot in greater depth someday, definitely pick up The Mystical Qabalah
I'm learning tarot and seeing how alchemy, psychology, astrology, and the tree of life is connected to it, it's very interesting :) I have gone to a Jewish temple before but only for visit but I wonder if they discuss the three of life.
I'm curious to know as well- I'm guessing not , since kabbalah has been traditionally an advanced reserved teaching in Judaism. But maybe they mention the tree of life here & there anyway 🤔 . It is indeed awesome to see all these various systems come together in qabalah :)
Awesome video! Do you have any recommendation on which qabalah book to read out of the 2 in the description? I'm currently a beginner and I'm reading The Essential Golden Dawn by Chic Cicero
Oh man, epic book choice. In that case I'd say go for Mystical Qabalah, it's more thorough & detailed and probably what you're looking for. It even has full chapters on each sephiroth. That being said, DuQuette's is a great "chill" easy to read supplement to Fortune's book, and is geared towards ppl new to qabalah
A few ways- the joy of studying an interesting well-constructed philosophy, it has helped clarify my perception of reality and the divine (contributing to my spiritual studies & general wisdom), and then of course there is the unseen effect/benefit of how new knowledge impacts your life from that point on.
@@PaulClermont From RAV Ashlag and the Baal haSulam: 5. The essence of good and the essence of evil The essence of all the good that is in the world is the will to give benefit. This is also called “the good inclination (the yetzer hatov)”, and applies to purity, holiness, love of one’s fellow, and all other positive attributes. Whereas the essence of all the evil in the world, is the will to receive pleasure and joy for one’s own self. This is also referred to as “the evil inclination, (the yetzer hara)” and refers to the shells (klipot), the “other side” (sitra achra), egoism, selfish love and all the opprobrious attributes such as laziness, pride, lust and others. Therefore, the general principle of serving God does not in fact contain many different subjects, as the world thinks, but only these two principle ideas: 1) subduing the will to receive for oneself and 2) acquiring the will to give benefit. All the other matters and natural virtues are only branches which stem from these two main issues: the will to receive for oneself alone, and the will to give. Since we have mentioned the idea of the klipot, (shells), I would like to explain what these are. In his book, Or haBahir, the Baal haSulam defines them as such: The klipot are powers that rule over people, such that they don’t search out deeply any matter until its end, but are satisfied with only a superficial understanding. That is they are satisfied with a very superficial understanding of the outermost peel of the wisdom but they leave the real essence. Therefore, their human intelligence doesn’t serve them to understand the service of God. Their iniquities govern them with the power of the sitra achra, and they do not take sufficient interest in the Torah and the holy wisdom. Therefore they rebel against the holy Blessed One.
Supernals: Ain = Reality = That which is/That I am (All-inclusive = Absolute) - simply being aware of being aware. Since that which is not, is not; That which is, is. Ain Soph = That which is, that is nothing in particular (actual), is by definition everything in general (potential). Ain Soph Aur = It is the nature of the All in One in All to function/serve as a diversified unity of infinite potential, eternally actualizing as a unified diversity or Uni-verse. Sephiroth: 1. Crown = Continuum = Life 2. Eternity 3. Infinity 4. Actuality 5. Potentiality 6. Conversion 7. Experience 8. Awareness 9. Psyche 10. Soma 11. Daath = Gnosis = Being aware of being aware Paths: you have to climb all the way to the top of the Tree if you want a 360 degree all-inclusive god's eye view or perspective on Life. 1st triad: Kether, Chokmah, Binah = Life eternally actualizes infinite potential, because only Eternity can fully embrace Infinity. 2nd triad = Chesed, Gebura, Tipereth: 0. Potential = Being 1. Actual = Becoming (actualized) 3rd triad: Netzach, Hod, Yesod = we actualize our potential by dreaming our experience and experiencing our dream. Dream it, feel it, do it.
Before you get too far into this, watch some Biblical history scholars (MODERN Biblical history scholars). If you haven't read any of Dr. Michael Heisers work, I highly recommend him. He can explain where esoteric gnosticism came from and why.
How would anybody know there are 3 things beyond perception and so on. It seems to mee its more very creative fiction based on real things happening. How would anyone know donething that is beyond our perception...it must be either guessing or its just a story like an adventure. Still its very very creative. Someone back then had a looot of time to think this through. Still its fascinating 😊
Great topic for discussion. I guess in brief , it's a matter of direct experiential confirmation. You postulate and hypothesize the existence of God (Supreme Self / Principle) and practice towards realizing its truth. Someday you realize it directly, if you're passionate enough & single-minded enough about getting there
Ceremonial qabalah magic- no I've never tried, other than using the LBRP. I do create yantras/grids sometimes. But mostly i do the inner magick- alchemy.
Yes- kabbalah signifies the traditional/original jewish system. Qabalah is the "Hermetic" version of kabbalah, it's been expanded on, added to, adapted, over the centuries by occultists. For example the Tarot has been incorporated
@@PaulClermont Actually Hermeticism comes from Kabbalah. The spelling of Kabbalah in English doesn't matter since it is rooted in Hebrew. I think if you look into authentic Kabbalah you might find a whole new perspective on its purpose.

Thanks brothor 🤘
Well done brother
Nice breakdown! Thx 👍🏾
You got it ✌️
I got the sign of silence joke 😆😳😂😂😂 that's hillarious man.
Thank you so much for this video 🙏🙏🙏
No problem ✌️
I love how Final Fantasy used kabbalah references, kinda like pathworking via video game. Daath, I learned, is said to be Malkuth that dropped into physical form. love how thorough you are!
Very good explanation, thanks much I have just started reading about the elements of Qabalah.
Great explanation, much appreciated.
Great explanation man!
Here bc of Foucault’s Pendulum. Thanks for the explanation!
You're welcome! Now I've gotta look that up
@@PaulClermont By Umberto Eco! A wonderful book.
Currently learning the hermetic tarot, you explain everything so well it has really helped me further my knowledge, thank you 🙌🏻
Awesome, hermetic tarot is fascinating- I'd like to make an overview someday.
Meant to do a part 2 for this too, but got sidetracked. Maybe I'll do that next!
@aiden watson if you want to learn more about the esoteric concepts of the tarot... Watch the videos of the tarot on the builders of the adytum... I really want their books and tarot keys on their site.
great vid once again Paul🙏🏽🧘🏾♂️
Thanks man 🤘
Very well done young man, you have a feeling for this
Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much
This was super informative! I loved your enthusiasm and knowledgeability, especially in references and symbolism. I'm hyped for more. Keep doing you!
Thanks Alireza 🙏
Thank you for this. It was well needed and divine timing indeed

Thanks for watching, Francesco 🙏
I came back to this video - So much information and I love that you broke it all down to better understand its entity.
I'm getting the book you recommended @ the beginning of this video.
Thank you so much. 🎉❤🙏🌸
Awesome! Fortune's book is amazing.
Good to know my video has so much value 🙏
What a absolute gem

This was great! I’m just learning about this, You made it quite accessible. Thanks 😀
👌 good to know I explained things clearly! Part 2 is coming soon with more.
Also is that a rottweiler in your photo? We have a German pinscher mix with the same coloration, it looks like her from far away
Yep. A Rottweiler
The best companions 🥰
Thank you 🙏🏻👌🏻
You are an amazing wizard or wisdom 🙏
well covered, I LOOK forward to more
No one talks about the jungian and kabbalah symbolism all over final fantasy, thanks for mentioning something of it
Ich verweigert mich vor our Divine Source, Thoth und seinen Botschaftern wie dir 💫🥰💛😇🌲👌👍
Bless your teachings, thank you for your content 🙏🏼
Thank u so much for this. You got a new subbie just found ur channel ❤
Welcome aboard Ashley 💯
You explained this better than all of the Rabbi’s I’m subscribed to combined! Your gift of teaching is incredible! I can’t believe you explained this in such a concise way in under 20 minutes! I subscribed and liked the video, you are amazing! Ok, going to go watch your other videos now 🤓
Thanks! that's an awesome review, i appreciate it. 🙏👌
Great video
Great video Paul, love the small moments of humor 😂
Thanks Stace 😉 thought I'd spice it up.
Good to see you here & glad u liked this topic!
Do you study Kabalah?
"..Or go immediately up, and follow paths like Bhakti Yoga"
Very interesting, I never viewed it that way -- I like it!
Definitely a topic worth exploring more
Would love a follow up vid🌠
Awesome, noted! 👊
Why is Alyster Crowley there in the bottom of the books?
@@jacobrussell1972 I’d like to see him repent from his sorcery
Damn this was dope . Cool cross reference on softens systems!!!! Hell yes
Thanks brotha ✌
Awesome teacher thank you!
(Where should i start?)
Haven't heard of the other 2 channels but I will look into them!
Thank you for this information king 🙏🏾🐺
Supposedly the book of creation is meant to be used to create a golem which is very interesting.
So would you say that the top three sefirot represent form, function and ultimate understanding and the trinity comes from the interplay and ultimate understanding of origin?
Definitely putting on repeat! Thanks Paul ✨
Hey welcome back Jasmine! That might be a good idea haha. definitely a lot of info in there
Thanks! It’s nice here. I have a beautiful Hermetic Tarot deck I’ve been working with for a couple years now and it is still such an awesome mystery. Definitely looking forward for more on this especially the magick 💫
History is full of history being re written
I want to learn more about Daat, since Marvel Cosmology has been referencing the kabbalah tree of life, mainly Kether, Daath, Tifereth, Yesod and Malkuth
Cool vid. But that painting in the background. Did you do it?? What paints did you use and did you use any UA-cam vid for guidance? Wouldn't mind trying some myself. Thanks
I made it at one of those "paint nights" , where they give you supplies and you follow the insructor. 👌 The paint may have been acrylic or whatever the standard is. I actually ran out of time to finish it but it kind of looks cool that way
Thank you for making this subject interesting to learn and easier to understand :o)))
Dang man looks like you just went from Banjo Kazooie to the divine which is super cool. Glad I found the channel because I feel like I did the same thing in my own life 😅
Lol that's awesome you found my unrelated videogame stuff, I always wonder if anyone will notice. Tbh all those classic games probably helped contribute to our future mystical selfs
@@PaulClermont haha so funny you say that I always wonder that myself. As a 90s baby I feel like I had the path just laid out for me I just wasn’t ready to see it yet.
The more you learn and grow the more fun it is to go back and see all the messages that were laid out.
So question. Do I start at the top or start at the bottom with meditations?
Nice video ❤️. But tell me something...
Working the paths of the Tree, do you begin from up going downwards as I heard a stilled Magickian explained or do you begin from down going upwards?
Will love to hear your concept on that.
Thanks and please respond,
To me it makes sense to begin on the bottom (the 32nd path, from Malkuth to Yesod), since we're raising our consciousness up towards Kether.
I'm not experienced with pathworking tho, so I'm not sure if it's best to go in chronological order, or if you should just work on a path that appeals to you.
There's a book by Israel Regardie and the Ciceros that explains pathworking- i had a copy but it went missing before I got to read it
Watched sailor moon last night and couldn’t ignore all the Kabbalah references also the Rosicrucian 🌹..please advise
That's dope, I advise you keep watching that show! Lol Maybe I'll even check it out for once, since I missed it in the nineties
@@PaulClermont Nice! If you do end up watching it I’d love to hear you’re perspective on the show. It just came out last night on Netflix.
(Ironically i was gonna read Garden of Pomegranates too but it got lost while moving a few years ago)
Both books emphasize different aspects; Fortune's book is perhaps challenging (cognitive) but it's clear organized & thorough -- she gives several chapters of overview and then fully explains each of the 10 Sefirot in the 2nd half of the book.
I recommend "The Path of the Ladder" by Rabbi Yehudah Lev Ashlag.
Thank you
I'm learning tarot and seeing how alchemy, psychology, astrology, and the tree of life is connected to it, it's very interesting :) I have gone to a Jewish temple before but only for visit but I wonder if they discuss the three of life.
I'm curious to know as well- I'm guessing not , since kabbalah has been traditionally an advanced reserved teaching in Judaism. But maybe they mention the tree of life here & there anyway 🤔 .
It is indeed awesome to see all these various systems come together in qabalah :)
@@PaulClermont yes it is I seen some tarot readers use the golden dawn tarot deck and one of the cards has the tree of life
Awesome video!
I feel like, based on what I know, Kabbalah had a HUGE influence on the Gnostics.
Albert Pike tell you what the tree of life is in his book Morals and Dogma. It is the acacia tree and the acacia tree is high in DMT!
you may be onto something real here my friend
Great explication-👍
Hi again Heather, glad you liked this new topic!
How has this helped you personally Paul?
A few ways- the joy of studying an interesting well-constructed philosophy, it has helped clarify my perception of reality and the divine (contributing to my spiritual studies & general wisdom), and then of course there is the unseen effect/benefit of how new knowledge impacts your life from that point on.
Hmm, on finding this video. I wonder what your thoughts would be on the game Lobotomy Corporation or it's subsequent sequel Library of Ruina
Do you know anything about the Qliphoth?
If not then i recommend the channel Universal Mastery!
Nah I've only heard of them, but i am curious to know more. Thanks
@@PaulClermont From RAV Ashlag and the Baal haSulam:
5. The essence of good and the essence of evil
The essence of all the good that is in the world is the will to give benefit.
In his book, Or haBahir, the Baal haSulam defines them as such:
The klipot are powers that rule over people, such that they don’t
search out deeply any matter until its end, but are satisfied with
only a superficial understanding. That is they are satisfied with a
very superficial understanding of the outermost peel of the wisdom
but they leave the real essence. Therefore, their human intelligence
doesn’t serve them to understand the service of God. Their iniquities
govern them with the power of the sitra achra, and they do not
take sufficient interest in the Torah and the holy wisdom. Therefore
they rebel against the holy Blessed One.
Ha!!! i just bought that book!
Supernals:
Ain = Reality = That which is/That I am (All-inclusive = Absolute) - simply being aware of being aware.
Sephiroth:
1. Crown = Continuum = Life
2. Eternity
3. Infinity
4. Actuality
5. Potentiality
6. Conversion
7. Experience
8. Awareness
9. Psyche
10. Soma
11. Daath = Gnosis = Being aware of being aware
Paths: you have to climb all the way to the top of the Tree if you want a 360 degree all-inclusive god's eye view or perspective on Life.
1st triad: Kether, Chokmah, Binah = Life eternally actualizes infinite potential, because only Eternity can fully embrace Infinity.
2nd triad = Chesed, Gebura, Tipereth:
0. Potential = Being
1. Actual = Becoming (actualized)
3rd triad: Netzach, Hod, Yesod = we actualize our potential by dreaming our experience and experiencing our dream.
Dream it, feel it, do it.
Before you get too far into this, watch some Biblical history scholars (MODERN Biblical history scholars). If you haven't read any of Dr. Michael Heisers work, I highly recommend him. He can explain where esoteric gnosticism came from and why.
Sounds cool, thanks for the recommendation
That keychain looked familiar... Hmmm
Another game that has occult stuff is resident evil 5 with it's uroboros monster which got it from the oroboros Egyptian sign
I learned of ouroboros from the anime _Full Metal Alchemist_ . Love all the lore in videogames
@@PaulClermont I've heard that one is good but haven't seen it. I find about tarot cuz of Sakura the cardcaptor lol
Nice hair Paul
Thank you 🤘
How would anybody know there are 3 things beyond perception and so on.
Someday you realize it directly, if you're passionate enough & single-minded enough about getting there
Separating the enlightened mind into 3 aspects is just conceptual assistance . The whole tree is for that
Thanks for explaining this mysterious qabalah well. Do you practice magic?
Ceremonial qabalah magic- no I've never tried, other than using the LBRP. I do create yantras/grids sometimes. But mostly i do the inner magick- alchemy.
Ain is another word for the void ?
I'd say so, yea. Complete nothingness; the Absolute; Infinite potentiality
Ah! It's like the MMA of mystical systems!
Bingo 👊 Mixed Mystical Arts, well-said.
Is there a difference between Kabbalah and Qabalah? If so, what is it?
Yes- kabbalah signifies the traditional/original jewish system. Qabalah is the "Hermetic" version of kabbalah, it's been expanded on, added to, adapted, over the centuries by occultists. For example the Tarot has been incorporated
@@PaulClermont Thank you for explaining! 🙏🕉
Also, realize there is no "K" in the Hebrew language.
@@PaulClermont Actually Hermeticism comes from Kabbalah. The spelling of Kabbalah in English doesn't matter since it is rooted in Hebrew. I think if you look into authentic Kabbalah you might find a whole new perspective on its purpose.
