Thanks Stu and Emmie enjoyed your vlog and thankyou Stu for being so honest about the fertility thing, our life was dealt with problems that we lost three babies, but we had a happy and full life until our 60's but that's another story. Good work yours Keith
Your format in answering the questions was so innovative!! My husband and I both noticed how much more interesting your Q&A was compared to most of the ones we have seen. Your videos are part of my “happy space”……I truly look forward to them every week!
Love this Q&A. Thank you. Great questions. And your candid, heartfelt responses are a credit to you both. Well done. (...no one mentioned Vegemite when talking about sandwiches...!)
Hello Again ☺. I recently spoke to you both about my late husband Terry. And all I want to say is just follow your dreams, always, always ... Frugal, save, upcycle, do your art and creating, if you don't create your soul dies! Hope you are able to stay on your boat. What about staying in Yorkshire, cheaper than London? Come on support this lovely couple, buy their art and subscribe. Take care of each other. Sending love, light and blessings once again to you both xx
Wow, I thought you guys were much younger. Not that you're old but, I hope you both stay young at heart. Now, for the serious stuff... as far as sandwiches, my first thought was peanut butter and jelly. Different but made for each other. Oh, and are good on bread, toast, crackers and narrowboats. 😊 And about your drawings... just a suggestion but, living on the canals, boats are kind of like the buildings you used to drive by in London so maybe start incorporating the boats that catch your eye in your travels into your drawings. 🤷♂
Aww thank you! What a lovely sandwich suggestion! And stay tuned as I am drawing narrowboats, but I'm not completely happy with how I'm doing it yet. Physically they are very different from buildings! X
I would say inspiration comes from the heart. Then when I want to draw something I take a lot of photos and use multiple photos as reference while drawing.
I missed the chance of asking a question but I'd have asked if you have experience with other types of boats other than narrowboats or if your experience on narrowboats has made you want to try something else too?
Good question! We don't really have any prior experience with boats, I (Stu) went on a holiday boat in the broads as a kid and loved it, but I've always just liked boats. I'd love to do some sailing, I also really like Dutch barges, I could see doing some sort of refit project at some point. Emmie would also like to do some other boating, but would prefer to be a passenger!

Where does your inspiration for your art come from. Is this from photographs or memories when exploring?
