I mainly stalk/still hunt in NH. A grunt call is easily one of the most valuable pieces of equipment to me. I've had great success using it and don't find calling too much is detrimental. Deer are naturally curious and often times will come closer to investigate. You're right, you have to know when to use it. It's all about experience and learning from failure. Great channel!
I’ll be binge watching your videos lol I have chronic Lyme disease and want to get into hunting so I can source more of my own meats so I have a lot to learn
I have been a predator of WTD since I was 7yr old .WOW thats 65yrs. I am extremely blessed to be part WTD.Icould go on,on,on.I dont watch vids re. WTD mainly because most of it is frankly not very accurate in the total realm of aWTD. I want all of you who are on a passonate journey to ultimately become and LOVE WTD this young man is worth your time re.achieving that goal. I know he knows some truth RE WTD
Last November I fell asleep and must of been lightly snoring and or breathing loudly, I woke up to the sound of aggressive snort/weazing sounds. I repeated his sounds the best I could and after a few minutes a nice 4x4 stepped out from the brush 60 yds away. He`s hanging on my wall now. Go figure!
@@InformedOutdoors well sadly I only get to hunt 2 days out of the year and that’s on public land so I haven’t got a deer in a decade but I jus like being in the outdoors
I’ve have gotten a lot more deer by calling than not. 63 yr old great grandmother who ground hunts. I use doe calls. Have had as many as 7 come out at once.

What part of NH do you live in? Just moved to Stratford county 5 months ago. It’s truly a beautiful state!

The most organic meat you can get! Watch as many hunting videos and read some good books. Also try to find a local mentor to take you out.

If you think the deer are stressed or on edge, you can do some turkey calls to relax the deer

Honestly I’m sick and tired of not getting a deer and I never call so I’m looking into calling this year
I know the feeling. Just have some patience, and put in the time scouting and you'll get one.

Do you use estrus bleats or just a regular doe bleat?
Tip number 1. Don't call a deer.
