3:11 Horizontally=parallel to the ground, vertically=perpendicular to the ground. Your very uncertain looking technician is inserting his board horizontally, not vertically. The spec calls for the board to be inserted into the stockpile vertically. This is not proper procedure.

Not to mention not removing the slough prior to sampling, and taking care to not drop material when transferring to the receptacle. There are many inconsistencies with standard practice in this video.
