- A brief introduction to the triple burner (san jiao/三焦) in Traditional Chinese Medicine by Danny Blyth of the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. This is a review for 1st year acupuncture students.
Danny you are such a life saver! explains all those complex concepts so clearly and visually. Beats all our lecturers and readings. There aren't many TCM educational videos on the internet. Thank you so much for making such an effort to provide us with your teachings.
A pleasure. Glad you found it useful.
I can read and write traditional form of the Chinese characters. It’s very fascinating to see how Danny interprets the concepts of triple burners by explaining the important particle of each character first and then the audience can understand the meaning from the ancient text.
Very impressive. Thanks Danny!
@@shiangchen-williams3874 same here! wish more ppl teach that way. unfortunately my school's teachers can't even pronounce the common CM terms correctly, let alone embracing the beauty and depth of Chinese philosphy, art, culture, words which are very much core of CM
Today my acupuncturist place needles in my triple burner for the first time! I felt wind leave my body instantly and it was amazing!!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Excellent!
I have a broken knuckle on my baby finger on my right hand, could this be causing me eustation tube problems in my right ear?
An interesting thought. I always use SI-17 when treating Eustachian tube problems and would certainly consider the SI channel.
Thanks! A good overviel.
Tha you - glad you liked it.
Isn’t that the vagus nerve in western medicine ?
Certainly some cross over.
