- This past week has felt like 50 weeks have been crammed into 1.
Newborns are tough work - Little L here has been crying a bit - but whatever storm he has faced appears to be calming - he has made it through as a happy bub... until the next saga ofcourse.
Amidst the adversities and trials, I decided to take a look at Little L's very first tear drops. I was curious to see what they would reveal! I was amazed and I hope you are as well!

For anyone wondering, the song in the background is called “snowfall”, it’s my favorite song and it helps so much when I’m having a panic attack or just in a stressful situation. The slowed, sped up, and the normal version of the song are all really good, you should listen to it :)

So what is causing/what is actually crystalizing here? Is it the salts/other minerals in the water that is crystalizing? Or is it maybe the salt/other minerals reacting with the water or reacting while the water is evaporating in order to crystalize?
Sorry, just wondering what is actually causing the crystalization we are seeing here.
Oh and so how does any of this show that it is healthy and good for the child? I mean obviously having tears that are "normal", salty tears with the needed proteins and antibodies etc sounds great. But wondering if any of this that we see is a sign of the child being healthy or even just a sign that the tears (as you mention) will protect the baby's eyes.
