One of the reasons I like your videos is that you share your specific ways of enjoying books (and I like how you spend time talking about this! You read different books differently) Watching your videos opens me up to acquiring new ways to enjoy reading to add to my existing ways ❤
Oh I'm glad to hear that! Every genre and book (and media!) has its purpose and I think you can get something out of everything so you just have to keep an open mindset for it all.
Okay... I heard enough so far to stimulate my interest to read this book. I don't want to listen further because I don't want to know how it ends. 😄I need to put it on my TBR list and then come back to this video after I have read it (or listened to it, if I can find a free audio book version...)
@tokyochemist I did try to listen to an audio book but the speech wasn't clear enough. I am better off finding a used edition. If I borrow it from the library I am sure to have to keep renewing it or else racking up a fine... 🙂
@@tokyochemist 7 June update: Today my granddaughter treated me to an early birthday present (my birthday isn't until July 1st): she bought a beautiful hardcover copy of "Middlemarch"!! 🥰

I love this book . One of my favourites in life.
Oh wow. I enjoyed it but not sure I could have it my favorites list. What attracts you to it so much?

It's a lovely read to take your time on and not rush through. Just sit and enjoy participating in the characters' lives.
