There are reasons for that but it is changing. I am seeing more and more black women marrying other races of men. It’s still new for us but believe me in the next 10+ years the younger generation of black girls will be in interracial marriages and have biracial babies. My generation of black women are still in bondage when it comes to dating out, because of fear and insecurities. These younger generation of black girls are dating all races of men. I see it with my own eyes. I went to a fourth July parade and I saw many young black girls with white and Latino men. I think that colorism is blown out of proportion . I’ve been black my whole life had homeboys cousins, all kind of man conversations. In my circles, a woman’s complexion was never a debate only when describing a person color comes in as a description. and I think foreigners have a biased against Americans in general in especially black Americans once again. I’ve been on this planet, long enough, and there are effed up men of all races colors, and nationalities, but they love to target the black American.
Skin tone isn't on my list. I love dark skinned women.

if men are hunters and women are the bait the bait lays the playing field for the hunter. if women in general don't require most of the things that are traditional. why would a hunter obey standards for hunting that doesn't lead to prey? in other words chivalry, courtship, etc. is based on the woman decisions. men just follow suit.
