I have two pairs. He's exactly right. I will say that as an elementary PE teacher, this shoe is NOT meant for lateral movement. The outsole will start to come up if you are cutting/moving side to side and the back heel cushioning gets chewed up pretty quick. Every day wear, walking around during vacation? Not going to find a better shoe.
Hi mr reed
Hi mr Reed!
Hi Mr. Reed
did you work at wildwood forest?
We love you Mr Reed 😁
not only the most comfortable but by far the bounciest, energy returning, fun to run in daily trainer. especially for heavier runners that need max cushion. If you can find one on sale def grab it.
Did you have upper and midsole separation issue?
@@yudhard none so far!
@@yudhard I just did with my pair. I think I have around 150mi on my pair
@@michaeltran2743 only ran 10km on my brand new pair then had the upper and midsole separation on the right side, return it to the nike store and got a brand new pair, had the same problem but now on the left side 😂
I think maybe because my foot landed on the lateral side first then roll inward a lil bit, but still nike need to put some attention on it
Do u think these r better then new balance more foam v3 or hoka one one ? I want these but I don’t know
I have had 4 pairs of this shoe. Two pair had issues with the rubber sole ripping or tearing up in some places. One pair company replaced. The other pair I still wear with damage. I have (CIDP) nerve damage in my feet. Pain when I walk every day. I can not say enough good about this shoe. It has given me so much comfort when I walk. I can now walk almost pain free. I will be buying the new shoe when it comes out for sale in the US. I am wearing a pair of them as I type this comment. I wear them every day. I told my doctor at Duke about them and how much they help. I am sure they could help others with nerve pain in feet. I was truly blown away at the comfort they provide me. I tried several other brands but others don't even come close. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever wore.
Any comparison to other brands appreciated. Hoka, Adidas, etc. Thanks for sharing
@@AuRowe I have been reading up on comparisons and this is aparantly the softest shoe of them all out right now. But ppl have mentioned that it can be too soft at times. It is better suited as a walker but not so much a stander.
I have nothing but love for this shoe. My V1s were loved to death through a high mileage freshman year of XC/TF. I’m excited for my V2s to come next week. Thanks for the review!
I saw your top ten most comfortable shoes and you had the first version on there! I bought a pair and never looked back! Thanks for the awesome reviews!
I felt a bit like I was bouncing too much with these in the beginning, but because of inflammation in my knees and being a bit overweight, I felt like this one is perfect for when I'm walking a lot throughout the day. Now I'm working on getting down in weight, so that I can walk more with "normal" shoes again, as I much prefer having superb control. These are great, but best when it comes to just walking forward, and they kinda make my walking technique a bit awkward. At least in the beginning.
I literally just got these same exact shoes today. I saw them by accident as I was leaving the Nike store and my oh my they are the most comfy shoes I ever worn in my life. It is literally like walking on clouds. I will keep buying these for the rest of my life. 100% recommend.
You still wear this shoe?
@elizabethw.454 no, they worn out because I used them alot. I haven't bought anymore of these because I haven't found a new color that's appealing to me. They are nice tho!
Just bought mine on sale, and Seth couldn't have said it better. From how useless that external foam around the ankle area is to how stupid comfortable the ZoomX is. Best part about it IMO is there's no need to break the shoes in, right out of the box the FK and especially the ZoomX feels how they should feel.
Camera quality is crazy. Wonderful video.
I got two pairs. Most comfy shoes I ever worn speaking of cushion. 180 is a lot, but I guess it is not that hard to find a deal. I got my pairs, 100 + tax on ASOS, another 130 on stockX. Thank you Seth, for the recommendation.
Just walked around for 5 hours at a science center/zoo in 100 degree weather in the og ones. My wife wore flat sandals and suffered . Only complaint with the invincible run is that they squeak terribly unless I powder the insoles.
I though it was the invincible until I try the Salomon Glide Max, it is on par with the Nike pair but more eye appealing, I use both for running on daily basis. Anyway, nice review, can wait to try this one !
Bought my mom a pair of these that are blue for like $128 from Nikes site. I don’t normally do Nike but the reviews seem great so hopefully she loves em.
The QC issue at 2:58 You can see on the ZoomX tag is not balanced. if you're paying 180$ and still not getting a perfect finish i don't know what you can do.
I’ve been wearing that shoe for the past year and has been my favorite shoe ever, definitely getting this new one
They just look so much better with that color way
I rock the Invincible 1s in black/white. Got em for $100 and have worn them almost every day for about a year. The Vomero 16s are also wonderful!
Did you have seperation problem?
@@narektigranyan5142 no separation issues on either one
@@mattscott4382 thanks for quick answer, and i would also like to know if you train with ythem or use as an everyday shoes?
@@narektigranyan5142 Just everyday shoes.
if the outsole stays on the shoe it would be so much better I have the first gen and they are traded after only 5 months I wear them as a nurse just wish they were more durable
I have the originals and if I could only buy one pair of shoes a year, hands down, it would be these! Old or new, nothing in my collection (including Hoka) comes close to the soft ride of these. My favorite ride of 21 and soon to be 22 as well.
I have 8 pairs. Not that i am rich but i have Plantar fasciitis and was nearly invalid: could not walk, could not work. I was crying. Then i searched UA-cam and found the invincible. I changed ALL my shoes for these. Now i can walk, run, play baseball, football, I am SO HAPPY. This shoe saved my life. I will continue to buy more of same. I love them !
Do they make a squick sound when you walk on them ?
@@bobbrown-so2gt No, they are very quiet. A +++++++++++
Do you still wear this shoe?
@@elizabethw.454 I have discovered that with my BMI or Body Mass Index being high, the Shoes selfdestroy in less time that i was expecting them. They seems to be GLUED and that glue after some washing loosen. I CANNOT reccomend the Shoes any Longer. The 2024 year come with better cushioned shoes of another brand that I will be testing soon. Please dont buy them and never put them inside a washing machine that will soften the shoes into no recovery.
I think the main market for this shoe is heavy weight walkers and low weight hard runners. For low weight, the bounce won't be as noticeable because there isn't enough weight for it to spring back as much. For heavy weight, the bounce won't be as noticeable because of the extra weight keeping it compressed. But for anyone in an average weight, this shoe will bounce too much and not offer enough stability. And you'll probably get too much rolling in your ankle if you're heavy weight. What they should do to fix it is change the density of the sole in certain areas to be stiffer. Like on the outer heal and inner toe areas. That would add enough stability that your feet won't roll as much when you step. Too much cushion can be a bad thing, you need support. Doesn't matter if it's a chair, a bed, or shoes; it always holds true. No support means things are free to shift out of place, like your spine or your joints.
Have you tried the Mizuno Wave Sky 5?
I’m a shoe salesman at a national sporting goods store, and I honestly believe that it’s the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever put on my feet.
This is the most slept on shoe in 2021.
I wore these for the Rome Marathon and let me tell you... I PRed without training and was actually my first race that I finished and felt fine due to how insanely comfortable and bouncy they were. Can't wait for hopefully next year's model being more improved
I think this knit and midsole shape look WAY better than the original model. I think this iteration wasnt about changing ths comfort, but changing the looks
Yeah but they are so ugly. I prefer the air max 1 and air max 1 ultra flyknit! Much nicer and also walking great!
@@janduller4722 I love air max 1s, but the comfort is in no way comparable to these.
@@zachDH85 wich nikes are the second best shoes for best comfort? air jordans 1?
@@janduller4722 you are so off... lmao
@@ssszou what you mean?
I tried them on in a shop and walked around for maybe 10 minutes. They are really like walking on a fluffy cloud but it was too much bounce for me. They don't feel like they have enough stability with all that uncontrollable bounce. I went for Pegasus 39s after trying both.
I haven't run in these yet Pegasus 39 is my running go to currently but I can see exactly what you mean.
I tried it at the Nike store today and my goodness! This is the most comfy and cushioning shoe ever! Bought a pair right away in the blue color way.
...WOWWW ..it's unbelievable they are the MOST COMFORTABLE cushioned and springy at the same time , shoes /sneaker , I have ever tried on my feet ( the invincible #2 !!! If there's any one on the fence , it's like nothing else , for me and those especially all day on there feets , and or knee injury , THIS IS IT !!!! don't look any further.,thanks for the video.,blessings.
I work all day on my feet , I had called nikes ,cause the works dress code they must be all solid black , so I'll have to take them ,to the shoe place to paint.,,regardless of the price.., compare to the addidas./ night day difference it's like walking on clouds with a slight spring..I'll be buying 2-3 of them ,they feel amazing.
I tried on the Invincible Run for the first time ever last week. They are the most comfortable shoes ever.
That color way is a lot better than the old one you have though!!
Finally once the new model releases i can buy the prev model with discount
I’d like to just say that super cushioned super squishy shoes really are not good for your feet outside of running. They are generally just made for running, when your feet are making hard impact on the ground.
Yes! And even then for many foot types the huge pillow heel actually does more harm than good.
I’ve been on the original for over a year! Best running shoe ever for me and my heavy stepping feet
Bro I bought that same exact pair and they’re one of my favorites. So comfortable. Great for my days off. Thanks!
those edits in the beginning were pretty funny you should keep doing them😁
Just ordered my pair and am excited to finally get it once it arrives
I prefer this color than the colors on v1
Three pairs of Salomon you should look into are the Glide Max, Pulsar trail pro and the Phantasm. The ciele collaboration are great.
They look like a Nike version of adidas ultra boost
Your right I have the previous pair. Super comfortable
Just bid on a set of the original ones in Black Metallic Gold, and I didn’t even know about them until you talked about them in your comfortable shoe list, hopefully I get them so I have a great gym kick!
My math teacher has those and the tech guy has 150+ pairs es and came in waiting the black cement 3s yesterday
That road to 1 mill subs💯👌🏼
Does it come in all black 😭
These are my go to for wearing to Disneyland! They are a feet saver!
Any activity that requires standing/walking/running for long periods, this shoe can handle!
Runners perspective here, i just bought the version one, ran three times for total only 10km then there’s upper and midsole separation on the right shoe, return it to the store and got new pair from store, ran twice then same case happened now on the left shoe, ran it again then now both sides had upper midsole separation 😂
I just ordered the v2. Will report back when I feel I have ran enough miles on them.
I think it might depend on the color way. For whatever reason, some of the different color uppers and soles were harder and more brittle on the original. My black and off-white pair separated but my white and black speckled pair held up forever. Weird.
@@na-gr8rg my pair was the “oreo” liked colorway, it still broken 😂
The color-way and look is dope.
Nike Renew run is also very comfortable and looks similar.
Excellent detailed review Seth!
You should try the N.B SuperComp trainer, softer ad bouncier than the Invincible!!
Man the older i get the more my sneaker collection is going from jordans, and sb's to running sneakers like these, ACG's, and ultra boost lol. I need the support!! 😂
If sucks if you actually use it hurts back of your heel
Love and hate relationship with the Invincible Run 1 so a bit hesitant about buying these. Very very comfortable but after about a month of use I feel like they’re completely falling apart. Have been searching for reviews to see if anyone has similar experience as me.
It’s very common for zoomx to fall apart. Especially if you’re heavy and/or exert a lot of lateral pressure on them
I’ve ran 200km in them
and they still feel brand new
After roughly 150mi on my pair, the uppers are coming apart from the midsole
I coppd finally for about $94 after finding only 1 pair on the hash wall for like $64 but a whole size down.... unfortunately had to return em but I wish I woulda just ordered em bacc then they woulda lost part of the discount I think like $79 instead of $64 but I luvd the volt pair.... ended up coppn the teal pair and they're dope af and soooo comfy I don't even fw my old comfy boost jointz.... I originally heard about em and coppd for my bm cuz she was on her feet all day at work and she wore her old boost and air max jointz into the damn ground so for her birthday I got her a pair and she luvd em so now just need a pair for my kid so if we go somewhere with alot of walking like Disney we won't have a horrible experience like last time in retro 11z that even with insole swaps were killin our feet.... I do eventually wanna copp a pair of one of the new versions colorwayz r kinda dope and some im not feelin.... but dope review #Kixoholix413Salute
Lmfao, the air plane seats photoshopped to you, and yourself passing by you, Halarious
I have 4 pairs of this good for people have pre existing back and knee injury thanks nike
The issue I had with last year’s model was the rubber on the shoe started peeling off after heavy wear
Did you have upper and midsole separation issue?
@@yudhardNo it's mainly the outsole separating from the midsole for me. I've already had to apply shoe glue to many spots, but in general, still a great shoe, just a bit annoying because you gotta fix it with some shoe glue every once in a while.
@@KOKOBC i had upper and midsole separation issue, twice, even with the new pair i’ve got from from nike store after i returned the first one. Performance wise is okay, but really bothering my eyes 😂
I figure I'll need 3 pairs a year, presuming that I'll always want a clean pair for work and social outings.
I got the last pair, and based on this review, I won't be upgrading. It's just not worth it until my current pair need replacing.
After seeing this video this morning, I went to the Nike store today to try on the Invincible Run 1. And it was ridiculously squishy. It almost felt TOO squishy and spongey though. They're comfy shoes yeah, but I'm not sure if I like the sensation. The squishiness felt like overkill. I like UB DNA better.
I decided to get the Nike Metcon 4. Very comfortable with stability and coat only around $120. I'm ony feet all day at work and use to wear air Max all the time until I came across these Metcon's. If you get a chance try them out.
DNA is really good. I got the 5.0 and they are great!
@@slkric1724 the metcon 4? For work on your feet all day? That one won’t last long term. Metcons are amazing training shoes but provide no long term comfort or support. It’s meant for cross fit, lifting, agility, HIIT, box jumps and all that stuff. In terms of support for standing or being on your feet all day definitely want a running shoe since they are built to withstand force. ASICS, Brooks, Pegasus, Vomero, ultra boost are just of the models that will last you awhile and provide adequate support.
@@solepurpose4228
Well so far so good. I have been wearing them every day for two months now. My work day consist of a mixture of walking, driving, sitting, going up & down stairs. I feel like I do cross fit everyday. LOL. 👍🏽
@@slkric1724 that’s awesome they are working so far! And haha that is a lot going on each day. Well if nothing else, you have some examples of options that could work for you going forward. I have been working on footwear most of my working life. So I know the pain points you mention and have went through many trials myself to find stuff that works and is supportive. Have a good day and blessings to you!
Wow, very nice colorway! I will get this when it comes out.
I read some reviews that said the upper and lower parts separate after a couple of weeks.
your not wrong about the nike but the NB fuel cell is right there with it
8:26 ...something looks off there...? I still love this shoe as my daily driver :)
Just received my pair of Flyknit 2 in the same colorway (grey, yellow) today - and they seem to be a bit more firm than last years model... They are not quite as soft/cushioned... Kind of disappointed...
can we get a review for the military black 4s pls
Love this colourway ! Hope we get it in the uk
New Balance 1080 > Nike Invincible, but what about vs Ultraboost 22?
I always wear these in the gym, thou do need to test them on a road run
actually, I'll put them on next time I ran, why not? these are great too, I remember once I met 5:40min/km pace at a rather comfortable stepn, however, running with the Invincibles in the track? the track already is bouncy, plus the shoe bouncy, perhaps too much bouncy? We'll find out later or tomorrow...
No need for the upgrade to the second version. Nike did offer periodic discounts on the invincible run in selected colorways. There’s a triple black colorway with a touch neon, pinkish orange and blue colorblocking at the heels, which looks totally fire. It costs $10 bucks more though.
I got that pair and I’m glad I jumped on them, I haven’t seen them anywhere since and they sold out on Nike within the week they dropped them
@@Tyrsblade I missed out on the game royal blue one, which was sold out and couldn’t find it anywhere else. (Maybe there is one but hardly any size left) The triple black one can still be found at the resale market in certain sizes.
They look comfortable from the on foot view.
Try the New Balance Fresh Foam More V3. The V4 is coming out later this year.
i've got around 35 joggers of ultraboosts, NBs, assics, UAs,and nikes. i still feel like getting these wtf, seems so comfy😁
I have Arthritis in my feet and i need the most comfortable trainers, So i will try a pair of these
Definitely getting me a pair. just trying to figure which colorway to go with . Also, wish Apthcry had some other cuts of socks. not a huge fan of the taller socks.
Best overall gym shoe? Wont be doing powerlifting..
I have the Exeter edition. Beautifull and super comfortable
I think brands like Altra, On, Brooks, Xero Shoes, & New Balance each have multiple models that outclass anything Nike has comfort wise. Nike had a history of reducing blood flow by pinching the toe box. Their heel designs are also so aggressive which causes many people knee and ankle issues. I think these companies have Nike’s number. They’re using better materials and understand their audience. Nike just seems to want to do to much.
I will say that Nike model looks pretty damn good. I love this color way. Reminds me of the Orange Nike Box era
Brooks💀
I bought the 1st gen of this sooo comfy like walking on a very puffy material 🤘
This is the best shoe I ever wore. It is beyond confortable, you dont want to take it off
I had a pair and I loved them but I returned them bc the back of the shoe since it sticks out like half an inch kept getting caught on stairs and made me feel like I was gonna fall every time I went down stairs Nike needs to trim down the back
Love your videos, keep up the good work Seth!

Gonna make a bet with a friend watching this video back. We’ll keep track of all the times he says “shoe” in the video, tally it up, and depending on whether it ends on an odd or even number either one of us gets to throw that many free punches at each other. One of us isn’t surviving.
Seth when is the next $20 sneaker collection video going to be uploaded?
I know right
Did I what is it?
Great Video, Love all your content!!
I don't like tying my shoes so I get the slip on ones but I still have to put them on. They aren't really slip ons after you have worn them down.
Is it suitable for walking.daily use and work that beed to stand all day?is it stable and firm?too much plush or not?
The price point is too much for comfort use. Unless you have a condition or you are a serious runner then go with this. If it's just for everyday comfort, pegasus lineup and vomeros at discount will do. But for me i sold almost all of my running shoes and bought huaraches instead.
I think this is a very personal analysis. Arch, weight, foot width, etc.
Pegasus are more conservative, but that mesh upper is atrocious. It needs to be knit. It's not only ugly when you step because it basically creases all over, it also isn't that breathable either. They're a bit hyped up.
Lol thanks I literally just watched the old video
Love the grey and orange upper, but that dark grey midsole just looks boring. The midsole could use some orange accents.
I own the first version, as a runner I have to say this shoe offers no stability whatsoever. I would not recommend the shoe to any beginner nor intermediate runner. Experienced runners might have developed the extra strength required to counteract the incredible instability of this shoe.
Did you have upper and midsole separation issue?
@@yudhard I did.
What if you only do walking and not running? Would you recommend this shoe?
@@jonathanmatthew5631 not really. I think you can find way better options. If you're looking at it for the cushioning, I would recommend Hoka Bondi as a better choice. A lot more stable, same amount of cushion.
@@jonathanmatthew5631 would be love and hate relationship with this shoes, love the underfoot feelings of it, but hate when it feel so wobbly to walking on

Nice, just picked these up for 80$😁
I just boght them today and are super comfortable!✌️
Might want to get these do a sole swap with off white racers 👀
Regarding Nike's 30 day return policy: you incorrectly made it sound like you could really test them out fully by wearing them for 30 days on runs, walks, and otherwise (which sounded fantastic), but according to their website: "shoes must be unworn...and in a resaleable condition."
has the policy just changed? Previously, Nike did allow u to use the shoes and return them within 30 days. edit: just checked and yeah they have changed their policy. I guess it is a reaction to falling revenue.
@@leisurefarm Turns out it's listed as the above mentioned on their website, but when I talked to a rep in their live chat, they said you can indeed wear them/run in them/etc for 30 days. And in fact, because of the holidays, right now you get 60 days
@@Tom_from_Midtown thanks!
