This kit sounds absolutely perfect. This video is the reason I got hyperdrive sizes. They are just much more punchy with more attack and feel much better under my hands and sticks. I got a 5 piece tama starclassic BB hyperdrive with the new updated hardware tama brought down from the star series drums and couldn’t be more happier. Finally found and own the kit of my dreams, and plus it didn’t break the bank. Best bang for your buck on the market. I got the exact sizes and exact finish I wanted shipped straight from the tama warehouse for just 1900. Now that’s a steal for the quality and the durability and top notch sound, feel, looks you get. The hardware and build quality would suggest it costs 10 times more than what tama charges. People hate on tama for moving some of their operation to china and other parts outside of Japan but I see no drop off in quality and it is the reason they are killin everyone right now cause other drum companies just can’t compete and match that price for that quality. So thank you tama. Best drum company in the world. Tama all day everyday for life.

Actually, the 4/4 beat is played polyrythmic over a 3/4 beat. Notice his hihat tapping with his left foot. In other words: The guitar plays 5/4 over a drumpattern of 4/4 over a beat of 3/4
@@danielluxi9899 Its a shuffled 5/4 over a straight 4/4, so the 5/4 has 15 8th-triplets and the 4/4 has 16 16th as the smallest rythmic element. So a 4th in the 5/4 is only 3/4 as long as a 4th in the 4/4 massure, because they play the 8th-triplest as fast as the 16th in the 4/4 beat (thats what metric modulation is about). So overall the pattern is 15over16 (smallest rythmic elements).
I was expecting something totally different and of course he kept time anyway,I Like the alternative beat expression and am loading yet another Mendo bongload for another listen, louder this time.OjibwayBongSmile likes...
Wtf is this genre, it’s like djent, with jazz sounds sick, interesting permutations, amazing playthrough, only if the instrumental sample was free!!! I would totally love it
I wish drummers had musical choice - nobody is dying to shred behind the kit to generic elevator dentist jazz. I wish this drum fad would phase away...
His work in Obscura is amazing!
One of the most musical and technically advanced drummers out there. In any genre... Period👏
Hes so fucking good! Technique, dynamics, feel, groove, and hes totally feeling it

Remind me on Jarzombek and Virgil a lot.. Kickin ass
Panzerballett ist so genial, Wahnsinn.
His precision and driving force is amazing. This is by far the best version of Take Five I have ever heard.
I like how his rack toms dance with him
He has quite a lot on that one stand! LOL
@@dracdrum I was just going to comment it’s simply because of too much weight lol

axenrot is already an excellent drummer
No better time than now!
Whats the name of that jazz song?
Take five
What is the name of this piece or the original jazz song?
take five
Thank you 8man!
This is my first time watching this guy.. he reminds me Virgil Donati style of playing.. wow! Amazing!
lol. You gotta be kidding.
Donati slaughters this guy
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 he most definitely does not slaughter him, lmao. Checkout Sebastians other work.
Also, have you seen Ray Hearne from Haken? Amazing similar style
🤟
Cool
Is he playing a 4/4 beat over a 5/4 song? Stunning

?? Is this out-of-sync, hi-jacked, or some sort of joke?
drummers these days....
I think he's a good drummer, but I found some parts to repetitive
