I spend so much time playing over tracks and I have to say, this is probably the best backing track I've ever played to. The melody and chord changes are perfect for my style and I feel like I can try just about any idea or technique over it and it still sounds great. Well done!
Totally agree, it’s amazing with the natural minor scale. Every note seems to fit perfectly in context. Most backing tracks I feel get overly complicated with chord changes and ruin that.
I cant thank you enough for puttinh these together, they really help to help me get my groove back with these wonderful track i will most certainly be using this youtube page to help me with my idea.
Is there a name for that chord progression in the chorus? I keep coming across it and I know how to play it and use it, but having a way to refer to it would be nice.
Man, you don’t have a single bad backing track. I broke a sweat to this one. By the way, you cost me like 2k in guitar purchases. Ha! Keep up the great work, man. You rock!
Hi I’m from the future. 2020 SUCKS! A virus wipes out over a million people and world war 3 almost starts. Then Australia burns down and racists are exposed across the country after the death of an unarmed black man. So have fun! P.S. Hong Kong revolts against China as well and there is a huge explosion in Beirut.
Awesome bro, great work. I think for clarity though, that Bm#5 is easier if it's just called a G... cuz it is. Great progression, whatever you call it!
great sounding tracks as always! would be even better if you don't show the chord names and scale suggestions Just follow your belief: "let your fingers do the talking"
Newton Lee DAeolian is not really what a beginner would start with! Its a little more advance. Most ppl i teach i recommended Minor pentatonic at first as this cover alot of popular rock and metal. But some may find is easy
Would like to see some Heavy Metal Blues from ya if you ever get some time to do so. I've been searching every place possible & only find regular blues, rock blues, etc. etc. Never any REAL heavy blues. Do you have Patreon account brotha? If not, should look into it, lets people donate per video & I personally would DEFINITELY be more willing to donate in that manner. If you make a Patreon account, guarantee you'll see more support to your channel. Easier for lot of folks to donate a few bucks here & there per video, and believe me.. it adds up quick.
Interesting, I'll see if I can come up with something suitable! I did have a Patreon set up but it didn't get garner too much support. It's since been shut down and I do plan on re-launching it in the not-so-distant future when I've got a few more subs :)

This is my favorite backing track I ever played. Just let out all my cheesy pentatonic blues licks. Love it!

I noodled over this for its entire duration with an acoustic... And while it probably sounded horrible, it was real fun
Holy moly! Wore my poor fingers out after about 4 minutes... time for some hand strengthening exercises :D
Another wicked track! You have done more for my playing in two months than the last 30 years of aimless noodling.
This track rocks to jam with!

Awesome bro, great work. I think for clarity though, that Bm#5 is easier if it's just called a G... cuz it is. Great progression, whatever you call it!
True that :)
You can play a G on it or also B,C,F, which is not a G anymore and sounds good
Rock.n tastic.
Why C major scale sound very well on these cool chord progressions? Can anybody explain it to me please? Thank you
C7 would be the chord played in this progression ;)

Cheers bro 💪
Great man!!! Thank you for sharing. Is it in standard tuning or drop D/C#?
Edgard Ucha drop D
Funny cuz the guitar track on this sounds like rob chapmans playing and tone
Rob Chapman is a melodic metal singer *and* player, so that makes sense.
It's kind of grungy
@@toothyserpent you can be not sure, but Dorje kinda speaks for itself.

Hi.
Is it possible to use your songs as soundtrack for youtube videos? (I'd give credit, of course).
great sounding tracks as always!
would be even better if you don't show the chord names and scale suggestions
Just follow your belief: "let your fingers do the talking"
Newton Lee Its for ppl that are beginners too! Im fine as ive been playing for 20yrs but others may need help with scales.
The progression itself dont seem beginnerish~
Newton Lee DAeolian is not really what a beginner would start with! Its a little more advance. Most ppl i teach i recommended Minor pentatonic at first as this cover alot of popular rock and metal. But some may find is easy
Newton Lee Also download guitar scales for free on android or ios it will open doors for you!
Did anyone figure out the intro riff.?Its drop D by the way lol.
