Wang Ki Chun was right handed but used to do a left-handed kouchi makikomi very often as well. And it's quite common for right handers to do left-sided ippon seoi nage since most prefer it with a lapel grip instead of a sleeve grip.
I should probably upload that Korrel video, vut I feel Korrel does the complete oppposite of Van t End in terms of which side to do kochi makikomi with.
Like Bruce Lee once said; I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. My style is comparable to van 't End, everyone at the dojo knows my throws, but still am able to sneak in a drop seoi here and there or a ko uchi maki komi because I really love those throws and always practice those extra.
He has seoi nage, sode tsuri komi goshi, ko uchi maki komi and he won the world championship finals with an o-soto-ko-soto combo. More variety then many I would say.
i do think he's left handed. Every throws are left sided even tho he actually have a right type grip... kinda weird but beautifull judo. Anyway Very good video as usual
Wow... what a great journey in Paris for Van t End ! Great video ...well done ! Cheers..
Always love to watch Noel, great judo style with beautiful throws and lots of heart!!
Couldn't agree more!
Did he really beat his opponent by exhausting him? That is....honestly amazing!!

I like his smart Judo.
It's amazing that the dude basically only has two techniques and can go really far in the competition.

Weakest division in men’s international judo
😂😂??!
If Igolnikov or Sherazdishvili were around Van’T End wouldn’t place. -90kg is a joke compared to 15-20 years ago
Nope. Every division is dimensions above the last decades. Sports evolve
Van 't End easily beat Igolnikov before
