That CHARLIE MUFFIN is a brilliant movie. One of the best TV movies ever made…

All Aboard is an iconic children's album, and becoming quite collectable these days :)

There was no TV in our house in 1979 so I don't think I will have seen any of these at the time.

I'm remembering some of these adverts, and their accompanying theme music.

The Crest ad at 3:27 is quite stunning. Blonde mum is pure Miss Babs from Acorn Antiques 'from what I've heard they've done tests which prove that regular brushing with Crest can mean up to 30 percent fewer fillings' is just such natural, everyday dialogue

Nevermind “you need crest” your dentist would probably tell you you need fillings anyway even if you didn’t, because it’s the 70’s and no one is regulating them so you had to take their word for it!!!!

The dark-haired lady is talking like she didn't realise her kid is suppossed to brush his teeth.

This reminds that preventative dentistry didn't come in until the late 90's - so many fillings - gets expensive when you get older

    Esso jingle by Jeffy Wayne.
Rolf Harris voicing the 'All Aboard!' ad.
Heineken using the music from 'Dixon Of Dock Green' ('An Ordinary Copper').
Great 'Cadbury's Dairy Milk' ad voiced by Rodney Bewes.
Remember the Lloyds Bank ad - when they were actually a bank.

@@babaza1972 I bet! Too bad EMI didn't try to release this album stateside. They already used tracks from Capitol Records on this anyway, it might've gave us a nice bonus of what else was popular elsewhere in the world too!

That All Aboard album looked horrendous, even as a child in 1979, I hated those stupid nursery rhymes!
