I have a Z50, someone I know has a 6400. One nice thing I noticed in 6400 was the extra dial besides the screen, and it is really very handy. The popup flash is also on the other side of hot shoe on the 6400, which means both can be used if need be, not so with Z50. Both just have flip screens, which is a far inferior and restrictive design than fully articulated screens. z50 uses the very old micro USB, which is not great at all compared to USBC. I don't care much about megapixels, so 20MP and 24MP don't matter. One thing that matters a lot is the variety of lens available, and Z has very few, though it is increasing. They are praised in general for the sharpness, but are roughly double the price of Nikon's F lenses. In short, both these are entry level mirrorless cameras, and you can't go wrong with either. Once you start building your lens collection (and the cost of various lenses you will have will far outweigh that of your camera body, no matter how cheap or expensive your camera body is), you won't be able to switch, so don't worry about Z50 or 6400. I love my z50 and will stick to Nikon.

Everyone just wants to buy a "fancy" Sony or Fuji camera because they are totally hyped by the influencers. Fuji's autofocus is just super slow compared to the others. Nobody tells you that some of the Sony menu is really bad. And instead of maintaining its cameras, Sony keeps bringing out new models. The A6400 was already totally outdated when it was released and the A6600 costs as much as a Sony full frame camera. That just makes absolutely no sense. The Z50 is a really underrated camera and the Nikon menu is super user-friendly!

Bhai it's not necessary to buy more expensive lenses you can use adapter that converts from mount A to mount E and on the other hand Sony is better for low light shooting that's what my experience is. Otherwise I liked your detailing
choose according to ur purpose 16-50 for shooting wide area in photo 55-250 for medium to zoom length 50mm fix length for portrait ( more background blur )

Both have equally distributed focus points. You don’t get any real advantage with 200 extra points. It’s just marketing gimmick
