I know you've said in the past thay rural walks don't bring in views like city walks but man, I sure enjoy them. Thanks Ram you the man. Hope you're well ✌️
I'm pretty sure Japanese cities don't look that much different from any other modern city. That said, rural areas are full of traditional Japanese architecture and sites that can only be found in Japan. People really have poor taste.

Your rural walks are the best, Rambalac. They really capture the Ghibli style of being Japanese and are, for the most part, my favorite videos. Never stop your rural treats for us. 🇧🇷
Just realized your work is something I have looked forward to for several years now. Sometimes in the evening I choose Rambalac videos over the Criterion Channel. Never once regretted it.
Thank you for the unplanned walk! It was sad to see so many dilapidated and abandoned places, but the walk is so serene and beautiful. I can't believe how lucky we got with the very last shot -- you were about to end the video, and here was the big surprise! So lovely to be able to walk early in the morning in Japanese countryside through your lens
Such a beautiful calm morning 🌤 - liked it best down by the river - I'd be happy to sit there for an hour and just enjoy the scenery, colors, sounds 💙💚... Looked a bit like ''the wilds'' first, and a nice park later! Felt somewhat nostalgic about the abandoned (even ruined) old houses, but so it goes, things wane like the dry leaves from yesteryear... And 2 lovely !!! (And a steam engine train 😃 - thanks !)
Let's start at the South Exit of Yorii Station in Yorii, Saitama and continue westward past the taxi rank Let's admire the lovely manhole and recycle, cross the street and purchase a beverage from a different vending machine We know what we like, and let's keep going south for a bit along Highway 190 Turn left at the Bistro truck, and then a cheeky right into the next alley That was a nice charging station we just passed, but four and half years ago there were houses there Onward to the future On second thought, let's deke right, recycle our drink, reconnect with Highway 190 and swing back to the alley We walk south in the sun, eventually meeting Highway 296 and turn left heading east to the next intersection Let's cross the street heading south and loop around Musashino Bank back to the alley We've moved about 500 metres by now, let's keep going Turn right at the coin laundry and venture west until we get to the intersection just past the dentist office Let's cross the street and keep heading west past the little udon shop with inverted banners Let's go to the next street, Highway 30 -- also known as Hanno Yorii-sen -- and turn left to head south When we get to the T-Crossing with more pretty manhole covers, let's follow that lane Let's keep heading west until we reach Nakamura Photography, and fork left (southwest) to the Tamayodo Dry Riverbed access Don't forget to make friends with the cat Let's pivot east and follow the promenade, we've gone more than a kilometre now We keep going to the Highway 30 viaduct and take the stairs up to Suzumenomiya Park Thanks to the cataracts and the dry leaves we get a bit of ASMR When we leave the park at 31:08, we've just managed two kilometres That's the pokiest, most leisurely two kilometres we've done in a while but there's so much to enjoy Let's head west back to Highway 30, and head back north past the 7-11 for a bit Let's follow the fork in the road, heading in a northeastern direction Keep going past the cat-themed book store, around the back of Daiso and say hi to the cat guarding the big house at the end of the block Let's turn left and go back north until we reach Highway 30 again Let's cross the street and keep heading north past the takoyaki shop with inverted banners They also sell french dogs which might be something new to try Continue on Highway 30 until we start to see familiar territory, and quickly duck into the sidestreet heading west When we get to the taxi dispatch office (not the yard), let's turn and head north, bearing right at the fork At the end of that huge beige building, that's three kilometres after 45 minutes, right on pace We're inching closer to the station Turn left and have a nosey at the empty storefronts, and nip through to the station, and then past the station, and back south Take the next fork on the left, heading southeast Keep walking until we get to the corner of Shojuin Shrine, and turn left heading north now Continue north, crossing the Tobu Tojo line and take a right into Amanuma Park Let's wander around the park, enjoying ourselves and the laughing children, almost getting lost We don't want to go further than the Chichibu Railway viaduct, but we do need to get our feet wet and live a little We wander around a bit more, and move back across the river using a footbridge this time We make our way to the same spot we entered the park, but we're not going back to the station We have other plans, and continue north across the Chichibu Railway and the Hachiko line We keep going until the road bends westward, and keep going that way until we can't go that way anymore Eventually we come to a T-Junction and we turn left heading south to the station We follow on until we get to a main road, and turn left once more We cross the street and arrive at the North Exit of Yorii Station, and just about 4 and a half kilometres -- Omedetou! But there's one more treat before we end the video, Enjoy!
It's been quite a while now since I've watched a rural morning walk, and I still prefer this over populated city walks. This hits the spot really well. Thanks ram ~ 06-02
I really liked this place. Quiet spot to live. How some of it looks brand new, how the rest looks like it stood there for ages. The river. The dry leaves ASMR lol (that noise really would lul me to sleep), it was a nice relaxing video. And the old train was cooooooooool!!
Wishing you all the best Rambalac, in whatever you do. I'm envious of your amazing filming equipment, and you seem like a cool person! I love walking and exploring neighborhoods and it makes me happy to know that there are other folks out there enjoying all the unexpected random bits of life. ❤❤❤

Hey... never say never! A friend of mine went there being 74.
Thanks Ram! Rural walks is my favorite :) This was a very calm town. I really like it.

The rural walks have such a different character than the urban ones. Great video, thanks Rambalac. I hope you enjoyed spring this year.

It was indeed sad. A reminder that Tokyo is not all of Japan. Much to admire nevertheless. Rambalac is simply the best.

Beautiful Steam Train. So good to see them in their glory. Thank you.
Thanks Rambalac for another beautiful peaceful, and soothing video. Watching your video makes me happy and at ease.
I love the rural walks.
We just returned from Japan and I already miss it.
More than any place I've been before.
What a way to close off a walk! Nice!
Thank you for this video. Rural walks are by far my favorite.
I would love to live in this neighborhood, looks amazing and comfy..Much better than in a big city
Lovely calm rural walk. Such peace and quiet 🙏🏼
Thank you for capturing the many beauties of Japan. I always look forward to a new upload!
Nice spontaneous catch of the steam-hauled Paleo Express at the last moment, Ram!
Thanks for the video ❤
Thank you for reminding me that the world is actually a beautiful place.
Thanks for rural locations
Thanks Ram you never disappoint ❤

Las zonas rurales de japón me encantan, ver a lo lejos montañas cubiertas de arboles y zonas verdes simplemente me alegran la vista.

Thank you. Very interesting walk. Different styles of houses. They don't build like this in Europe.
Rural Japan is something else entirely.
Really liking that river footage
