I miss Chad Taylor's mohawk lol I remember meeting the band on the Birds of Prey tour in Australia. and Chad was the most down to earth guy, he and I had a good 1.5hr jam session and loved how I could play I Alone and even taught me some easier techniques in my guitar playing for my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome so my hands wouldn't hurt so much.
Amazing performance, sounded like the studio version.
When I hear this song it reminds me of my daughters.
First time I saw this i thought they were a Christian band. I showed this to my super religious parents and they loved it.
They've always been close. The passion required to write and perform something like this is the same as the passion for our Lord.

This song came back to me, a couple years ago, and now that I have a nearly 4 year old daughter...I hold her closer than anyone else. She brings me closer to my own heaven.

Great you notice it too. I wrote it sounds like playback until 2:30. I thought they just couldn't keep the performance but it really changed alot.. Until 2:30 it's too smooth. Can't be live I thought.. Anyone knows for sure? But afteristening again it's clearly double vocals until 2:25.. So some kind of playback at least
At the beginning, I thought woooooow, but definitely it's a playback. I'm sad for the musicians too.
I have seen them live in concert and I will tell you in all honesty, Ed has the voice of an angel and they sound absolutely flawless in person. Amazing vocals, one of the best performances I've ever seen. And the crowd was over capacity. Good times.

I've always loved live yet I wonder why the big change in lyrics. Their first lyrics told us to run from religion. With lyrics like can you give it up and the river's are all dry. As a Christian myself I'm glad that he's able to see heaven. God bless!

I don't know that Ed ever "Didn't see it".. I think he felt that he was raised in a Christian Legalist environment, similar to James Hetfield but both eventually came to see the error in their logic.

I’ve checked the set lists and they don’t play this anymore. I absolutely love this song. I like their other stuff too but I’m gonna be heartbroken if I seen them in concert this summer and they don’t play it. I wonder why they don’t?

Hard to believe this is live. Sounds like playback so good. At least until min 2:30. Then they couldn't keep it up unfortunately. Still great performance
This is definitely some kind of dubbed/studio recording until near the very end. The editing is pretty slick to not put too much focus on the playing and singing long enough to notice it's not quite in sync.

Evolution is a fairy tale. The Bible is historical. It takes more faith to see billions of living beings and state that nothing made it all. Jesus is the door to life.
