- After Shockwave we continue our journey towards my birthday! Today we stop in the sewers of New York, with what is absolutely my favorite character from TMNT 2012: Rat King! In addition to the already very pleasant Design that is very reminiscent of the Scarecrow from New Batman's Adventures, his power of control over rats and before mind reading, his being incredibly Creepy and being a scientist have elevated him to my favorite on the show and in reality, also in a place of honor among my all-time favorite villains! I hope this video is not blocked for Copyright and we will see you in a while with the Diety of the Barians!

Besides Shredder, this man right here was Splinter’s personal villain.
Facts. I didn't appreciate him more than I should have as a kid. Rat King made an impact.

The most disturbing villain ever introduced in TMNT. Even after his death, he left an impact.
The 2012 version of the Rat King was genuinely one of the most impressive characters in the show. While it is a shame that he was killed off so early, I like how they made him a standalone villain who wanted to maintain control. I think his insidious nature was perfectly captured in this video, with the song ironically reminding me of 1980's horror music (Which I'd say works incredibly well for him). Very well done, overall!
A much scarier version than the original animated TMNT series one.
I do remember the episode with that doctor who could read turtle’s movements, but I never thought he was the rat king, great video with a catchy song

His costume takes inspiration from what doctors wore back in the 5th century of ancient Greece.
But I do agree with your description. He does give off major Scarecrow vibes from The New Batman Adventures.
In my opinion the rat king is probably the most underrated tmnt villain
His power to control rats ( not really unique or original ) is interesting and he is the second villain in the show to give master splinter the most trauma next to shredder
I've only watched his debut episode but I still say I completely agree. He just has this disturbing corrupted form of charisma that makes him hard to forget even if he doesn't achieve anything major. By the way, is this show still on Netflix?

Whereas the Shredder was diabolical for turning Splinter’s daughter against him, the Rat King is diabolical for unwillingly turning Splinter against his own world and loved ones, the family he made for himself, including the sons he raised to be his own. Admittedly he is kind of sympathetic, but still diabolical.
Haven’t gotten to any of his episodes yet but from your video here the villain looks very interesting.
Even tho he has a creepy design later on I do prefer his normal human look mainly cause there’s some really cool seeing a normal looking person outmatching the turtles movements like that.

A villain who commands rats would be genuinely terrifying. Not because I dislike rats, but because there are so many of them everywhere, and they have teeth that can chew through concrete and possibly steel.😬
I still remember when splitter beat him blindfolded. Rat king was so afraid to go blind but splinter did it willingly to overthrow the rat king.
Rat king was one of the greatest and scariest villains in tmnt wish he was around longer he could have been the second arch enemy of splinter and he scared me alot when i was like 9 years old he reminded me of the undertaker from wwe
Before to be Rat King, he was already an evil, strong and a cleaver scientist

ps: rat king is one of my favorite villains of the series and of the ninja turtles, in terms of design it is also superior to the versions of the 90s and 2003
It was a cool design but be honest it was obviously based on the new adventure design of Scarecrow.

Amazing video with a great song! Rat King is a cool villain who was also the most personal nemesis for Splinter after Shredder in this show but it’s a shame he was killed off after just a few episodes. Anyway I thought you would like this guy when I was watching this show so I’m pleased to know I was right lol. The song is very nice and a lot of the matching of the scenes of it was very good, awesome job!

Awesome video on one of the Ninja Turtles' most underutilized villains from the 2012 show, Arkham! He really was Splinter's biggest nemesis next to the Shredder himself, and that's no small feat for a modern-day villain.

One of my favorite villains of this version of the franchise; made all the more perfect with horror legend Jeffery Combs voicing this horrific and disturbing creature. An excellent tribute, as always. Long live the King!

It's amazing! I love this version of the Rat King, I really like about him that even before he became the Rat King he had the strength and character of a real evil professor. You Arkham picked up a good song for him, very suitable. Definitely the Rat King in this version of the turtles is the best 😍😍😍😎😎😎👍👍👍

Rat King is Scarecrow to Splinter's Batman.
He does give off Scarecrow vibes but his costume and color design takes inspiration from what doctors wore back in the 5th century of Ancient Greece.

As much as I hated this guy as a kid, the editing is fantastic!
This is one of those times were the animation style takes away the creepinest from the character
It's funny I used to do a ninja turtles fan fic where the rat king had a daughter who was his only humanity before he became a mutant at the end if we had something similar with ratcatcher

In my opinion this is the best TMNT show, nothing against the others this is just the one I grew up with and was really bummed out when it got cancelled, anyway onto the point of this comment, if you take out Shredder and maybe Kraang then Rat King could actually be the turtles main villain

Shredder is Splinter’s villain from the past then he was human and his human life
But the rat king is his present villain and his life as a rat
And personal the rat king deserves more episodes since he was a big threat

Shredder will arrive at some point but not before the start of the 2023. As for Korra and Avatar I will try to bring them back in the early 2023. Hopefully for both TMNT and avatar and Korra the copyright is not going to cause any more problems
