The alabaster analogy to the artist, mentioned at the end, was brilliant. Malcolm Guite is a fellow pilgrim on life's path. A soul friend, good company and an amiable conversationalist.
For years I’ve read Malcom’s poetry and prose and never heard his testimony. Blown away! Thank you for this gem. Many will see and many will fear and put their trust in the Lord.
A beautiful interview with a true gentleman. He spoke of his adolescence, dark, empty, and filled with angst. Where he had the love of poetry to draw him back into light, sadly many of our youth today have no such interest. I had a similar experience, but not nearly as profound as his. How can we reach those lost and struggling youth? I'd love to hear Malcolm’s thoughts on that.
Should this not be called the Cambridge Movement? When the whole of the video is taken into account, it is the obverse side of the Oxford Movement in many respects. Whilst this may begin with artistic endeavour, it is grounded in theology, and the concepts can move far beyond art. Many problems are resolved.. A great show. Thank you.
Incredible interview, thank you. The sign of a fantastic interviewer is sitting in attentive silence and letting the guest really unload. Superb job, sir.
Travis. I appreciated this discussion. I think some of what is missing in the American church, Malcolm sees. The limited picture we allow in the American church makes evangelism harder. Dan Griffith
Where did you come from where did you go? Where did you come from Guite you so and so. Beautiful interview Sir. My heart mends a little with every lovely lesson you deliver. Many blessings.
God writes or paints etc. through us. When this happens it feels like being in love and making love as God works through us. And how do you know? . . .well, one can feel the verifying Spirit moving through us like a breeze and that is Truth.

Thank you for watching! He is an incredible guy and I love his stuff on the imagination.
I enjoyed every moment of this one, thank you so much.
Malcolm possesses a beautiful ocean of knowledge in which we all may harbour.
Mozart and Eric Clapton? On a level? That's comedy gold Dr Guite!

I think Christians active in the arts and sciences would help
Malcolm's answers remind me of the naval captain's description of Coleridge. :)

He's easy to listen to. A man of God with the insight necessary for our times. Thank you for watching!

Wait, this was recorded on St. Patrick's Day? No wonder he is having a pint!

The SSPX have just consecrated a massive new church in Kansas but the art within is terribly inert….
Wow I'm with him a Welsh non conformist Norman closs parry
I bet his drinking a Smithwicks
it looked like a red ale
the weird laughing was distracting

Delusional
