I have to say, charging for power outlets is taking low cost to another level…and yes, prices post COVID are insane…💆🏻♀️ Thank you for this review and the comprehensive look into amenities and entertainment 😂🤣😂

Just carry your power bank with you, as there are plenty of USB & some power outlets to recharge your device / power bank at every gate at Changi airport.
As a Singaporean, I explain that Scoot and SQ are the two faces of Singapore. One nickel and dime you to death for extras, the other assumes what you want but it's a nice place to be ultimately.
Flown a decent amount on Scoot, and as long as you know what to expect, it’s ok. We’ve done Tokyo to Sing a couple of times, both on the 787 is what’s essentially premium economy. On the Airbus planes, Sing to Bangkok is the limit for my 6’2” frame to sit in a 28” pitch seat. What we always do, however, is compare the Scoot price, with baggage (if we need it), with SQ or Thai or whatever other mainline carriers fly the route. If there’s a fare sale on one of the mainlines, often times the prices are similar to Scoot with luggage. We check Google Flights for our comparisons.
We flew Scoot from Cebu to Jeju, connecting in Singapore of course. For the price the flight was fine, we didn't expect much, but we did pay extra for "Board me First" priority boarding. The gate staff made no attempt to make that process happen until we walked to the front of the line and asked if we should be boarding first. They seemed surprised, but did let us cut the line. Then it took 3 weeks for them to find my lost bag. Would I fly Scoot again? Probably, but with everything I need in my carry-on. Thanks Kevin!
Finally getting back to watching your videos after covering the Olympics in Paris, which made me realize how incredibly entertaining and informative your videos are,; your hard work really needs attention to be appreciated. I flew business and kept narrating my trip as if it were a TFFT video :)

There it is, the thing aviation industry channels are talking about in relation to LCCs getting squeezed. The FFCs are coming down in price in economy to the point where flying a low cost airline is losing sense. Everybody knows BC pays for most of the flight cost. Baggage alone, meals and drinks can price an LLC to a full-fare airline cost. Also FFCs have better slots which helps with connectivity. If you have points/status with an FFC, did I mention lounges or upgrades?
Depends on the situation though. Personally I'm not chasing Star Alliance status at the moment. So if given the choice between $500 Scootplus and $500 SQ Economy... I'd choose Scoot all day everyday (probably even if I was chasing status).
As a Singaporean, I don't understand why Scoot is a low cost budget carrier when taking SQ flights is sometimes cheaper than taking Scoot or only around $100 more expensive than Scoot...
I flew them from Sin to Kix earlier this year. What I found odd is they didn’t try and sell any food until the end of the flight. Normally LCC try and sell food every opportunity. I actually had to approach them to ask to buy food and they seem surprised. very unusual. Agreed on the service, it was noticeably bad.
I did Saigon to Syd on Scoot. I had carry on only, didn't buy food because I loaded up in the same Sats lounge in Singapore. I was in economy and only extra was the stretch seat (worth it) it was cheap and I'd happily do it again.
Ah....the Oriental treasure rice. It's in the Dim Sum category and one of my favorite breakfast items that I can eat every day when I go on my annual Malaysian vacation to visit family. We call it "Lo Mai Gai". Ingredients are glutinous rice, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce for color, oyster sauce, chicken, dried shiitake mushrooms, chinese sausage or char siu and dried chestnuts. Very addictive! 👌
14:12 There seems to be a mistake, Scoot does not fly to Essendon airport, which is the other Melbourne airport used mainly for turboprop services, flight training, plus police/hospital aviation.
Always until the end and including ALL the ads!! Good to know what Scootplus premium economy is, will keep them low on the priority list for our upcoming SE Asia trip in '25!
I kinda love how much everyone hates them 😅. A premium economy product that is a good value and scores above an 80/100 is a wonderful thing in my book.
I’m glad you raised the weird pricing between scootplus and scoot economy. I’d previously priced up scoot economy versus another full service airline, and once all the add ons were included, there wasn’t a huge difference between scoot economy, and full-service economy either.
Thanks Kevin for another great videos. Missing your regular hotels review so as the series progresses a suggestion is mixing them a bit more. One thing to be aware is that SQ often coshare with Scoot for the next leg and that you don't get lounge access with Star Alliance status if that is the case.

Even as a Singaporean I don't fly scoot unless I have no choice and only for flights less than two hours or both ...to me it's a sad sister of our world renowned Singapore Airlines brand!
I think it's also the same to other low-cost carriers if you add all the amenities that full-cost carriers have like checked luggage, food...etc, the price would not be much different. And I'd definitely choose SQ if I have to choose between SQ economy and ScootPlus. I don't know how Scoot look after their plane. It looked so sad.
I actually flew with Scoot when they still have the 777s. In economy. To Sydney. For something that brings you from point A to Point B, they do the job. They don't have the SQness because they just want to scoot you along. Otherwise, they are serviceable enough.
Your daily experiences and infrequent mild confrontations with staff and policies are interesting and entertaining enough. No need for manufactured drama! lol Also, I like the focus on food and beverage whether photo or video.
3:49 one can actually do this routing by combining a Singapore Airlines flight with Scoot EWR/JFK🇺🇲/PER🇦🇺 to DVO/CRK🇵🇭 because Singapore Airlines doesn't fly to them however it's a different story for Manila and Cebu SQ will give you a choice of SQ or Scoot to those places from Changi Airport🇸🇬. Excellent trip report speaking of the other Philippines destination by Scoot in the future SQ can become the 2nd daily flight if there is demand to them.
05:49 I can understand the ban of bringing no food if a passenger plans to eat Surströmming onboard. But I find that policy just to be another attempt by Scoot to more or less force you to buy their relatively expensive onboard meals. Paul Lucas in his 1st Scoot review was also outraged as well. I don’t see anything wrong with passengers bringing a packed lunch onboard to eat.
Great review of my home based airline, Scoot! You pay for what you get and Scoot is decent for getting from point A to B. 2 big improvements imo are firstly, making the charging ports free to use (!) and secondly, reducing the price of the inflight menu.
The the menu items, they're just not low cost carrier pricing. They've got to be double what Air Asia, Vietjet and Lion Group charge. I get that it's Singapore... but double is a stretch.
You're a business man, so am I. I'm always, always interested in the cost/value, and you're one of the very few that talks about this. Most reviewers just say: I bought this on points, or Avios. Well whoopy I say, thanks for the useless info.
Lol well I buy a lot of tickets on points too. They’re simply another currency to spend... That said, I don’t talk about it often bc I’m not a fan of the comments that follow 😅
@@tfft Of course you're using points, only a moron would think otherwise. But you give a good idea as to actual cost, and also the value of the product, and I like that.
It's interesting that Singapore Airlines and Scoot are at such opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to product and personnel attitude. Owned by the same company yet vastly different cultures if you will.
Another fantastic trip report man. I love your sense of humor too! Every time someone asks me about Scoot, I really can’t comment since I’ve never flown them myself, but the one thing I’ve always been told is how Scoot makes you pay to charge your phone. I always thought that was a campfire horror story but turns out it’s true yikes!
You are one prolific UA-camr! Took Scoot from SIN to BKK on a Dreamliner. A nice experience, but I did a hard pass on the hot food. I didn’t want to start my trip sightseeing the porcelain convenience. Good to know I had very little to worry about.
6:18 acknowledged more than greeted…that’s what you pay for! Singapore offers a warm greeting, happy to have you onboard and hoping you will fly again with them, while scoot simply acknowledges your presence, as you are an ends to their means…😂
The first time I flew Scoot Plus I liked it, but the second time I hated it so much, I cancelled my return flight to Sydney and flew Thai Business. I know Scoot is cheap, but it's a shit product. I will never fly it again. i used to be a big SQ fan, but there prices now are just too high. Next time I fly to Bangkok, I am trying Jetstar Business out of Brisbane Direct to Bangkok. The long Singapore stop overs are just too hard on the body these days......Please do a review on Jetstar Business..... great Channel keep up the great reviews
I was always so scared to fly scoot, just looking at the cabin layout and all the things you need to pay for like charging is kind of insane even on a low-cost airline. Though really exited what are you going to say about it 👍😄. First btw
But isn't that the same with AirAsia/AirAsiaX ? LCCs have become increasingly hard-nosed and charge for almost everything. Just look at how Iceland's Play or Ryanair work.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 I don’t really know how play airlines charges for different things, but I can assure you scoot compared to Ryanair or AirAsia/X is still much more extreme with charging for literally everything, as I said even charging ports. Though I never flown them (kind of scared) from people telling me their experience it wasn’t really good
At SIN the sterile area is at the gates (after security) so all your drinks brought before boarding are actually brought landside. Hence no liquid allowed through security. Not many airports run like this. It just makes it easier for SIN to not have to X-ray and screen everything in the terminal. I’ve worked in airport security over 16 years. Security in Asia as a whole is a worry. Little Ctix x-rays, little body scanners, etd machines never used, poor metal detector procedures. I’ve been on over 20 flights throughout Asia and shake my head every time knowing what I know. I’m not targeting Asia, it’s scary in many regions.
Drink when the plane is taking off and all are strapped to the seats or when it is about to land. You have a good 10 minute window to savour every drop.
Ah, to play Scoot comfortably you need to know the game's quirks well. For water, bring 1 litre empty bottles into the gate, and you will never run out of water in flight (they won't stop you). SIN gates all have water dispensers. For food, you need to know which item to pick, they used to offer some exceptional food items if you know which one to order including their ice-cream, chocolate, and artisan drinks, but I think they recently removed them because they were too "high-class" and so weren't popular. You also get a fast meal service because nobody else wants to spend that money to buy on board. I remember picking the wrong items at first and they turned out to be disgusting, so it was trial and error. They also took out paid unlimited Wifi which was once offered in their early 787 years and you did not need any other entertainment on board back then (yes free flow UA-cam was allowed in those days). If you pick the correct economy seat not only you pay less extra than you would expect, the experience is far better and you get plenty of space. And for certain airports with that reputation for really long queues, the priority boarding is worth every cent.
You must have drawn the unlucky straw in this flight. My scootPlus flight earlier in the year was kinda nice. The crew was full smiles. I will agree with you with ScootEco though, while it may being a small amount the money the comfort is worth it in ScootPlus. As for Jetstar, I never liked their seats (bit hard), also slightly expensive if your traveling on a budget. If your ever in Singapore, Can you do a review at Singapore's Second airport (Seletar Airport) I think there is a Budget Airline called Firefly from KL that has permit to fly into that Airport. I missed out last time because of time constraints.
Your inflight amenities gag's delivery made me laugh. Tbh, I'd probably go with SIA any day over Scoot, and for low cost carriers, would pick Air Asia - knowing I'd likely get hungry on the plane even after pre-booking a meal, Scoot's prices are just too expensive.
I've flown on Scoot once between Honolulu and Osaka for an absolute bargain fair of $99. I've added some ammenities like a bag and a seat in the front in the child-free-cabin which was pretty empty with a row of three for myself. Let's say Scoot flies you from A to B and that is what matters. The no own food and drink policy was stricktly enforced in the first few hours of the flight but after a while the flight attendents gave up. "According to Sinpapore law it's forbidden to consume your own food or drinks". Good luck enforcing that "law" on a flight between the USA and Japan ;)! They've tried to charge me extra for the meal and a drink. On their food menu there's a combo deal with a meal and a drink. I ordered the meal and the drink and they were charged seperately. Once I've pointed them on the combo deal with the exact same items, I've got the reply that I had to order a combo deal instead of a meal and a drink.
The worst part of Scoot is if you ever happen to experience a flight cancellation and receive “credit voucher”, the subsequent use of the voucher is strictly one time, meaning let’s say you have a $500 voucher and used $100 on your next flight booking well it turns out the remaining $400 is simply forfeited, that’s not cool at all.
I really really, and I do mean really enjoy his reviews. His sense of humor always skirts below the surface of these videos, and he is fantastic. Perhaps because I think the same way he does. Kevin has my favorite travel review site out there. Keep it coming.
How do they enforce the no food policy? If you're strolling on with a Pret bag, fair enough, but if you've got something in your cabin bags, can you not just nibble on that when the crew's not looking? And let's be honest, would they care that much once you're in the air?
Thanks for the objective UA-cam, Kevin. Scoot has not been a success in Europe. Yes it operates to ATH and BER but no other points. For a while it operated LGW-BKK-SIN but that route didn't last. Scoot's first boss, Campbell Wilson (now CEO of AI), told the media that Scoot would *not* be like SIA. But as an airline representing Singapore (continually seeking to woo multinational companies) I do believe Scoot ought to be better as it shows the City State in a less than positive light.
Kevin , try changing your flight date on Scoot and see how much "Low" Cost this airline is (NOT) . On top of the change fee, you will only find the full 'Y' class fare. I never found the prevailing rate on any day I checked. This means you will prob end up paying nearly double the fare for a new ticket.
Never flown scoot but never found a ticket price that was competitive ... LCC at the bottom of the heap together with air asia which is always delayed and cheat on giving you compensation when you're insured for delays and cebu pac which doesn't even have toilets that work.. The regular carriers usually delivers what you need at an inclusive price... More able to be on time and with functioning toilets... LCCs more often than not makes you unhappy about your choice of carrier....
If Scoot stop serving laksa or anything with coconut milk meals, I may consider use their service once again. Everything internally is expected for a budget airline. No frills. But that one meal ruined my flight back in 2019 on SYD-SIN. I remember almost every passenger used the lavatory with a long as queue and just imagine the odour lingered mid flight for 4 hours. Yeah, not a great experience.
Went on Scoot from Singapore to Seoul and it was a late night flight so I was asleep (or at least attempted to sleep) but I was bored out of my mind. Initially I thought this was the worst flight ever but then considering that I have been on many other flights without IFE, I didn’t view it as such anymore. But I just view Scoot as the Asian version of Southwest.
Nice video. You have a new subscriber, but Tiger Australia and Tiger Mandala stopped operating years ago. Agree with you in that cabin crew on Scoot are of a different DNA to their mainline SIA crew.
If I was the CEO of Scoot. I'll model it more like FlyDubai with cheap wi-fi, An IFE screen (with some new releases locked in Premium because I'm evil), free drinks but not meals and a 31 inch seat pitch in economy. A ScootPlus would be this but with a 38 inch pitch seat and wider seats
Not always when it comes to "cabin conditions." Worn seating reflects badly on both SIA and Singapore itself both of whom promote a positive and upmarket image to the world.
I have it on good authority from someone at Scoot that a cabin refurbishment is happening. The 787 in this video appears to be one that is yet to be refurbished. Having said that a quick comparison with their competitor on this route, Jetstar, their 787’s are just as old and yet their seats don’t look anywhere near as run down as Scoot’s.
I flew SIN-SYD on scoot plus and I thought it was horrible. The seat got very uncomfortable after about 45 minutes, the "meal" they brought me looked like dog food grade and the taste matched. The staff were OK at the start of the flight but got quite rude and snappy by the end of the flight.. I'd rather fly back row Economy of Singapore or Qantas than ever put myself through a Scoot flight again.
You couldn't pay me to fly scoot. Heading to Thailand next week. Partner and our friends are flying Scoot. I'm meeting them there, because I just can't tolerate low cost medium/long haul.
Scoot is what it is. It sells you a seat to get from one place to another, which it does reliably, and if if you want any extras they're expensive. Air AsiaX sells you a seat and if you prepay the extras you want it's still economical. It's not expensive even to buy some extras on board. As an Australian can I say Jetstar does this job pretty well most of the time and the cabin crew is friendly as they are on Air Asia. So my ranking would be Air AsiaX first, Jetstar a good second and Scoot reliable but definitely third.
I wonder if they'll be charging a separate cleaning fee if you want armrests that aren't grimy like that 😂 Echoing your thoughts on the fare differences -- I just booked a 1-hour flight on ITA, and for a refundable ticket with a checked bag, it costs literally $22 more for the business class fare. I will absolutely pay $22 for a little lounge access and a little middle-seat-blocked-off action.
lol, the sarcasm is just on another level. and I can soooo related. for similar reasons, I have decided to NEVER fly vietjet again unless my life depended on it. I know regional flights nickel and diming you to death. but most of them at least deliver after they take your money. can't say that about vietjet.
Popeyes?!?! In an airport?!?! What a time to be alive 🎉😊😅(you can tell I don’t fly often) Nice video, too bad your flight was kinda mid, nickel and dimeing is how they make their money 💰 🙏🏻
Hmm... I'll say Buenos Aires since I don't want to only fly Premium Economy for the rest of my life and BsAs has very little Premium Economy service lol
TBH from economy viewpoint, imo Scoot is the worst lowcost airline, the only thing going for them is that you can book with them and SQ on the same itieneray, maing transfers/travels to smaller airports way easier
I’ll bring my own snacks on board. Are they going to divert the plane because someone is eating airport pretzels on board. Hmmm doubt it. I might buy a drink that’s about it.

@@tfft Of course you're using points, only a moron would think otherwise. But you give a good idea as to actual cost, and also the value of the product, and I like that.
The crickets 😂😂😂 Thanks for the great video, especially the information about security at SIN as I’ll be flying there on 5 October.
I think you're the 2nd to notice them lol
It's interesting that Singapore Airlines and Scoot are at such opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to product and personnel attitude. Owned by the same company yet vastly different cultures if you will.
For sure
That's just SQ's weird way of reminding us of what we could receive
Another fantastic trip report man. I love your sense of humor too!
Every time someone asks me about Scoot, I really can’t comment since I’ve never flown them myself, but the one thing I’ve always been told is how Scoot makes you pay to charge your phone.
I always thought that was a campfire horror story but turns out it’s true yikes!
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
The like count was at 999. I had the pleasure of clicking and watch it turn over to 1K. What a thrill! 🙂
I like to call that the UA-cam lottery.
*I had bad luck with their vouchers, I didn't know you forfeit the rest of the balance if you book a cheaper flight*
Surely you'd keep the rest as a separate voucher, no?
You are one prolific UA-camr! Took Scoot from SIN to BKK on a Dreamliner. A nice experience, but I did a hard pass on the hot food. I didn’t want to start my trip sightseeing the porcelain convenience. Good to know I had very little to worry about.
There's nothing in Singapore to worry about from that perspective.
6:18 acknowledged more than greeted…that’s what you pay for! Singapore offers a warm greeting, happy to have you onboard and hoping you will fly again with them, while scoot simply acknowledges your presence, as you are an ends to their means…😂
Low cost carriers around the world have the ability to (and do) say hello lol
Love it Kevin! I so appreciate your humor!
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
The first time I flew Scoot Plus I liked it, but the second time I hated it so much, I cancelled my return flight to Sydney and flew Thai Business.
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Hey Kevin...got less than 90 seconds into the vid...
Had to stop & Sub & like...I just KNOW I'm gunna dig your channel ☮🤟
Thanks for subscribing! 📺
I was always so scared to fly scoot, just looking at the cabin layout and all the things you need to pay for like charging is kind of insane even on a low-cost airline. Though really exited what are you going to say about it 👍😄. First btw
Thanks for watching 🩴
But isn't that the same with AirAsia/AirAsiaX ? LCCs have become increasingly hard-nosed and charge for almost everything. Just look at how Iceland's Play or Ryanair work.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 I don’t really know how play airlines charges for different things, but I can assure you scoot compared to Ryanair or AirAsia/X is still much more extreme with charging for literally everything, as I said even charging ports. Though I never flown them (kind of scared) from people telling me their experience it wasn’t really good
At some point you should do a US transcon ULCC comparison between Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant.
Not all transcon, but I do have like 7 different US airlines coming up.
Thanks for watching 🩴
Drink when the plane is taking off and all are strapped to the seats or when it is about to land. You have a good 10 minute window to savour every drop.
Don't share the secrets with everyone...
Great Trip Report And Info
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
Ah, to play Scoot comfortably you need to know the game's quirks well.

Thanks for sharing ✈️
loved the video... though i ve heard really bad things about scoot Economy 😂but tbh i dont mind trying out scoot bizz once!
Worth the price.
The background music track at the landing and arrival stage is not named in the track list.
It most certainly is.
@@tfft I would be grateful for the name of the ambient track near the end with the Indian classical singer doing an alapanai.
took scoot plus tokyo to singapore and the service was good

Your inflight amenities gag's delivery made me laugh. Tbh, I'd probably go with SIA any day over Scoot, and for low cost carriers, would pick Air Asia - knowing I'd likely get hungry on the plane even after pre-booking a meal, Scoot's prices are just too expensive.
But the real question is, did you notice the cricket? haha
Thanks for sharing ✈️
The worst part of Scoot is if you ever happen to experience a flight cancellation and receive “credit voucher”, the subsequent use of the voucher is strictly one time, meaning let’s say you have a $500 voucher and used $100 on your next flight booking well it turns out the remaining $400 is simply forfeited, that’s not cool at all.
Thanks for sharing ✈️
The flooring is such a good idea.
Agreed!
Scoot’s “no outside food onboard” policy and charging for in-seat power is outrageous 😂
Had the Beef with Rice on Scoot and it was bad haha🫠
Thanks for sharing ✈️
love these videos :)
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
I really really, and I do mean really enjoy his reviews. His sense of humor always skirts below the surface of these videos, and he is fantastic. Perhaps because I think the same way he does. Kevin has my favorite travel review site out there. Keep it coming.
I've always been of the opinion that the best jokes are the ones that 90% of people didn't realize were there 😂
A quick tip to get around the No outside food or drink policy is to say you have various allergies to foods! They can not deny you!
Good point.
At least the in-flight shower was complimentary, which is a nice service offer IMO
Yeah, it really is the small surprise and delight moments which make the difference.
Oh and now I remember the whisper! #winning
@@tfft 😁😁😁
How do they enforce the no food policy? If you're strolling on with a Pret bag, fair enough, but if you've got something in your cabin bags, can you not just nibble on that when the crew's not looking?
And let's be honest, would they care that much once you're in the air?
They call it the “Scootee Death Stare”… I’ve never experienced it but I’ve heard it’s so powerful it can cause hair loss.
@@tfft Ha! Joke's on you, Scoot - I've experienced male pattern baldness since my 20s. Burrrrrrrrrn!
Im actually surprised that you didnt ding more points off this flight.
Why would I? My scores are always relative to the price. $500 for long haul prem eco is a great deal.
@@tfft.
I'm more referring to the smaller things, like the wifi, seats, etc. The more nickel and dime stuff.
Scoot needs a dose of upgrading in service and I am sure that they would get away with charging marginally more. I love Singapore Airlines service.
Thanks for watching 🩴
That's the SATS Premier Lounge in T1
Definitely T3 😉
@12:43 is that dirt on that guys shoes? If so, I am officially DONE flying anywhere ever again.
Dirt on someone's shoes? That's your tipping point to never travel again? lol
How long are you in Melbourne for? hopefully Aus will be kind with its weather! enjoy your time
Was there for 2 nights.
Yeah a year or two ago I was actually supposed to be on that BKK-LGW flight haha
Ironic that I changed this very flight 2 months after booking to 3 days earlier. No fee or fare difference.
@@tfft Ironic indeed. Could it be bcoz there was no change fee for your ticket fare, or my sharing on soc media the experience made some difference? 😀

Yeah- didn't mean to imply, if I did, that they were still operational. Thanks for watching 🩴
I mean, you're basically describing what SilkAir would have been lol
I paid extra for seats near the exit door and that's more than enough and better than scoot plus. It has extra room and cheaper than scoot plus.
Scoot's cabin conditons are always in question 😅. Well something has to go with the price. Loving the videos though ff ✈️
Agreed, can't complain when you get exactly what you paid for.
Why were you filmed when filming at the remote gate in Singapore? I wasn't aware it wasn't legal.
Not sure if it's illegal, but I was certainly told off for filming lol
I flew SIN-SYD on scoot plus and I thought it was horrible. The seat got very uncomfortable after about 45 minutes, the "meal" they brought me looked like dog food grade and the taste matched. The staff were OK at the start of the flight but got quite rude and snappy by the end of the flight.. I'd rather fly back row Economy of Singapore or Qantas than ever put myself through a Scoot flight again.
Thanks for sharing ✈️
You couldn't pay me to fly scoot.
Heading to Thailand next week. Partner and our friends are flying Scoot.
I'm meeting them there, because I just can't tolerate low cost medium/long haul.
Episode 320 starting on an A320. Coincidence? I think not!
Let's put it this way... I didn't notice that... so... 😂
Can you take 15ml Nose Drops (medication for congested nose) on Scoot ?
That's 15 ml liquid
😅
No, they only all liquids under 9ml or between 18 and 38ml.
I think Scoot cabin is bad. Experience 8 hours flight Sydney to Singapore in 2017. I think Jetstar is better.
Thanks for watching 🩴
Scoot is what it is. It sells you a seat to get from one place to another, which it does reliably, and if if you want any extras they're expensive. Air AsiaX sells you a seat and if you prepay the extras you want it's still economical. It's not expensive even to buy some extras on board. As an Australian can I say Jetstar does this job pretty well most of the time and the cabin crew is friendly as they are on Air Asia. So my ranking would be Air AsiaX first, Jetstar a good second and Scoot reliable but definitely third.

Welcome to Melbourne Kevin! (my home town) Random question. Given how much you travel how many times have you had Covid?
I don't want to say the exact number as to not jinx myself. So, I will simply say it was less than 1 time 😅
Stay safe Kevin.
My oh my, 4 videos in a week!
Don't get used to it! haha
Hope you enjoy it! I'll be on them in a few weeks.
Yayyy more videos please
Oh yah sure, more than 2 full length videos per week. That definitly doesn't have 'burn out' written all over it lol
lol, the sarcasm is just on another level. and I can soooo related. for similar reasons, I have decided to NEVER fly vietjet again unless my life depended on it. I know regional flights nickel and diming you to death. but most of them at least deliver after they take your money. can't say that about vietjet.
Sarcasm is my love language.
Popeyes?!?! In an airport?!?! What a time to be alive 🎉😊😅(you can tell I don’t fly often) Nice video, too bad your flight was kinda mid, nickel and dimeing is how they make their money 💰 🙏🏻
Yeah, SGN is blessed with a Popeyes and 2 Burger Kings... lol
If you take a midnight flight scoot economy is better. Just sleep until you reach your destination. Leg room is not that bad.
…unless you cannot sleep in economy seats, like me.
So, You get the Idea how AIR INDIA is going to look like in the future
Bit of a stretch.
If you could have, lets say Premium Economy for free, from all airline at ONE airport. Which airport would it be?
Hmm... I'll say Buenos Aires since I don't want to only fly Premium Economy for the rest of my life and BsAs has very little Premium Economy service lol
I'm extremely sorry for this flight
Why? lol
TBH from economy viewpoint, imo Scoot is the worst lowcost airline, the only thing going for them is that you can book with them and SQ on the same itieneray, maing transfers/travels to smaller airports way easier
It's not the worst for one reason: Scoot reliably gets you from one place to another. If you want extras avoid Scoot.
@@rais1953 But that applies to most lowcost carriers too
@@HelloOnepiece Yes. That's why I say it's not the worst. But close by is another, better LCC, Air Asia.
“Worst” is a relative term. I’m not saying they are, but Scoot could have a perfect on time record and still be the worse overall…
Try Air koryo
I’ll get right on that!
I’ll bring my own snacks on board. Are they going to divert the plane because someone is eating airport pretzels on board. Hmmm doubt it. I might buy a drink that’s about it.
I mean... if there's one place on earth I don't screw around with laws and regulations, it's Singapore... so eat those pretzels very carefully lol
Try next Iraqi airline in business I bet u would be disappointed
It's hard to be disappointed if you know what to expect...
82% for scoot is too good 😭
Scores are relative to the price 😉
0:59 if those are what you call "oriental treasures "….I’ll, be having none of that "mystery substance" dotted amongst the rice…Thanks for the heads up, I will know now what not to order…💩
Are we unfamiliar with what braised chicken and mushrooms looks like? lol
