What a treat to hear this. It’s like eavesdropping on the session! Alan White’s drums really punch through the mix here. Think they benefit from not being as compressed as the final mastered CD. The other tracks on the DAT are likely to show a similar improvement in dynamics.
This is mental. Thank you so much for sharing. I'd be really interested if someone had the dykmlwim dat. The layers of guitars on thar will be amazing.
As a life long oasis fan I thought I've heard everything available until I found your podcast and channel. Keep up the good work. Would love to hear the very early version of Go Let It Out with different lyrics that's you've mentioned on on of the podcast show. Keep up the good work mate
I'm wary about releasing anything unheard to be honest. Until I'm absolutely certain Noel doesn't want them back to do as he pleases with. I'm in the process of handing those ones back, they'd make a brilliant RSD release for example.
@Oasis Collectors Group totally understand that. Love hearing about all these hidden gems that are out there. I think the one that most people are hoping sees the light of day is liams vocals on Step out. 🤞
Truly a masterpiece! What a great version of Noel in the studio. thanks for sharing! What else is coming? Greetings from Peru! 🇵🇪 🇵🇪 Live Forever Mate!
Thank you so much for your kindness in sharing this and hopefully more! As soon as I saw this session tape on the James Hargreaves video you were on I've been hoping! Much love x
Fantastic. Thanks for sharing. It's a shame Liam didn't stick around in the studio to record The Fame/Flashbax too or it would've been an even better 4-track single.
@@BittersweetHome Wow, can you confirm or deny that a proper studio version of Liam singing DLBIA or Step Out exists, love all the work you do by the way!
@Matthew Finnegan I can't myself as I've never heard them. The Truth gets bent and rumours appear, Step Out I'd think is likely but DLBIA I don't... total personal opinion there based on ZERO info I must add.
And I get so high I just can't feel it
Alan's drumming is GOLD
As always eh
would be better with Tony :P
Those harmonies are incredible! Never heard their voices sound so good together!
Great to see them smash together at the end eh
@@BittersweetHome Thanks a lot for these man. Makes me miss the 90's even more : )
@Tim Fletcher I'm stuck there too mate believe me, best and last era that'll historically matter

Always have, always will love the bass riffs on this version (the final B side and this mix-down!). Class.

So true
The Fame was recorded during the BHN sessions. Think only this and Flashbax were recorded during this session.
@Nutsngum1 I MAY be wrong but The Fame may be on this one too, I'll check tomorrow and upload if so
this is a gem!!! thank you so much mate!!
Thanks for sharing, mate!
Thank you for uploading and sharing, much appreciated.
Amazing
Yes Kyle!

Never heard such a mis-sung song from Noel as its entirely made for Liam. Liam absolutely smashes this on the official b-side version!
He's doing the guide vocals

Alan White has a very distinguished style.

Is there a lossless?
Thanks for this! What’s one recording you have that a lot of people don’t even know exist?
3 totally unheard acoustic songs, mixed late 1997
