What exactly do you guys change as far as front end components in the Suburbans (as in front differential, control arms, etc)? Curious because what if you had a lift already installed on a 1500 and wanted to do the Duramax swap, would you need to purchase an entirely different lift kit?
We already did it to a Yukon Denali, its here on our channel. It can be done but its very expensive and just not worth the expense. It does turn on a dime though, just search quadrasteere duramax, you'll see it.
What does a set up like this cost? I have a 05 H2 adventure package. I was looking at swapping out transfer case and building the the factory motor. Till I seen you video I like the set up with this SUT..

Sweet looking Hummer H2. It's an unforgivable shame that it was never offered during its production with a diesel engine, not even a Duramax.

Yes, they are wicked fast, we are doing our 2015 1500 SCLB right now giving it a 650/1300 LML :-)

Why did you guys stop doing this type of work on hummer h2's?
they are not cost effective and take twice as long to build as a Suburban
so no more rear locker?
Its an option, you can have an automatic G80 or go with the manual switch locker
Would the hummer rear diff not hold up to that much torque?
No, the 9.5 (stock H2) is good for upt to 500/1000 but only in the lighter 1500 series, for the heavier 2500s we use the 10.5 or 11.5
From the factory, didn't it have full-time 4WD?
no its full time AWD with a low range, its the NR4 option code same as found in northern Tahoes and 1500 Suburbans
