The first one you've shown fits better with the theme, but the music doesn't sound like the 70s. The second one fits with the era but the robot voice doesn't fit with the theme. I prefer the combination of the demon voice with the vintage background music and sounds.
Does sound bank 1 with vintage sounds have more than just 3 classic Bally game sounds? If it's set to 5 ball, are there five different classic Bally sounds?
I think you are talking about the background sound? You can set the background (DIP switch on my board) to play just one background sound throughout the entire game or you can set the background to change with each ball eject. There are 5 different backgrounds, then they repeat. The sound board doesn't know how many balls the game is set to or if it is multiplayer. It just changes the background on each ball eject. In 3 ball games, you can get extra balls (if you have the machine set that way). Then you will hear the 4th and 5th backgrounds. Each sound bank operates the same. So, sound bank 0 with the Modern Fantasy backgrounds, will also have 5 different ones.
I do this as a hobby. But I work with people to diagnose issues with their machine. Replace the board if it fails. Refund if they don’t like it - but haven’t had anyone return any of my boards.
I have a Squawk and Talk replacement board for Mr Mrs Pacman. See geeteoh.com. All the files are WAV files on the MicroSD card. You can have 8 different sets of sounds selectable by DIP switches for this board. One bank could be your own, but you need to be good at creating/editing sound files. I have videos where I show the basics. And I have videos where you can voice over yourself and I have videos where you can use on-line text to speech.
