North Carolina and my lawn has checked out, it was looking good late May then no rain and heat did it in. Hoping it will bounce back before the end of the season. Always enjoy your show

Im in a cold season zone and my backyard is really getting to the point I want to Kill it off and start over What seed type do you feel is the best to keep about an inch in hight and takes the abuse from the dogs well.
I would do sod vs. seed. It'll be less headache and establishes faster.
@Ron help! I spilled a good amount of a 27 - 0 -0 fertilizer on my zoysia lawn even though I cleaned up what I thought most all of the granular grains that 12 in.² area, it has a deep orange yellow color. how can I revive it?

I would give it a few weeks. Typically it's applied once per month.
